Post such a nice welcome...(open for any girls ~.o)
It was a cool day and the sky was clouded over to the horizon when I arrived on the island for the first time. I wore a long black sleeveless dress that skimmed the ground; black mesh fingerless Gloves quite long reaching my upper arms a cloak over my shoulders. around my neck a pendant with a simple ruby in it. I walked towards the dorm building lgancing up from under my hood other students looked at me and cringed a few even moved away. I walked up to a student and tried to speak with her but, she panicked and fled shouting something about 'Stay away from me you monster' A strange reaction to be certain for a student to have to me.

I took a deep breath as I entered the dorm's common area dropping my hood to reveal my jet black hair black eyeliner & purple lipstick along with a skull hairpin with hearts for eyes... I liked it so sue me. I carried a couple of bags under my cloak and I placed them down on the sofa stretching my back a little taking a look around.

"Certainly a cheery place."

I commented to what seemed like no one, instead it was a spirit of a human woman roughly my age wearing an older styled uniform.

"You think so?" I questioned, "I haven't been here very long, but it seems strangely difficult to break the ice."

for the first time in the past week, i had gotten to sleep at a Godly hour, and had managed to wake up on schedule. For once, this gave me time to shower, (moisturize), straighten my hair, put on some light make up, even eat a good breakfast. My long auburn hair fell sleek and shiny in the dry air, my bangs falling just into my deep brown eyes. I looked, smelled, and felt great. And maybe that's why I bothered to step out of my way to great the incoming student.

The girl in front of me was dressed a little differently from most girls, but my days as a rebel child had desensitized me to such displays. She seemed a little weary from a day of travel. If only she knew what the island had in store for her. I knew why no one had seemed friendly to her; no one wanted to have to tell her the bad news.

"Do you need any help with your bags?" I asked.

I looked at the girl and flashed a bit of a toothy smile, eight fangs sat in my mouth along with my eye color pale skin and black hair I matched steriotypical vampire descriptions from all sorts of fiction.

"Sarcasm deary sarcasm."

I told her the smile fading as I cracked my knuckles stretching my back assuming this girl would just run away like the others.

"And a little help would be nice."

my voice held little feeling to it no matter how i seemed to speak or what I seemed to say. I felt very little for the last four years of my life, the only four years I remember.

Are those... fangs?

Though I was surprised by this latest sight, my facial expression didn't show it. I had grown accustomed to hiding my responses, after losing friendships over my "overly profound" reactions to the world.

From her body language, her jeering smile, it seemed as though she had turned away many an outgoing acquaintance. Had I been in a worse mood, I probably would have lost interest; however, I wasn't about to give up just yet. And, She did ask for help.

"No problem," I said, returning a smile of my own. "Oh--My name's Teague, by the way. What's yours?"

My smile faded and my expression returned to it's normal near emotionless one though with just a hint of sadness; i never knew why I felt depressed most of the time, I just did.

I was certainly surprised that she had decided to stay around me given the reactions of the other two or three girls I had met the odd reactions.

"Charlotte Tepes Belnades; well at least that's what I tell people. I don't know what my real name is; no one does. But, I digress it is nice to see someone not fleeing in terror from seeing my fangs."

I commented honestly to her as I removed my cloak and stuffed it into one of my emptier bags my pale skin in direct contrast to the black dress. Renissance gothic style was what I wore most of the time I made the clothing myself mostly though there were a few pieces I had others make for me.

"Might I ask why they might act so unrationally or would you not know?"

"Doesn't know her own name..." I thought to myself. I was surprised that she had released such a personal piece of information, but I appreciated the confidence that she had so readily given me. Still, I didn't know exactly what to say to that, so I thought it might be best to keep quiet.

I reached for some of her bags on the couch, as she packed away her cloak.

"Might I ask why they might act so unrationally or would you not know?"

I hesitated... How do you go about telling someone that we're trapped here on an island until who knows when, so that monsters can rape and ravage us on a whim, and that know one quite knows where all the girls go, but more girls keep coming in.

"unrationally??? I don't know about unrational... i mean, you look like a vampire..." I joked. I would tell her the truth eventually, but not here, and not now. not when there might be staff members watching.

"I don't know why that would do it... Vampires don't come out during the day do they now?"

I looked to the clock and it was indeed afternoon still the sun was still out. but I'd just offer a shrug taking a breath looking for the key I had been given as I exited the plane.

"Besides..."

