Lola Honey was new to the school of Shokushu and she was a little nervous. Normally she was very open to meeting people and rarely did she care what people thought about her but this place was so new. The common room was empty for now and she was grateful as it gave her some time to adjust to her surroundings. She went up to a mirror on the wall and surveyed her reflection. 'Well, at least I look good' she thought to herself. She had a sparkly pink blouse, cute black and white plaid skirt and to-die-for white boots. She wrapped her arms around her ample chest as she realized how body-hugging that blouse really was. She loved her large bosom but it felt a little in the way at times. She sighed to herself and took a seat in one of the soft armchairs in the common room and waited to see if any of the other girls would come by. She hoped so, she was getting eager.

Susan was bored; she didn't have any assignments due, and none of her friends were available right now. Admittedly, boredom was better than some of the alternatives here, but that didn't mean she had to like it. Well, there's always the common room, she thought as she threw on a black Dragonforce t-shirt and a pair of faded jeans. At worst, I can admire the scenery. She grabbed a novel before she left; some of the 'scenery' might object to being admired too obviously.

The common room was almost deserted when she got there, though, with just one other student present. Well, it can't hurt, she thought as she went over to where the other woman was sitting. "Hi. You new here?"

"Yes I am!" Lola quickly replied, looking the girl over. She definitely had a different style than her, but seemed friendly. "Maybe you could tell me a little bit about how things work around here? Since I'm pretty clueless," Lola giggled nervously and flipped her hair.

"Well… it depends what you want to know about. One thing you'll definitely need to know: the school can be ridiculously strict about enforcing their rules, and the punishments are supposedly way out of proportion at times, like detention for not wearing the regulation underwear with the uniform. And if you can avoid it, don't go out after curfew, even if you've got permission." She gave an involuntary shudder at the memory of the one occasion she'd had to be out that late; that bat-creature had been the only thing she'd encountered here that had made her fear for her life.

She tried to push those memories out of her head. "Let's see… Head girls have light blue sashes and prefects dark blue; they're largely responsible for enforcing the rules, so you want to be aware of that. Other than that, well, if there's anything you want to ask about…" She paused for a moment before a thought struck her, based on the other woman's appearance. "Or I could show you around some of the campus, including the two stores and a food court that the school calls a mall."
