Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
She stressed herself for a week coming up with a menu. Anna's a resourceful chef, a girl who learned to cook under the extenuating circumstances of feeding fellow street kids with no money and makeshift utensils. Her first instinct was seafood but, for a tropical island, there's an alarming utter lack of fresh fish. So building a menu became an issue of resourcefulness, pouring over cookbooks in the library, building dishes that incorporated the lackluster selection of the cafeteria with the scarce volume of ingredients she could get through special order.
As the time specified in the invitation crawls close, she sets about hurriedly setting the table. The space in her new room is modest but well used. Dim lights set the mood for a room decorated in lavish curtains and velvet violets and blacks. Simple bead veils separate living room from bedroom. The living space is bereft of any major electronics but for a modest stereo system. Personal pieces of art line the walls and a canvas thus far splahed only with the subtle strokes of silhouette sits perched near the balcony. The smell of fresh food wafts through the apartment, dishes set atop the counter, as she stands over the sink, swallowing a pair of pills with a gulp of water.
Lace panties and bra cling to her curves as she sashays into her bedroom. Her school uniform and a black slinky dress are carefully folded over the bed, and as she sips at her glass of water, she quietly agonizes over which to wear, wanting to look good but unsure if the Head Girl would disapprove of a breach in dress code.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
The days after recruiting her newest Prefect had been rather busy for the Head Girl. A small group of students were sent slips of paper, calling each of them to their own separate rooms down in the basement. She was certain a monster or two would like an opportunity to educate some of these young woman while the rest would be left to her to discipline and correct. But the dates for those particular students was pushed back a night as Vera had an important appointment to attend. Her eager little Prefect has invited her to dinner.
Vera could tell from Anna's reports that she had been preparing for days for this night. The woman's aura always had a level of tension and stress to it. But the Head Girl let it be. The starting duties of a Prefect were simple, assigning the woman to the dorm building she had moved into. It would her duty to monitor the dorms and a few other areas on campus, ensuring the area is clean and that all rules were obeyed. To remedy any confusion, the first few meetings together were reviews of the rules and regulations of the school. Ignorance was not going to tolerated.
The Head Girl stood infront of a mirror, smoothing out her perfectly kept uniform. A brush ran freely through her long silver hair as she prepared for this dinner date. Having to go across campus, she decided her uniform would be fine to wear. Though even if dinner were in her suite, she would probably still wear her school uniform. Always working had made such an outfit part of her being. Once done with her hair, she faintly sprayed some perfume on and made her way out the door. Besides her sash that she wore loosely on her hip, Vera saw no reason to bring anything else.
The sun was setting over the horizon as Vera made her way across campus. Besides the occasionally student coming to or from night class, the woman was left alone. But still her eyes scanned for flaws to make note of during her journey. Entering the dorm building, she did much the same, searching for trash or flaws that would catch her eye. Anna was not one to make such a mistake though and soon the woman found herself standing before the Prefect's door. Knocking lightly, she waited for Anna to greet her.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
She settles finally on the dress. Sheer silk and strapless, it rides low across her ample cleavage, clinging tight to her form, hugging to the swell of her hips before flaring out finally at the thigh, glimpse of knees just past the fringe. She's adjusting her hair in the mirror when the knock comes at the door. She spent the night before teasing it out, wavy curls of violet falling just past her ears, lips and nails matched in dark plum. Her head tilts as the knock comes, steeling herself with a deep breath before swishing back towards the door.
The absurdity of the situation verges on farce, Anna flustered over the scenario like a sitcom first date. They seem, the both of them, antithetical to the idea of genuine romance but here the scene has been set with dim candlelight, the faint aroma of burning sandalwood. Her hand lingers on the door handle for a moment, mentally rehearsing the night in her head, before finally letting it turn, hips askance as she welcomes Vera in, white teeth against purple nail. "Miss Matsumoto... I'm going to be honest with you." she leads, mischievously. "Half of the time I was worried you wouldn't show. The other half, I was worried that you would..." Teeth catch bottom lip, fingers laced behind her as she stands to the side to let the woman through. "What do you think of the place?"

