Post Brainstorming(for Vanessa and Stephanie)
After her final class of the day, Rosalie hurries to her room to drop off the books she didn't need and change out of her uniform. She had been put in a group of three with Vanessa and Stephanie, and they decided to meet at Vanessa's room to discuss their assignment. As she walks down the hall, she looks over the sheet of paper describing what they needed to do. "Hmm, so we need to write a short story. Shouldn't be too much trouble...as long as we can agree on what it should be about." At this point, she had a couple of ideas of her own, but her classmates likely had some of their own. She couldn't wait to hear them.

Once Rosalie arrives at Vanessa room, she knocks to see if she's already in there. "Vanessa? You in there?"

Post Re: Brainstorming(for Vanessa and Stephanie)
The assignment was straight forward. A short story … well she wrote her own material and a short story was a tad longer but she had some experience with writing an ideas. Andre had a few topics though she didn't know if she should share them seeing that they were a little true to home.

Someone masked as someone else … while Vanessa knew of her true identity and Ania the only other person was that demon thing if it were paying attention though it didn't seem so. One student and one monster though she dressed up for talent shows as Andre Summers. No one suspected anything even though she was said to look and sound like her. Well, duh.

But that was an inside joke that she and Vanessa shared. Bringing up such a topic though could get Rosalie to get too suspicious and the last thing she wanted was for her true identity to get out after going through so much trouble to conceal it in the first place. Not that she intentionally thought Rosalie would spread things but letting things slip had been possible.

Now most people may have been fretting over an old lover meeting a current one though Andre only saw the prospect of fun should a situation arise. She took it slow with Vanessa applying no pressure on her whatsoever allowing her to get as serious or frivolous as she wanted. She liked her a lot and was willing to wait.

Andrea had known her fair share of pressure from the studio and her handlers and that was the last thing she wanted to instill on another.

Still dressed in her school uniform she grabbed her bag and set out for Vanessa's place pretty sure there wouldn't be a surprise demon in her wardrobe unlike hers. What could be the odds? The thing was her bag didn't have much in the way of school supplies but toys, just in case. One needed to be prepared after all ...

If someone was nervous for the study group, it was Vanessa. She had gotten involved with both Rosalie and Stephanie, and had also failed to give them proper answers. Hopefully the study group could go by smoothly and they could end it immediately after. Anyways, in terms of stories, the knight had pondered many plots involving fire-breathing dragons and a princess locked up in a tall tower. It was just the type of gal she was- beneath these layers of courage and stubbornness hid a fanatic obsession with the knights and chivalry. Though, just about anyone in Shokushu that knew Vanessa was aware of her knightly tendencies. Unlike the other two, Vanessa wore skin-tight shorts that only covered about half of her thigh. It was black with pink stripes running up the side of it. She also had a black tank top that hugged her form. She was laying on her bed with one leg crossed over the other. Above, she was holding a notebook of the ideas she had formulated.

With the sound of the first knock, the redhead dropped her notebook and walked over to the door, opening it and giving Rosalie a friendly hug. "Rosalie! Come in!" She smiled. "You're the first one here. Stephanie should be here in a bit." She walked over to her desk. "Want a mint?" She plucked a mint from a bowl of packaged mints and tossed it over to Rosalie.

Rosalie smiles and returns the hug before stepping into Vanessa's room. "Hi Vanessa. Alright, I'm in no hurry." She answers, catching the mint tossed to her then unwrapping it and popped it in her mouth. "Thank you. So, how have you been since our last uh...get-together?" She referring to the encounter they both had with Ania. Afterwards, there was some awkwardness between the two girls. Rosalie misunderstood what was going on between Vanessa and Stephanie. Vanessa felt embarrassed and ashamed of how she acted in front of Rosalie. It was a few days before they were finally able to at least greet each other and things eventually went back to normal for the most part. But much of what they had been between then and now wasn't well known.

She wasn't too far behind Rosalie actually. Checking her watch she was on schedule, her book bag slung over her shoulder as she walked the short distance between dorm rooms. Vanessa was on a different floor than she was though I wasn't too far from her own actually.

Other than being stopped once on the way as a fellow student inquired about getting a hold of some contraband to which she responded that she would look into the matter and see what she could do.

Since meeting Daphnee she really hadn't been involved in the contraband game. Namely she didn't need the attention of a Prefect on her though she had been spending more time practicing her music Since the talent shows she could get away more with sounding like Andrea Summers without people making the connection tat she was Andrea Summers to begin wit.

