Sleeping was quite nice when I did sleep though this of course wasn't one of those night. the various lants in my room trying to calm me as I just knelt there on my mattress wearing my usual red sweater and long brown skirt hiding my form as was my natural state. I Remembering the days before I came to the forsaken school hurt more than what had happened her so far. Scorning my friend's affection it was a constant strain on my mind every night. I had left my door open so anyone who wanted to could see me in my sorrow. |

Mizuho happend to be walking down the hallway, her hands shoved in her jacket pockets. She noticed the open door and heard sobs, taking a a glance into the room and noticing a girl on her bed. "um hello?" |

I looked up to the arrival tears staining my cheeks as I looked at her still crying. I took a breath and wiped away the tears. "H...he...hello..." I managed somehow through the comfort and my own self-pity. |

Mizuho went wide eyed noticing it was Erika. "erika!" She pushed the door open and ran inside looking the girl over then around the room. "whats wrong are you alright?....did a monster show up?" She grabbed her friend she could barly call a friend and hugged her soothing her. "shhh...whats wrong?" |

I shook my head when she began asking questions glad it was someone I at least knew the name of. "No... no monster... just a... a haunting memory... Mizuho." It was more than just that really but, for now I left it at that little tidbit. |

Mizuho hugged her tighter and soothed her. "its ok calm down....." She rubbed the girls back gently. |

contact was something the plants, no matter how much they wanted to couldn't provide me when I needed it. I found it much easier to steady myself with mizuho there. not enough to stop the tears but, enough to ease my nerves. "Th...thanks..." I stuttered as I spoke my glasses had various cracks in the lenses that hadn't been there last time I saw Mizuho. |

Mizu looked down at the girl and smiled alittle. "are you feeling alittle better?" Her hand came up to brush the girls hair out of her face. "dont cry....." She began to humm a song her mom had taught her along time ago. |

I looked to her and slowly began to smile as she hummed I ended up leaning on her shoulder. "Much bettr actually... thanks..." I paused and closed my eyes pulling myself a little closer to her enjoying the contact. |

Mizuho continued the hum and hugged her like a mom would rubbing the back of her head as she rocked with the girl. The room was silent cept for the humming moonlight casting a black glow on the room. |

Truly calmed I'd have fallen asleep in her arms if I hadn't fought the urge; it was another thing this woman was good at. I felt the tension fade from my mind even though the memory remained at it's forefront I guess I was happy sitting there. it hurt even more that knowledge couldn't fix this as easily as a simple embrace. |

Mizuho stopped and looked down into Erika's eyes. "want me to continue?....i will if you want i have no problem" Mizu smiled and kissed the girls forehead in a friendly manner. |

"You don't have to but... would you stay here for awhile at least? just having flora near me I don't think that'll help much right now..." my face flushed very easily even from that friendly kiss but, that wasn't odd given who I was. |

Mizu nodded her head then lay back on the bed next to the girl. "wanna tell me about it or just talk about somthing else?" The tomboy said, reaching over to carress the girls back. |

I offered a sigh thinking about things before I looked over to her again. "I've tried ignoring it since I arrive and haven't had a single evening when I wasn't crying myself to sleep... or being attacked..." |
