Extra Tidbits: Persephone is in possession of the weirdest luck streak known to man; it is usually extreme and mainly pertains to crucial moments. It alternates between being the luck of a Rabbit and the luck of a black cat crossing your path as you break a mirror, because you happened to walk under a ladder with an open umbrella inside a house, which caused you to break the mirror in the first place as it catches the ladder and makes it fall over into aforementioned mirror.

Consequently, after spending a bit of time on Shokushu, her 'green thumb' was enchanced somewhat and she became a little intuned with the island itself. Gaining a connection to nature, of sorts, she can make any plant grow almost anywhere. Heat also plays weird tricks on her body, either making it so that she feels sleepy and drowzy or working as a sort of aphrodisiac. Her stamina is also nothing to shake a cig at.

Personality: Despite how innocent she looks, Persephone is surprisingly robust--physically and mentally. Almost nothing can faze the girl who pretty much just tries to go with the flow of things. The young woman is known to be warily optimistic, boisterous, a tad loud and pretty energetic to the point of almost seeming to be agressive in stance. She has a different view of the world around her, oftentimes giving a chance for things people normally wouldn't and expanding her own world in the process. She is quite friendly to everyone she meets--a few that don't really deserve her friendship at all.

Some say she has a bit of a split personality, for she sometimes will suddenly take on a less 'take on the world' outlook and become somewhat more 'passive'. In this instance, she will be introverted and less likely to tackle somebody in a hug if she knew them, having a poise and grace no one thought she had before, a thoughtful, pensive expression staying on her face... And then, in the next instant, be back to her usual devil-may-care self.

She has a great interest in the many myths of the past, particularly with Greek mythology and the tale of Hades and Persephone, of whom she was named after. Her interests made her research into various other areas of literature, although she usually stayed within her comfort zone filled with myths, legends, folklore and fairytales. Even today, she wouldn't mind sitting down and reading a book filled to the brim with children's stories or taking out a tome about Greek myths.

Background: Ever since she was young Persephone possessed all kinds of weird luck. Ever since she was dropped from the second story of her house at the tender age of two and miraculously managed to survive, she had been experiencing all sorts of strange luck. She grew up as normally as one could, however, despite the strange circumstances she often found herself in--mainly, being indirectly involved in so many rape cases in her neighbourhood. Indirectly, because the girl-child always managed to escape the clutches of a deranged man out to get her. It came to be known that she was a 'rape victim magnet', oftentimes because those who would hang around her would become the victims of a passionate ravaging for the fact that Persephone--through some luck of the draw--would escape unscathe because she was lured away just in time by something else, or she just managed to run away very, very, very, very fast. Much faster than her pursuer at any rate.

This led to a lonely stint in junior high, when the 'rape victim magnet' label was first stuck to her. No one wanted to be her friend, because she was 'bad luck' and she spent her younger days cooped up in a library with nothing, but books to keep her company, which was fine with her. Because her mother was an archeologist, she planned on becoming one herself when she was older and that required a lot of studying, so there really was no point in having friends, right? With nothing to get in the way of realizing her dream job, she studied up on Greek history at first, soon being drawn into the mythologies of that country, enthralled by the tales woven by the ancient philosophers and unnamed authors. It didn't take too long before she switched to wanting to be anything, but an archeologist, but wanting something of the same feel. Perhaps a historian? No, that wasn't exactly right, but whatever the job, she wanted to be able to keep on working on her myths that she loved so much, the characters in each tale becoming the friends she never had.

One fateful day, though, as she was searching for some new little tidbits she could squeeze out on the internet (she liked to surf and the friends she made there never seemed to be trouble by her accursed 'bad luck') she found something unexpected when she was looking up demons from the land of Hades.

That day, she found tentacle hentai. And she never looked back.

Of course, her parents eventually found out about this odd hobby of hers one day when she was older. They discovered it while their daughter was on a fieldtrip. Recently, they were growing a little worried about their daughter who had no friends and spent her time alone, cooped up in her room, talking to no one--not even them. She often locked her room, so neither mother nor father could enter it, saying that since she was growing up, she deserved a little privacy. They didn't worry at first, after all, their girl's grades were always good and she always behaved well and besides not having any friends in real life, she was still their 'good little girl'. But as any good parents would be, they stuck their nose into a place they thought they had all rights to enter and were quite disturbed.

And that was how Persephone ended up on Shokushu. They thought that the school would straighten her out. State of the art, clean, elite and best of all...no boys! They thought that, perhaps, some boy at her school had perverted their daughter when it was clearly untrue. Persephone had perverted her own mind of her own free will, due to the curiosity that both of her parents had nurtured since a young age.

Well, once she arrived on the island for the first time, you could only imagine what went wrong once she took her first steps there. The monsters had trouble getting to her. For some time, she had evaded the local 'fauna', eluding them so well that, perhaps, some thought her no ordinary girl. Eventually though, her luck ran out and she was eventually ravished and ravaged--many times over. The young woman had her many adventures on the island, ranging from the frightening to the entirely bizarre, usually with her memories intact. Of course, certain people noticed this and the way she handled being taken forcibly and she was taken and had experiments performed on her, after a certain incident involving her and one of the many denizens of the island.

The details of her detainment are unclear--even to her. In fact, she didn't remember every being captured. Stranger yet, the pink haired student couldn't even recollect ever having been raped or touched by anyone or anything when she woke-up one day in the infirmary. Her hymen was also intact, an oddity in and of itself. While the reconstruction of her virginity was a mystery to others, as for her long absence, it was said that the young woman had fallen ill and had to be taken to a 'hospital outside of the island'.

Currently, she has 'gotten back into the game', so to speak, refreshed and ready to go.
