Background; Ivy grew up in a small town in northern California. Her parents were normal parents that worked nine to five and tried to do whatever it took for their daughter to be the best she could.
Since she was about 8 she loved to wear kitty ears, and it became a habit that she refused to break. Everyone she knew got so use to her having them that they didn't recognize her the one day she didn't wear them. They also went well with her manarizims that were very similar to a cats.

It was just after she started looking into schools that her parents found that they could no longer be together. So for their daughters future they advised her on a private school, so they could work out their divorce. After a month they came across Shokushu and decided it would be the best one for Ivy.
When she told shirley it seemed like her ex got really defensive and protective over her. It was this feeling that caused them to break all ties when Ivy was looking forward to meeting new girls.
So after applying and everything else she moved to the school and started her classes.
