With the approach of night, the campus was slowly falling into darkness. As yet the horizon was still orange, but the day's activity had wound down, most of the students having fled the twilit grounds for the relative safety of the buildings. Had always planned on a quiet night. The school suddenly hushed by a curfew, and she was left as per usual to her quiet dealings alone in her little dormitory. The spare bed still clean and bare, its end table and dressers still waiting for an occupent, someone that most likely wouldn't arrive for Hinata. After glancing to the black window she let her gaze wander to the kitchen. Still in her school uniform, wearing a white warm sweater because of the slight bitter cold outside. Far to used to the warm countryside at this time of year. In a sudden fit of frustration, she flopped back onto her bed and curled up into her blankets. Fingers fidgeting lightly with the hem of her skirt as she again let her eyes wander aound the room. "Boring place," she muttered. |

Dendrite skillfully pushed up the window, just in time to overhear the girl's exclamation. The monster had to hold back a dark chuckle as it readied itself...And then in one long movement the creature slithered over the windowsill and pounced forward, swarming up over the bed to hold itself above the recumbent girl. Felt a twinge of slight panic just after she spoke. Though she didn;t look over her shoulder. Instead rolled onto her stomach again, and buried her face into the bed once more.
