Poison... (For Beth)
Plague reclined on the roof of one of the myriad of dorm buildings as night fell. He felt like lord of all he surveyed, a cigarette hanging from his beak, poking through the bandages, cinders glowing as he tapped them out on the roof. A bottle of wine sat next to him, the red looking almost black in the orange glow of the sunset.
Nightfall was nice, it was a safe bet, if you will. At night he could generally assume that the girls would have retired to their rooms for the evening. At least while they were still classified as new arrivals they would. As time went on, when they realized what perfect targets they were therein, or they got better "acquainted" with their fellow students, things got tricky. For now, though, he could count on his target being in her room. At least, he hoped.
It hadn't taken long for Plague to hear that a new londoner had been spotted on the campus. He'd taken a liking to the inhabitants of the British Isles very early in their existence, something about them that put them a little notch above their less than stellar peers, though that wasn't to say they couldn't be right bastards like the rest of the race. He smirked, a series of little games running through his head as he pondered his actions for the night, waiting for the sun to fully fall.

Beth was lying on her bed listening to her favorite band, 'The Kaiser Chiefs' on her Ipod with an ear phones in each ear and the volume on full blast. She was dressed in her now crumpled school uniform. She hadn't had the energy or will to unpacked her luggage and change her clothes, best to leave that tomorrow she thought when she fully refreashed.
As she listened to the music her head nodded to the beat of the music. When the song ended she mumbled to herself, "these boys may be from Leeds but their good, hah I wonder if they could predict a riot here. They probably have more luck predicting when Leeds Utd will get promoted again." Beth sighs deeply, "God I need some excitement," as she played another song relaxing and letting the music take away from Shokushu High School for three minutes.

Swirling the amber liquid idly in the glass, he tilted his head back, tossing his cigarette off of the roof and allowing the wine to trickle down the back of his throat. Of course, it wasn't needed, he could survive entirely off of the meals he acquired at this wonderous hunting ground, but he enjoyed the wine. He had a certain taste for it that his fellow demons scorned. Such dependence on human manufacturing, after all, was to be looked down upon. But hard as he might try, he was wont to find a hell-made liquor that matched the particular boquette of a fine red bordelino.
"Ah... well..." he smiled, shouldering his backpack as he pushed the service entrance open, making his way down the utilitarian stairs and down to the living floors of the dorms. Girls who knew the nature of the island avoided him in the hallway, though granted, those who did not did so as well. His visage was one that practically begged avoidance, though that did not stop him from tilting his hat and smiling indulgingly at every student that eeked past him, back to the wall. His tattered coat hung about his ankles, swinging back and forth over his boots with the sound of clinking chains, yellowed eye poking out from a barrage of bandages covering his face.
He reached Beth's door after a quick jaunt around the floor, scoping out the area. Removing another bottle of wine with a black bow from his bag, he set it at the door to her dorm and snapped his fingers. The lights within her room flickered, hopefully getting her attention. Now that he assumed she was paying attention to her surroundings, he knocked loudly at the door and released his tentacles from his back, letting them pull him up into the ventilation system before she could open the door.

As Beth stretched out on her bed the lights in her room suddenly when out leaving her in complete darkness. In the darkness she shouted, " Great now this crap place can't even afford to pay the lighting bill."
Suddenly there was a knock on the her dorm door in the darkness, " If thats the electrician your too good be on this island," She got off her bed and shakerly made her way through her cluttered room towards the door, "you should go to the mainland mate with your speed your never be unemployed."
Finally Beth got to the door and stumbled to find the handle when she and she got the door open. It was fair to say that she was shocked by abscence of anyone or thing expect the darkness. Although in the darkness it self she thought she could make out a figure in the hallway right in front of her.

Plague kicked the bottle of wine with a battered boot, waiting in the shadows as he slunk away. He grinned as the black-ribboned bottle rolled into the light. So the trap was set. His bootheels resounded down the hall as he walked away from her, the vague outline of his cloaked form able to be seen in the dim amount of light streaming in through the windows, his shape actually discernable for a few brief seconds as he passed by them, the bandages the encircled his head cast into sharp relief against the blood that spattered them.
He figured on two paths she could follow at this point, though he knew humans as unpredictable and accounted for that by keeping his plans rough. She could either take the wine, or she could follow. If she didn't drink it, which he had to admit was a rather likely outcome, he would have to settle for plan b. If she followed, plan c would be in effect. If anything, Plague was a creature of preparation. No matter what the outcome, one could trust that he had something up his sleeve. Further, one could trust that whatever it was up there wouldn't be pleasant.

As Beth stood in the darkened hallway she heard a weird sound in the morbid darkness. It sounded like glass, yes a glass bottle landing unbroken on its side on the floor and as Beth streched her ear she could it was rolling towards her. Sooner rather than later Beth was shown to be right when a black bottle collided with her right foot.
Beth bent down and picked the bottle up in her hands and examined in what light she had. It seemed to be a black-ribboned bottle, but to Beth it looked so strange and dark. She stepped in the corridor outside her room and shouted down the dark hallway, "is there anybody there?" For a fleeting second she thought she saw something retreating into the darkness again, Beth started to walk slowly after the figure into the darkness.

He smiled as she followed him, a plan slowly formulating in his mind. He took note of her room number, fully intending to bring her back after he'd captured her, though that little part of the encounter promised to be quite amusing.
"Someone there?" he laughed softly, "No, of course not, that would be silly. Who would be roaming around these darkened halls at this time of night?"
He continued his walk, opening to door to the stairwell and taking a few steps within, flicking the lights on as soon as he would be out of her range of sight. Immediately afterwards, he lept up, tentacles snatching against the cold concrete walls. He waited above the doorway, arms up on the cieling above them and legs splayed about, anchoring himself to the wall, waiting to see if she'd decided to follow him into the stairwell. His hand made its way to the inner lining of his jacket, removing a small container of a rather powerful sedative.

As Beth walked down the hallway a voice answered her through the dim darkness "Someone there?" It said as it laughed softly, "No, of course not, that would be silly. Who would be roaming around these darkened halls at this time of night?" Beth was put off slightly by the strange voice but continued to follow it into stairwell. The flickering light lit up the dark corridor and Beth was drawn to it like fly to a candle.
