Violett wasn't entirely sure what was so intersting about this girl, but something about her struck Violett as odd.

Maybe it was the green hair... Violett had seen some strange hair colors on this campus, but green was a new one, especially in the two-giant-pigtails style the girl wore it in.

Maybe it was just the fact that Violett was relieved to see someone who was even shorter and flatter than her.

But somehow, maybe, Violett thought she sorta knew this girl, like she'd maybe encountered her in passing once.

"Hi," she said nervously.

She whistled softly to herself at first not expecting to see someone as she walked about in her usual outfit. when she noticed violett she smiled softly offering a bow.

"Konnichiwa."

she offered the woman with a smile.

"Genki desu ka."

she blushed softly when she heard what she was saying and bowwd in embarassment.

"Excuse me for that... It is natural for me to... uhm... speak in nihon-jin"

Violett blinked softly, a nervous smile crossing her face as she curtsied.

"Um... Hi, Genki... I'm Violett Small. Pleasure to meet you. I... um... take it you're from Japan?"

Jaoan. That seemed important, like it might be how Violett knew this girl... But that didn't make any SENSE! Violett had never been to Japan, and nobody she knew online was Japanese.

Curiouser and curiouser.

she nodded to Viollet twirling a finger around in one of her large floor length pigtails smiling sweetly looking up to the kind woman.

"Yes... Japan; it's japan in english. sorry I forget from time to time. My english is not completely fluent."

she said with a bit of a disappointed tone to her voice.

Violett smiled sheepishly, taking a step back.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it! I mean, you speak really good English and I don't speak Japanese at all! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! Ramen nasai!"

she giggled a little shaking her head smiling.

"I'm sorry by itself is sumimasen, you just said do ramen."

she was adorable when she laughed and she was still smiling so warmly to the woman.

"... Like I said," Violett replied sheepishly, "my Japanese kinda sucks. But, um, I'm glad I'm at least funny. So, um, you said your name was Genki, right? 'Genki desu sha'?"

"Oh no no, I was asking how you were feeling."

she replied with a smile and bow.

"If you'd like you can call me Airi."

"Okay, Airi," said Violett. "I'm Violett Small. Do I... um... Know you from somewhere?"

she blushed slightly shaking her head suspiciously fast before in a panicked tone.

"No no no! you don't know me no that's impossible heh yep I'm just a no body no one know me!"

she'd then offer a nervous laugh.

Blink blink.

"...Okay then... I'll just back away nice and slow then, all right?"

"I'm sorry please, I didn't mean to frighten you miss... Please forgive me..."

she said with her eyes beginning to well with tears. she felt horrible when it sounded like she upset someone she practically was ready to get down on her knees and beg violett's forgiveness.

Violett smiled sheepishly, waving her hands.

"No, no! I was joking!"

she vaugely laughed to violett a naive smile really; she was a bit dense sometimes not used to humor and the like; she'd been owned since she was a child after all; a child idol and unknowingly a child servant.

"Heh oh a joke heh."

Violett nodded.

"Yeah... um... Not a very good one I guess... So, er..."

She twiddled her thumbs nervously.