Arriving at her destination she knocked and waited. Had it not been for the doors auto locking once closed (she had been locked out of her room a few times now) she may have entered straight after announcing her presence.

Vanessa seemed to shrug off the awkwardness of her last encounter. In fact, it seemed like whatever happened back then didn't bother the redhead. "I've been good." The knight responded half-heartedly. She refused to look at Rosalie and instead distracted herself by finding a notebook and some books to help them in their brainstorming. Then, a knock came on the door. "Ah, it's probably Stephanie." The crimson-haired girl set her things down and walked over to the door. "Hey!" She said excitedly, inviting the blonde friend inside. The girl closed the door and went back to her spot. The redhead clapped her hands, looking at both of them. "So! Short story time! Any ideas?"

Rosalie opens her own notebook trying to decide which of her idea would suit this assignment best. "Well, I'm sure it's been done to death, but perhaps something involving two people trying to win the love of the same man or woman. Or...maybe a different take on the story of the golden touch. I remember reading a story about a boy who had a chocolate touch. Anything that so much as touched his lips turned into chocolate." She didn't really expect anyone to take the last suggestion seriously. The fact was, she had several ideas but many would not have been appropriate for a class assignment.

Post Re: Brainstorming(for Vanessa and Stephanie)
Her eyes widened as the door open revealing Vanessa in her casual attire. She smiled. “Hello, looking good.”

If this had meant to feel awkward there were no signs of it on Andrea's part as she entered and came across the mint haired girl. So everyone was at least acquainted with one another from class. Greeting Rosalie she had listened to the ideas that had been poised.

A love story, even with the elements of contested love or a love triangle was common enough but it had many components to that they could play around with. But was Rosalie hinting at something with that she wondered, did she have eyes for Vanessa too or did she mean her … they had a thing for a short while after Daphnee introduced them and things sort of died down but it was possible that after such a cooling of period Rosalie was having other thoughts.

Not wishing to make an issue of it or reading into things that may not even be there she harped on the second story idea. “Like Midas! That can be interesting. Since it's only his lips he can function without hindrance. Maybe he's a chocoholic and thinks it's wonderful but in some bizarre twist a girl he likes can kiss him and turn into a statue of chocolate.”

They could add or subtract whatever from it. Other than her song writing she had no real experience with writing much but wouldn't have even considered such an idea.

Vanessa smiled once she heard the compliment. "Thanks, you look cute too!" When the girls were all accommodated into the room, Vanessa tapped a mechanical pencil against her lip. She was deep in thought, thinking of a fairy tale that they could write. She was in love with those knightly stories of being saved in a knight-in-shining-armor, but ultimately decided that no one would want to listen to such a ridiculous story. The redhead glanced up, noticing the two look at her. "Oh. Uh, huh... W-what was that again?" She laughed nervously scratching her head. "Yeah, a chocolate man sounds good. We should have a big, bad villain too! Maybe something scary, like a dragon?!" She said excitedly, nearly squeaking with her voice.

"It's funny you mention that, Stephanie. That's pretty much how it starts out, but eventually the boy realizes just how much of a curse it really is, especially when he does give someone a kiss and turns her into a chocolate statue. Only it was his mother it happened to." Rosalie replies.

Her attention turns to Vanessa to hear her suggestions, though she seemed to be lost in her own little world at first. "Um, actually the whole chocolate thing was a spin on the story of Midas and the golden touch. You looked like you had something more than just a dragon in mind. What was it, Vanessa?"

“Thanks,” she smiled and entered. Soon enough the three of them were planning out ideas and it had not surprised her that Vanessa was thinking of a dragon. While she had been familiar herself with the story of Midas she was delighted to know that her idea had been shared by the creator of that tale.

But they weren't seeking to plagiarize here and they were both great ideas. Andrea considered it for a small while, of course the story would be there own too.

“How about a boy gets drawn into a candy kingdom where everything is made of candy. The ground, buildings even the people, think Adventure Time here. We can have a group of enemies or even one like a giant or dragon that loves candy. Maybe instead of the bad ending were gluttony is bad it could be creative. He could save the kingdom by kissing the baddie and turning it to chocolate ...”