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
The scent of burning candles welcomed her as the door opened and she was greeted by her Prefect. Anna looked rather appealing in that dress that left little to the imagination. The blacks went well the dark violets of the woman's hair, nails, and lips. She could sense the woman's nervousness and anticipation. But she would have known this without her abilities along with having an idea of what this woman was hoping to accomplish by having dinner with her. Vera did not mind the ambition and perhaps was slightly flattered. She will just have to wait and see what this one had planned.
"You should know by now that I do not waste other people's time and expect the same in return," she replied cooly as she entered, "I would have contacted you sooner if something had come up. But, I doubt anything would have kept me away from spending some time with my newest Prefect." The Head Girl did scan the room. She doubts there were any issues with the room itself. It was just a matter of checking Anna's personal touches that were made. "I see you have an interest in art, no wonder you found yourself drawn to Katya," she said softly, "But, I should be the one asking you about your room. Are there any problems with your new room that I should know about, Anna?"
She saw no need to search through all of the rooms. This was supposed to be dinner, not a military inspection. Vera remained standing as she waited for the woman to close the door. She could already smell dinner coming from the kitchen. Her Prefect must have been preparing with what free time she had throughout the day. Brushing a few strands of silver hair behind her shoulders, she would remain standing until she was taken to her seat.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
She slithers against the door, fingers curled around knob, back flush against the flat woodas she slips it closed. Lips curve upward, eyes keen and inquisitive, fluttering in brief glances after Vera's gaze. "Mm. Ms. Ivanova is, just, an inspiration... All the girls admire her, those that aren't hateful and jealous at least." Flush against the door, palms flat, she seems briefly lost in daydream, the look (perhaps constructed) of schoolgirl crush. Wistful smile turns up impishly, and she pushes herself off the wall, snakelike lean towards Vera's ear, tickle of whispered breath. "But you came here to eat, yes?"
She swishes towards the kitchenette, leaving Vera briefly to her own devices. Her art is capable, if undisciplined. Life models, mostly pretty girls, are mixed with more abstract impressionism, all sparse fluid linework, elegantly spartan. Platters are lined along the counter of the kitchen and she sets about inspecting them, olive plucked from tray and nibbled on like a rabbit. "I was thinking we could eat on the patio." she suggests, with a tilt of her head towards the suite's porch.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
The door shut with a soft click, Anna's lovely form resting against it as if she were trapping her prey inside her new home. If Katya was still available, it was doubtful this woman would hold such an interest in Vera. Her new Prefect did state the desire to grow higher than everyone else and the Head Girl was a stepping stone towards that goal. Now, Anna's eyes were only on her as she slithered closer. "Mm... Among other things, yes." she replied softly.
The woman pulled away and retreated back to the kitchen where the food layed in waiting. Vera smoothed her skirt briefly as the idea to eat on the patio was offered. "Either place is fine by me," she said simply. Anna was trying hard to hold her attention but such attempts were distracting her Prefect from the task at hand. Perhaps some education in basic etiquette would do the woman some good. It was going to take more than the sway of the hip to climb higher on this island.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
Without context given, a voyeur might construe Anna as the woman with power in the situation, the black widow, the vamp fatale. Sandaled heels click agaisnt tile as she inspects the dishes like a drill sergeant dressing down her men. "Please, make yourself comfortable, Miss. I would have liked to have wine, but I guess that's a luxury we'll have to forgo, mm?" Lips nimbly graze over finger, cleaning the vinegary droplet from the nibbled olive.
Practically has led her towards a tapas style dinner, a variety of smaller dishes that could otherwise serve as appetizers, cutting the risk of the Head Girl not liking the meal by providing plenty of options. Of course, that only compounded the labor involved. Small dishes are settled on her arm, balanced carefully before she dares clip towards the patio, eyes following Vera the whole time.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
Despite being in uniform, Vera showed no signs of being intimidated by her Prefect's appearance. The school uniform fitted perfectly to her body and the sash that loosely rested around her hips was sign enough of the power she held over the other woman. The Head Girl's eyes narrowed only slightly as Anna told her to go have a seat. But such annoyance would have been barely noticable if at all while the other woman was still inspecting the dishes.
"It is fine," she replied cooly, "Alcohol would only dull the senses anyway." The Head Girl found a chair out on the patio and took her seat. The clatter of plates and the click of heels soon sounded Anna's arrival as the woman was carrying numerous dishes to the table at once. She was unsure if the woman was in a rush or just trying to show off her various skills. In anycase, Vera sat perfectly composed in her chair. Her hands were folded on her lap as she was greeted by the sights and smells of various foods. She could tell this took some time as there were a variety of different foods for her to try. Seems her Prefect wanted to work harder instead of asking what sort of food she preferred.

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
There's clearly a tension, a general sense of disapproval on the part of the Head Girl that hovers on the verge of venom, a sharp razor of judgment that seems perpetually poised to cut through the thick tension. But then, that's just about normal. Anna sets about lining the plates in a ring, pausing to light the candles at the center of the table, making small talk of explaining the dishes to Vera the whole time: light courses with deceptively complicated structure: pulled jerk egg rolls, thai salad in spicy peanut dressing, seared pork and roasted apple. The list goes on, and she explains them chiripily even as she steps back into the kitchen to retrieve a caraf of ice water. The table is already set, but she fusses over the symmetry of it all before finally settling into a seat across from Vera.
Spreading a napkin in her lap, she watches Vera keenly, as if the woman was a teacher looking over a term project she'd labored a full semester over. Head tilted askance like a bird, voice soft. "Have my notes been of any use to you?"

Re: Serving Miss Matsumoto (Vera X Anna)
Any disapproval the Head Girl may have could wait till later. Anna took the time to explain what each dish was, ranging from various styles and ethnic groups. There was something admirable to how meticulous the Prefect was to detail and ensuring everything was perfect. The woman was still rough around the edges but it was pleasing to see the woman trying and working hard to ensure things were done correctly.
With the table set, Vera waited a few moments before serving herself a little bit from each plate. She noted earlier when she took her seat that nothing was prepared to drink. It was common to serve a drink first so guests would have something to sip on while waiting for their meal. At first she just assumed the woman was not familiar with the order and would do so afterwards. But Anna had taken her seat after setting the dishes. The Head Girl did not say anything though, taking a few bites of perhaps the milder foods after setting a napkin on her lap.
Her Prefect decided that business would be the best topic to start on. She did not mind, it would have come up in any case and the two did not know much about each other to talk about much else. "Yes, they were very useful," she replied, "It will take some time to set up and prepare proper punishments for all of the students involved. But it does stop another potential gang from suddenly rising on campus." Already, slips ordering students to the basement were sent. The dates and times were spread out so Vera would not have to deal with all of them at the same time. It was going to be a busy few weeks to say the least.
