Today, another batch of new students had arrived on the island. Typically, that meant there were new friends to be made, new things to be done, new places to get accustomed to. But from the perspective of the Marquis, that only had one meaning: Fresh meat. And now, after tailing the new students, the demon had chosen to follow one individual that had interested him. It wasn't just her size that caught his attention but rather the way she did not interact with others, as if she rather not bother with that.

And he did like the things that 'stuck out', the things that were out of the ordinary. The Marquis waited until night had fallen, until the newcomers had settled themselves away. Until they had gotten accustomed to being here at Shokushu. That and he rather liked attacking at nights, not during the accursed daylight.

Here, where the moon was out, he was at his strongest. He felt quite refreshed. He felt full, really. No fatigue, no tiredness, nothing to hinder his judgment or his ability. And so it was then that the Marquis had settled into his favorite form, that of a young, blond-haired man. Entering the building's hallway from a nearby window, Fornicarus straightened himself up and ensured his attire were in order.

And with several steps, he brought himself up to the student's door, knocking on it lightly as he formed a disguise in his mind to use in order to lower her guard against an ambush that he would surely spring. "Hello! I'm from Shokushu's faculty!" The demon spoke up, hoping it would get the girl's attention as well as put her at ease if it was only the school checking in on her.

A few of the more gregarious girls in the group of newcomers had directed some attempts at socialization her way, but Alexandra's polite disinterest was enough to send them elsewhere until she could distance herself from the group. She couldn't outright leave until orientation was over, though.

It was far from interesting, but she paid attention as the basics of her new situation were explained to her. Most of it didn't sound very appealing, but it also didn't sound very complicated.

Eventually Alexandra was shown to her room and left to her own devices. She puttered around for a while putting away her belongings away, but after that she wasn't sure what to do. She hadn't been allowed to bring a computer with her at all, even without internet access at the school. She had some books, but she'd read them all already. There was supposedly a quite well stocked library on campus, but she'd have to wait until the morning to look into that. Really, not much to do but go to bed.

She began to get changed for bed, pausing to look at the uniform she'd been given. She'd never been a big fan of skirts, and this one in particular didn't seem to actually be in her size. She had a feeling it was going to be shorter than she'd like, but nothing to be done about that at the moment, either.

And then she heard the knock on the door. Great, now what? After hearing a male voice identifying itself as belonging to a faculty member, though, she couldn't just ignore the visitor. "Yes, just a moment," she called out.

With a sigh she opened the door, being careful to compose her face before she could actually be seen. She was wearing a baggy gray t-shirt and loose fitting jeans, but there was nothing to be done about that now. She didn't particularly care about putting on a good impression, anyway. Just doing enough to not get in trouble.

Fornicarus smiled as he heard the student acknowledge him, and waited for her to come. It was a pity he hadn't learned anything about her when he had the chance; sneaking into the offices and pulling out files wasn't that difficult after all, and he did have plenty of practice with that. But then again, that just took all the fun out of it, and the demon was more interested in doing it the hard way.

As the door opened, Fornicarus took care to put on his best disarming smile, hands held behind his back. "Hello there, I'm here for the routine inspection of rooms, just to make sure students like you didn't bring anything that isn't allowed here." The man kept on smiling, appearing pleasant despite the fact what he had planned for her was far from it. "Alexandra Holt, right?

"Your room's the last one for the night, ma'am, so if you wouldn't mind? It shouldn't take long." Fornicarus had to admit that this female was rather cute in a different way than the others, more... tomboyish, really. And he hadn't quite come across one like that just yet. Ah, a first time for everything, the demon supposed. "Shall we get this over with so we can get back to our things?" The man shrugged, raising his wrist to look at a watch. "It's getting rather late and all, you know?

A frown flickered across Alexandra's face, but she fought for composure. It wasn't that she had anything that she thought would be considered contraband; she just wasn't comfortable with the idea of someone going through her things. Of course, she didn't really have any choice. "Yes, that's me."

She reluctantly stepped aside to allow the man to enter the room. At least he seemed to be in a hurry to get this over with, so perhaps he wouldn't be rifling through her things for too long. "Okay, do whatever it is you need to."

She stepped aside and stood with her back to a wall, arms crossed in front of her as she waited. Clothes, books, some personal knickknacks... Hopefully it wouldn't take too long. She hadn't brought any drugs or weapons, but she just had to hope he wasn't the type who'd find a lack of incriminating evidence as just a reason to investigate even more thoroughly.

