Post Samantha Hall; A rare geek sighting!
Name: Samantha Hall
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Place of Birth: Denver, Colorado
Nationality: American
Hair Color: Golden Blonde
Eye Color: A medium blue
Ethnicity: White
Skin Tone: Barely-Seen-the-Sun White
Pubic Hair: Shaved, since she has a tattoo there
Distinguishing features:
Height: 5'6
Weight: 120ish pounds
Bust: 36C
Sexuality: Decidedly Undecided, she could frankly careless about gender.
Virgin: Technically, in that she has never had sex, she no longer as a hymen due to her own doing.
Piercing or Tattoos: Three ear piercings per ear, as well as three tattoos - all from games or things she enjoys; an wing just above her lady bits, a start on her lower back and a empty black square over her heart.
Primary Language: English
Activities: Gaming, programing, gaming, sleeping, gaming, yoga, gaming and doodling.
Magic: nope!

Background: Samantha's childhood would be the place to begin, if she remembered any of it. She can't remember anything past the day she turned fifteen, which has only been slightly bothersome in her mind, figuring if it was important she would remember it. She knew only the basics about herself that day, and was filled in by her parents, though she has many doubts about the story: she was adopted when she was four by them and raised to be the picture of the perfect young lady, given anything she wanted and allowed to do anything. Sam nodded and agreed, but wanted to know exactly for herself.

She pretended to settle into her life nicely, though she took it a different way then her parents would have preferred. She immersed herself into the world of gaming and living a life plugged into the internet. She found a real interest in gaming, since it could be about anything, even things that couldn't happen in real life or worlds that didn't exist. She lost herself in fantastical worlds and feel into a simple routine: sleep, eat, game, exercise - not wanting to become flabby or weak, since she did eventually plan on leaving on her own 'adventure' - sleep, game, eat and repeat.

She let her parents think that she was simply gaming - which was true 99 percent of the time - but when a game was updating or she was waiting for a response to a forum, she started digging. She tried to find anything she could on her past. She found little snippets - newspaper articles about a ballet performance she apparently stared in and the like - but nothing solid. She lost interest in finding her past eventually, only occasionally making a small dive into a archive or database when the whim struck her.

She moved on, despite that missing piece of her past lurking in the back of her head, she ignored it on most day. Wanting nothing more than to go out into the world - though not the biggest fan of the sun, she hoped it would be cloudy out- she found Shokushu, and immediately told her parents. They agreed reluctantly, not wanting their "precious daughter so far away at a mysterious school". They made her promise she would write often or contact them in some way. She agreed, though she had a plethora of excuses prepared for when she didn't on purpose.

Personality: Sam has a bit of a younger perspective on things, probably because of her lack of childhood memories. She is a bit naive in her speaking and conversing, often misses innuendos and suggestive in conversations. She will do her best to be honest and nice to a person as long as they do the same. She doesn't normally go out of her way to interact with people unless she needs something, in which case she will come out and say it, rather than beat around the bush or be sneaky. If something requires someone to be in charge, she immediately takes that spot. She likes being in charge and controlling things, but she has a small thing for people who take charge of her - though she would never in a million years admit it. When by herself though, she really is a mellow person in action. There is much more grey area to things for her when she is alone. All in all, she is a complex creature.

Miscellaneous: She is one of those people who don't sunburn or tan, but rather get more freckles. She doesn't go outside without an umbrella or hat if there is sun out because of that.

(Hey y'all! First character! Yay! Any advice is appreciated!)

To be honest, the Duplicate ability may have to go. Not only does it not seem to fit the character at all, and because of the inhibitors, which reduice magic to just parlor tricks pretty much...

I don't see any problems on my first read-through, so being new hasn't appeared to hamper you. I like the concept you outlined. Samantha doesn't have any outlandish features, but that mysterious gap to her history is a tailored RP hook. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding a partner to play with on the forums. Welcome to Shokushu, have fun, and...good luck.
