Background: Born on the eastern side of the Ohio River, Chelsey lived all of her life in Ohio attending both elementary and secondary school. Her life was fairly normal: no real boyfriends to speak of, went to school functions with friends, and developed an interest in teaching. She had excelled in her studies and had been granted the chance to attend one of Ohio's universities... that was until she received the letter of acceptance to an island school far from her home: Shokushu. Upon her acceptance into the mysterious school of Shokushu, she took it as an opportunity to learn more about the world and couldn't turn down the free ride they were offering her. Chelsey was thrilled to have gained the chance to go to school abroad, having packed her bags and arriving within a weeks time.