Nodding, the man entered Alex's room and closed the door behind himself, his gaze looking around the room. He could see that she had brought this and that from home, along with books and personal effects, her uniform laid out. After a few moments of looking around some more and checking things off on a board he took out, the man leaned down to look under the bed before returning to his normal stance and scribbling off another check.

The demon, for the sake of his deception, went to check the bathroom as well, finding nothing of worth, and returned to the main room. "Everything looks good. No contraband or anything illegal at all." Then Fornicarus returned his gaze to the uniform. "I'm sure they told you of all the rules you need to be aware of, as well as the usual technicalities."

Placing his board down, the demon looked at Alexandra, who happened to be leaning against the wall. "One last question before I take off, have you tried on your uniform yet? I gotta make sure it's the right size, otherwise we'll have to get you a replacement before classes if it's too big or small." Fornicarus looked at Alex, the gist of his plan taking shape now.

Alexandra's eyes followed the man around the room as he made his rounds, her fingers digging into her arms slightly if he hovered for too long over any particular object. At least he was largely just looking at things. The bathroom didn't have much at all in it yet, though, so she was able to at least relax a bit when he went in there.

And then it sounded like things were just about over... until he put the clipboard down. "The uniform?" She glanced over at it. "No, I haven't actually tried it on yet. I, um, think it may be a bit small, though." She kept her focus on the garment, avoiding eye contact. This was not a subject she was fond of. And nervousness led to a bit of rambling. "Not a surprise, really. I mean, I don't think there's much call for uniforms in my size."

Fornicarus blinked as Alex began rambling somewhat. The demon could tell that she was getting nervous, as if she didn't want to quite begin a conversation, especially not over something like a uniform. The man moved back by the desk, leaning onto the chair, looking almost bored. "Yeah, well, this is routine so please try it on so we can confirm it for sure. We've had students complain about that when they just wanted a larger size."

The man tilted his head toward the bathroom. "Please don't take too long to put it on, I really do need to get back to my supervisor and check out." The man then stifled a yawn, appearing somewhat tired as if he had been working for a while now. "Sorry, haven't gotten enough sleep lately."

Alexandra's eye twitched slightly, but she decided that it would probably end up being less trouble to just get this over with than to argue about it. She scooped up the uniform and walked swiftly into the bathroom, closing the door perhaps a bit more forcefully than necessary.

Grumbling to herself, she slipped off her t-shirt, then reached down and slipped off her jeans, an easy feat with the loose fit. Underneath them she was wearing a plain, serviceable white bra and panties. She then set about putting on the uniform. The blouse fit well enough, although it was perhaps just slightly on the small side. The skirt, on the other hand, was probably meant for someone at least a few inches shorter than she was. It was long enough to cover everything absolutely necessary if she stood still, but it left more leg than she was comfortable with exposed, and it would probably be awkward if she had to move at any sort of speed.

Alex then opened the door, stepping out for the review. "See? I'm sure my measurements were sent over. Somebody probably just grabbed the biggest size they had ready at hand and hoped it'd fit."

The man looked over at Alexandra as she returned, looking over the uniform she had put on. Checking off something else on his board, the man shrugged and went toward the door, opening it. And without so much a look back at Alexandra, the man finished up with a somewhat rude statement. "Looks just fine to me." And left, the door closing behind him. Unknown to the student, though, the man had merely been the one to set up the stage for the real star of the show, the Marquis himself.

Quickly materializing into view right behind Alexandra, the demon smirked down at the young newcomer as her back remained directed at him, unaware of her approaching nightmare. Having discarded the tail and extra pair of arms, the Marquis had gone for the usual humanoid form. And as the monster grabbed Alexandra from behind, arms wrapping around her slender waist and preventing her from turning around to look at him, the Marquis growled in what was obviously a demonic-sounding voice. "And hello there, young lady."

Alex blinked in response to the man's statement, then just stared. By the time she had composed herself enough to have a retort he was already out the door. She gritted her teeth, glaring at the door, then started to turn to go back into the bathroom and pick up her clothes.

That was when a powerful pair of arms wrapped around her, pinning her to someone behind her and an unearthly voice spoke in her ear. It would take a few moments for actual fear to set in, until she actually understood the situation. For the moment it was just a matter of shock. There was nobody in the bathroom, she was just there!

