Usual Attire: Nitalia rises Early, adorning her school uniform before she went to classes. She would change during gym classes to a pair of Grey shorts and a matching shirt, aiding in freedom of movement. Once she returned home, she would put on a pair of worn-out jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. She wore baggy clothing to try to obscure her body from the gaze of Victor Koosenov.
Background:
Nitalia was found abandoned on the steps of an orphanage as an infant, left there by person's unknown. She grew up at the orphanage and as time passed and she grew, she came to realize that of all the children she came to know as friends would leave. In fact, it was odd that no matter how many times parents in need of children visited, she was never chosen. And so as other children came and went, she remained a ward of the orphanage, under the ever watchful eye of Victor Kosenov, the orphanage Headmaster.
Nitalia was taunted by many as her long "history" at the orphanage became known and she would get into many fights with other children, particularly with the boys who didn't like being put in their place by a little girl who knew a great deal more then they of living in the orphanage. Often she would be scolded by the nurse of the orphanage for fighting, though as Nitalia explained it, they had always started it. The Nurses would always tell her that it was unladylike to fight and that the headmaster had forbidden fighting.
But that didn't stop her from trying to defend herself.
She went into public schools as was required by state regulations for the orphanage to receive government funding. She was glad to get away from the other children and away from the watch of Victor Koosenov, whom she had noticed was watching over her nearly at all times. She relished School and Sports, trying to loose herself in in her studies. She continued to fight, and her friends continued to leave just after they would establish a lasting friendship.
She began to isolate herself to keep from being hurt when her friends would leave, this seeming to bother many who worked at the orphanage, but for the Headmaster. She never seemed to escape his attentions, leading to her staying after school for any programs she could. As she neared Junior High, he seemed to be leering at her nearly constantly, she even waking in the middle of the night to find him in the room she shared with other children to find him breathing heavily.
By the time she reached High School, she had tried to run away 3 times, yet each time she was brought back and a house-arrest locater was attached to her leg until she proved to the headmaster she was trustworthy enough not to run away again. And so Nitalia focused on school and activities after school. She still fought, nowadays defending the younger children in the orphanage, the children who could not defend themselves. She would often take blame for pranks pulled, hoping that the Headmaster would kick her out of the orphanage, though unfortunately all she earned were swats.
Nitalia soon began to search for ways to get kicked out of the orphanage, once even breaking into the Headmasters Office where she learned the truth of what had happened. Her parents had made an agreement with the Headmaster, he paying her underage mother and father for their Young child. Since then, he had warded away parents who were interested in her and purposely singled out the children that Nitalia befriended, and had them send to foster parents.
She also found adoption papers, completely filled out by the headmaster. He was planning on adopting her. And then it became clear. He was wanting to keep her for himself. She was only 15, and so she was not allowed by state law to go off on her own until she was at least 16. She planned to run away as soon as she turned 16, though the headmaster worked far too quickly.
The adoption went through a mere month before her 16th birthday, she becoming Nitalia Koosenov. The Headmaster tried to get close to Nitalia, but she remained cold. When he tried to take her to his bed, her kick boxing lessons came in handy and she beat the shit out of him. Whenever he tried to force Nitalia to her bed, she would fight back. She never allowed herself into his bed.
Nitalia continued to go to school, leaving early to walk to school and staying late practicing her kick boxing, then walking home. The more time she stood away from the orphanage, the happier she was. She looked forward to graduation, as it would be another chance for her to be free. She applied for scholarships and to several colleges, wanting to get out of the orphanage once and for all.
Yet, the Headmaster would step in once more. She would only be 17 when she graduated, her birthday in the following summer. Victor took control of her Scholarship money and instead decided that he would send his young "daughter" to a finishing school that would be able to properly "break" her. He wished to take Nitalia as his wife, but she had hurt him badly. He heard of the strict practices of the Shokushu Schools and enrolled Nitalia there.
She believed that she was going to another school, packing all the things she cared to take with her. She gladly waved goodbye to all the other children as she stepped into the van, taking her to the remote airstrip where she would board the plane to another land, far away. The true land of her destination, she would only discover once she landed.
