Background: Eldest of the two daughters of Vincent Van Hossen, Silvia is the heir to her families fortune. Growing up for her was as normal as a noble's life could be. She studied at home with tutors for everything ranging from manners to fencing. She was an excellent student, getting good grades in her classes and being praised as a fencing prodigy. When she turned 18 a recruiter from an all girls school came to talk to her parents, saying that Shokushu would be a great oppurtunity for Silvia to meet other girls her own age and learn to socialize.
