We made a promise, we wouldn't disappear. I knew my Sondra would return, she had to... there were plenty who made me feel as loved physically, but Sondra was the only one to whom my heart belonged, and I had to stay, awaiting her return. This all ran through my mind as I sat in the commons room, just staring at the celling. Someone save me, I thought and closed my eyes. Someone bring her home.

Emily had just settled in. After about four hours of organization and re-organization, she decided that her room was good enough. So good, in fact, that she was sick of looking at it. Taking a look at her campus map, she spotted the common room.

"Hmm, maybe someone will be there..." she said to herself.

She walked into the commons, her long hair entering the room slightly afterwards. She had a light leather bag slung over her shoulder. Her violet tanktop fit her body well, ending just above her knee-length tan skirt.

I yawned and adjusted my light blue and pink top. I was getting remarkably bored, remarkably bored. I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Something pretty in a great shade of purple.
"Hey, pretty face."

Emily looked at the lounging girl, her face turning a little red.

"Um, excuse me?"

"I said you're [retty/"
I said again, smiling wide at her. I loved it when they got all blushy, it made my pulse quicken and my desires build a little. I kept myself in control pretty well, though.

She smiled slightly and giggled, "Th-thanks!"

Emily stood looking at this girl for a moment, trying to think of something to say; the girl's unexpected comment had thrown her.

The girl's awkwardness just fueled me. I decided to maintain small talk for a bit, but I knew that fire was building within me.
"How long have you been here?"

"Only a day. I arrived yesterday evening and I've been cooped up in my room since." Normal conversation. Emily began to relax a little.

But... what was that look in this girl's eyes?

"Seen any of the... unique animal life?"
I had learned many times over that warning them was useless, but counseling them after was priceless, and to stick with what worked. Either way, though, I had a need, and this girl would fill it.

"Umm, no?" She honestly had no idea what this girl was talking about.

"So, um, what's your name?"

"Eh, call me Linny."
My smile was still coy and mildly flirtatous. A disarming and charming smile that might lure her in.

"That's cute!" she said. There was something about this 'Linny' that Emily found, well, alluring. Somethig in Emily didn't want to move away from the girl at any costs, but she wasn't sure if it was "safe" to move closer...

"I'm Emily..." she said, trailing off into a sweet smile.

That face, it was enough for me to get lost in. I ranted to reach out, pull her into a passionate kiss, and claim her as my own. But all things in time, first, first was the lure. The drawing her in, relaxing and disarming.
"Your name suits you. It's as beautiful as you are."

"Umm, th-thank you..." she stuttered. She just met this girl, and she was being hit on! Part of her wanted to get up and leave.

This was apparently a very small part.

"Sorry, I tend to be a bit forward."
I added, seeing her become a little uncomfortable.