And so the initial response from Alex was a yelp of surprise, followed by an angry shout. "Wh-what the hell is this?! Let me go!" She began to struggle, and that's when she looked down and actually saw the arms that were holding her and she froze. "What the fuck?!"

"No, I think I'll keep you, my dear." The unnatural voice spoke again from behind her, arms holding her a bit tighter as she was then lifted into the air all too easily. The demon began laughing as it brought her into her bedroom, depositing her back down onto her bed. With the girl now freed from his arms, the Marquis placed his hands on both sides of Alexandra, his monstrous face right in front of her own.

"Tell me, do you believe in demons, little girl?" And then the monster began laughing again as knees pressed down on the bed, Alexandra's legs trapped in between them, just as the demon grabbed the collar of her uniform shirt with both hands, tearing them apart in one fell swoop. "Don't worry, young lady. I can assure you completely that I am certainly not a figment of your imagination!"

Having to deal with someone with this much of a size and strength advantage over her was not common in Alex's experience. She was lifted easily and then tossed down onto her bed, and only then did she get an actual good look at her attacker.

Her mouth dropped open as she looked right into his face, her glasses not providing much in the way of protection. "This... this isn't real!" But, of course, her attacker begged to differ on that point. And whatever he was, he was dangerous enough to be able to tear her shirt open with ease, several buttons flying off as the edges of the fabric flopped open to reveal her bra.

Her lower body was pinned, but growing up when placed in tough spots (by a child's estimation, anyway), Alex had learned that there were some advantages to being big. And even now when she was facing someone even bigger, the instinct was to fight back. Maybe a punch wouldn't work, but...

Stretching out, a brief flash of thanks for her long reach flitting through her mind, Alex managed to just barely grab a lamp on the bedside table. The cord snapped free of the wall socket as she brought her arm up and around in a frantic attempt to smash the lamp into the side of the dem- her attacker's head. It had to just be some freak in a costume!

"Oh, very real, young lady. Very, very real!" Fornicarus grinned darkly, as the girl seemed to be starting to panic. And then came the lamp, smashing into his face. Now, that was rather unexpected, even for the Marquis. But it only amused him, laughter escaping his terrifying mouth as the attack unfazed him at all, smashing against the bone-hard face. "Sorry but you can't hurt a demon that way."

Now it was time to teach her a lesson in humility, for daring to strike a demon like the Marquis. Having a much larger hand than one would expect, the demon closed its hand around Alexandra's head, blackening out her world as he summoned his powers within, creating an illusionary world for her to endure through. Soon, everything faded away, her room, the entire building, the whole island, all of it feeling as if they were crumbling away.

And the student woke up lying on the cold ground in what appeared to be the ruins of an ancient castle, situated atop a high cliff and surrounded by desolate plains stretching from one horizon to the next, naught but emptiness for thousands of kilometers. And her poor uniform was in the same shape, torn down the middle, revealing her bare chest covered only by a single bra. And from behind, the same demonic voice came. "Welcome, young lady, to the middle of nowhere. Still think this isn't real?"

The smashing of the lamp brought Alex some momentary hope, but it was quickly dashed when it became apparent that there had been no real effect from it. At this point it occurred to her that screaming for help might be a good idea. She took a deep breath, but before she could cry out she was muffled by the massive hand pressing down on her face.

And then she was on a cold, hard surface, with the demonic voice speaking from behind her again. She scrambled to her feet, taking in her new surroundings. Her torn shirt was just an afterthought at this point. She quickly came to a conclusion, trying to stamp down the terror rising inside her. "This is a dream. Has to be. There's no way I could have possibly gotten to a place like this."

Alex crossed her arms in front of her chest, closing her eyes tightly and just standing still, refusing to look behind her. "This isn't happening, and I'm going to wake up any moment. C'mon, wake up. Wake up. Wake up!" A note of hysteria began to creep into her voice as she continued on.

The Marquis yawned, waiting for the student to finish freaking out. As amusing as this was, it wasn't rather enjoyable on his end. "Still here, young lady. Like I said, this isn't a dream at all." And the demon slithered around, bringing himself in front of Alexandra. "I've been in your room since that man entered. In fact, that man wasn't even real, just an illusion."

The Marquis began laughing, settling down as he watched the student. Time to see where this would go. "Tell you what, I'll make a deal with you, how about it?" The demon only grinned after that, waiting for her to take the bait.