I pulled out a jewel encrusted pillbox it was made of 14k gold with a single ruby on it's top and various others on the sides. one hand went into my mouth and popped out four of the eight fangs out putting them into the box which would return to my pocket.

"I only have four natural fangs... still I guess that is enough anyway. Tell me, would you know how they're using the survailence equipment they're provided with?"

It was my company that provided them after all I wanted to make sure they weren't using it wrongor for purposes that were illegal.

"surveillance? Why would you want to know about that?"

She sure was asking strange questions for someone who didn't know about the islands darkest secret. But someone would have to tell her. Someone would have to tell her that her life would never be the same again. I wanted to wait, until she was somewhere a little more private, but it seemed now was as good a time as any to explain the perils of the island.

"You see, this school is a little... different. In fact, you can hardly even call it a school. It's going to sound crazy, but please believe me. It's better you hear it from me than learn the hard way." I shuddered, "At night, or during the day, anytime really, monsters run rampant on this island. And not just man eating violent monsters... These monsters... they're sick. They rape and abuse the students of the school. And that's not all; the staff's in on it too. They don't respond to complaints of rape. You can't even leave; emails, phone calls, nothing regarding leaving the island ever makes it home. I guess that's how the surveillance is being used..."

"Wait... you're telling me my company's money is being used to fund a psuedo school where the students are under the constant threat of rape?!"

I believed her yet at the same time didn't it was an odd mix I didn't quite believe in the monsters but, my mind was a bit more open than some and given that I had been told we were also helping fund a lab near by I wouldn't dismiss the possibility experimments escaped to the island.

"I suppose I'll have to send afew emails then... the company language will more than be enough to encode the message."

A simple ultimatum, either send me home or I pull funding, my company had been kept in the dark about the island's true purpose & location however.

"well, you can try, but it's not that easy."

I admired her fire, and anger towards the situation. I was glad she believed me. Why would I lie about something like that?

"The staff here controls everything on the island. They control email traffic in, and out of the school. It's not a matter of encryption, you could use RSA encryption so that they couldn't read it, but in the end, if they can't read it, they won't send it. They'd send home responses, pretending to be us, so that parents don't worry. In fact, they might fabricate messages from our parents or loved ones so that we don't worry. In fact, I would urge you not to, in case they decide to send something to punish you..."

it broke my heart to inform this peculiar (and adorable) young woman of her peril, yet i knew the sooner she knew of her circumstances, the better.

"It's not a programming code deary, it's a bit of a secret language we use at my company we have a few spies that attempt to but, I digress, I suppose it's best not to dwell, perhaps the creatures will think I'm one of them if I keep the fangs in 24/7."

I told her quickly replacing my four fake fangs onto the proper teeth; they were made out of the same stuff implants were so they were just as strong as any tooth. I shifted on my feet and stretched my arms once more lifting one of my bags up over my shoulder.

"Dwelling on things like this is a bit depressing anyway."

She seemed to be taking it... eerily well.

Perhaps the shock would set in later, but until then, I was glad she was so composed. I hoisted the remaining bag onto my shoulder, and shifted a little to get it to settle.

"I guess you're right. there's no point in dwelling." I sighed. "I guess I can show you around the dorm while we're at it. What room are you in?"

"My key says room 200... I think. The numbers are a bit faded."

She offered the key to her not knowing apparently the X00 line of dorms were designed for more of a group of room mates rather than the traditional dorms duo or trio.

((Read that room 300 has room for like six people so since traditionally all appartment/dorms in a line are the same design...))

(i think it's a triple, in that thread)

I took the key and observed it. The numbers weren't very well defined, but it seemed to look like 200 to me.

"Oh! you have one of the triple rooms! That'd be nice. My single gets a bit lonely at times."

That was partly a lie. For the most part, I hadn't really met anyone at Shokushu that I wouldn't have lost interest in. Most of the students here grated on me in some way or another, today just happened to be a day where I was in a good mood.

"We'll take these stairs," I said, leading the way.

((Really? will have to ask one of the occupants when I see them on to clarify heh. ah well doesn't effect the RP too much either way))

I followed with a slight nod, I had been hoping for a single honestly. I suppose they might have been being nice to me given the billion dollar yearly funding my company was giving them suppose it didn't matter much to me in the long run, I could always just keep to myself and ignore my roomies.

"I suppose that could be true though I have had little contact with people as far back as I remember save for my company reps and engineers."
