Faith couldn't sleep. She lay on the bed, pillow over her face and arms outstretched. She was bored and there was no way she was getting any sleep soon. She got to her feet, the pillow falling to the floor. Idly, she walked from her bed to the window, wrapping a robe around her to keep warm. She stared out of the glass for a while, trying to make out any shapes in the darkness. She didn't hear it comming. |