Andrea's eyes lit up a moment later. “Maybe the kiss doesn't kill them but now that they're candy everyone is happy and the bad guy assimilates into the kingdom. Maybe it was only eating buildings or streets and being a nuisance because it thought that eating that much candy would turn it to candy or since it was organic it needed to eat something and didn't want to eat the people ...”

Her jaw worked back and forth as she thought over things but remained silent to see what the others thought. No sense wasting ideas when it was easy enough to combine them.

Post Re: Brainstorming(for Vanessa and Stephanie)
Vanessa glanced over at the green-haired friend, staring at her though not quite paying attention to what she was saying. The redhead gathered enough clues from the end of the sentence to answer her question. "Oh. It's nothing, just a little tired from classes is all." Perhaps this comment was a red flag, as the crimson-haired girl enthusiastically mentioned the dragon just moments ago. She leaned back into a more relaxed position. When Stephanie suggested the idea of a candy kingdom, the crimson-haired girl pursed her lips. "Isn't that a little bit much on the plagiarizing side as well? We can take that same concept and tone it down a notch. Instead of being a kingdom made entirely of candy, maybe the people are just regular people and they really love candy. The buildings and all can be made of candy, but the people would be human." She suggested, trying her best to give an input.

The girl didn't know why she couldn't focus. Maybe it was because she hated this mundane schedule- going to a school and doing these assignments... it meant nothing to her. It wasn't that she thought Rosalie and Stephanie were bad people, it was just that she wanted something more. She wanted to suck the nectar out of life, and to enjoy it. She needed excitement - something to stretch her boundaries. But, what did that entail? Did it mean hunting monsters again? She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but something seemed array. Whatever it was, Vanessa needed to get her head straight before she continued telling this story. "Hey, can we take a break? We can get back at it in five minutes." She said in a low voice, before standing up and making her way out of her room. She walked over to the community bathroom and stared at herself in the mirror, pressing her hand against the reflection. "I think I'm going to lose my mind from this..." She sighed, before reaching to wash her hands. The sound of running water seemed to calm the girl down. "Dragons... huh?"

"Well for right now, we're just exchanging ideas and seeing what works. We have until next Monday to have this assignment done, so there's no need to worry if you're having difficulty coming up with something." Rosalie says, trying to help Vanessa relax. It didn't seem to help however, as Vanessa asks for a break and steps out of the room. She turns her attention to Stephanie. "Something's definitely bothering her, and I don't think it has anything to do with our assignment. Do you have any idea what it might be, Stephanie?" She wasn't sure if Stephanie knew anything. But since she had spent more time with Vanessa than Rosalie did, it couldn't hurt to ask.

She certainly wasn't good at the writing department. Writing songs was one thing but short stories had been a bit tougher for her. The idea of the people being human worked better. The antagonist could only have a sweet tooth or something but this was why they were meeting after all. Hammering out ideas and what not.

“I think that works better than what I was thinking, Vanessa.”

If she were a stronger writer she may have suggested splitting up the assignment after getting a brief outline where someone could do the beginning, another the middle and the last the end. If they mentioned where they were going to end but that could be tricky too.

Instead of one smooth voice for the writing there was three with distinctive writing styles were the material wouldn't flow as well as if they worked on it together. Vanessa seemed to be a little out of it, was it her idea or was there something else? This place could sap the strength out of anyone and she remembered how rattled she was when first learning of the darker nature of this place.

She was still rattled by it, of course, though only now was beginning to fight back after what she learned from Dendrite in the beginning. Turning to Rosalie she shook her head slightly as she thought.

There was the demon recently but nothing else sprang to mind and in comparison to their encounter with the slime the demon was easier to deal with. Perhaps there was something related to that.

“I think that she might need a bit of a break,” she looked to her bag that she had set down nearby and grinned at a thought before that grin slipped away. Looking back at Rosalie the fun loving Andrea did not hesitate after having considered it briefly.

“Do you wish to give her a bit of a break when she gets back?”

Vanessa tried not to spend too much time staring at herself in the mirror. She knew that she had some friends over at her dorm, and it would be awkward if she was gone for too long. In fact, she figured that she should come back with a new sense of energy to her. She no doubt knew that her friends recognized the sudden negativity in her. After puffing up her cheeks and padding them, the knight washed her hands and left the bathroom. She came back into the dorm and took a seat where she was normally. "Sorry, there was just something really annoying in my eye." She giggled, sitting criss-cross. She leaned forward, looking back and forth between the two. "So, did you guys come up with any new ideas?"
