Background: Minerva (never Mina) was born to a rich business tycoon and his trophy wife in southern L.A. She spent an idyllic childhood paying no attention to her parent's quickly dissolving marriage or her father's ruthless sense of business. After the inevitable divorce, Minerva soon found herself being kicked out of school after school. Private academies, catholic and boarding schools, it was never a matter of if but when. The list of expulsions was nigh legendary, including indecent exposure, drugs (Minerva was fond of saying she had a "crush" on weed), seducing countless teachers (both male and female) in exchange for better grades or similar favors, underage drinking, and in one case, attempting to service an entire football team in Abington. Shokushu campus is a bit of her "Last Chance" before her parents stop paying for tutition.
