Background: Samantha is one of the four friends who decided to come to Shokushu together.
The white-haired girl known as Samantha was born as the first child of an American that later travelled to Australia to live for the rest of his life. Her parents had divorced, and some decision made him go there and bring all his children with him, this being Samantha and two younger brothers as well as a younger sister. The reason for the divorce does not entail the story, but what does is that her father failed to accomplish his intended goal. Getting but a low-paying job to pay for all the needs of his four children as well as the house and loan, Samantha's family ended up in a small spot of poverty. ... Having had a taste of what failure tastes like, the young white-haired girl's mind changed.
She became driven. It was with a grin on her lips she decided that no matter where she went, failure would not be tolerated. With the determination and discipline necessary for it, Samantha flawlessly got high grades in school and worked her ass off at part-time jobs to get prestige and support her family. At one point, she earned more a month than her father. Failure was not in her dictionary. The girl had decided that she had to become good at anything she tried, and she has mostly succeeded. Samantha never was able to become very strong, though, for going to the gym cost money and she was already using all her time to do other things, so she always trailed behind on physical competitions.
It was in High School that she ended up in the same class as Narelle, Mayra and Eliza. They hit off nicely, and with a playful attitude Samantha was able to more or less take command of the group. As the one most used to being competitive, strong and imaginative person, she dragged the others off to adventures and made sure they all had fun together. Samantha had most of the ideas and got used to being in charge of them, and none of the others minded, urging the white-haired girl on. It was her that presented the others with the idea to go to Shokushu together. With great grades from a place like that, Samantha's future would be secure, an excellent place to begin her reign over the world...! Oh, and she pulled along all her friends, too~!
Psychological Profile: She is more innocent than she thinks. Samantha's mind is strong, and well capable of dealing with a tough situation. On the other hand, what she cannot deal with is a situation she cannot handle. She can be unexpectedly quick to panic when things go wrong, and act out of desperation. When doing so, Samantha might make grave mistakes she wouldn't normally do. After grave mistakes or grave failures, she can descend into states of depression that displays her real, more vulnerable self.
Personality: A sneaky and opportunistic girl, Samantha is one who will always seek to win. Having succeeded at many times in the past, she has become confident in herself and will always seek to come on top. If she decides to accomplish something, you can bet that she'll put the necessary determination to accomplish this goal. Her confidence also helps her when she wants to do something normal people might not, such as suggest getting into trouble, flirt with other people or just play pranks on others.
Somewhat of a natural leader, Samantha naturally takes charge of any group of people she gets into, and will react unfavorably if her leadership is questioned (a reason why she fitted so well with the other three, they don't). Her anger can erupt quickly if things go against her, and she will come back with a vengeance if given the chance. Amusingly, she is a penniless person that has become spoiled by her own success. Samantha will also avoid any form of physical challenge at all costs, because she knows her competitiveness will make her compete and she also knows how dreadfully out of shape she is. Should things go against her too much, Samantha might sink into a state of depression. If she does, then it will be up to her friends to inspire her to get out of it. And upon success, Samantha will rage up as energized and determined as ever with a great frown and fierce battle-cry, and the battle will be on again.
Virgin? Yes.
Piercing or Tattoos: None.
Language: English, Spanish and French. A bit of Latin.
Likes: Her friends, winning, the rush that comes with being large and in-charge, getting things her way, playing minor pranks on people, proving herself, being free.
Dislikes: Losing, making mistakes, having her freedom limited, other natural leaders, being reminded of how physically weak she is, being reminded of how short she is.
Activities: Studying to become the best, looking for weaknesses in other people, coming up with fun ideas for adventures to drag her friends on and chatting about her plans and activities with foreign friends on the internet. Less of the last one now on Shokushu, though.
Miscellaneous: I wrote Australian as their nation of origin, but I don't actually have any idea if roleplaying someone from there would make any kind of difference from playing an American or a British. So, tell me if I am doing something unspeakably wrong by just playing them as normal.
Magic? Samantha doesn't actually know it, but she has the potential to master elemental magic of Wind and Electricity. The possibility of getting to know or master this potential at Shokushu are quite minor. In the off chance it happens, I will go into more detail, which can be denied by the moderators when the time comes. Until then, this section remains bare. But let me assure, it is of the "do magic by spending stamina" kind, overusing would result in a very exhausted and very vulnerable Samantha.
... It was during one of their adventures into the woods. Samantha had dragged them all out camping, despite her physical weakness. It was on her list of things to do with her friends. On their journey, they found a peculiar spring where they decided to have fun and bath together. What they didn't know, was that this was the spring of a particularly powerful witch who had enchanted the spring to grant magical potential to anyone who bathed in it, for she was losing her potential and therefore made this magical lake to restore it. That is why all four of the girls happen to have similar kinds of magical potential, albeit with different elements. Of course, the girls never learned what had happened to them. The witch never really learned either, so life just simply continued as usual. Except with untrained potential within every single one of the girls, that they would in a normal life never learn of.
