It was a beautiful winter night on the campus. Now, on this tropical island location, winter was more a relative thing. The seasons normal in North America weren't in any evidence, and instead what could be found was a rainy season, which just so happened to strike this particular island in the winter. It sometimes did get cold enough for snow, but today at least that wasn't the case. It was raining, and it showed no signs of stopping any time soon. The rain was heavy, thick, and endless, making the cement sidewalks run with water, filling the grass until it was moist, creating large puddles everywhere you looked. Antipode, naturally, didn't really mind. He was used to environmental conditions vastly more extreme than anything seen on most places on Earth, so this didn't really bother him at all. What he was interested in, however, was how the weather affected the patterns of the girls in the dorms. More were inside, which meant there were fewer situations where finding a single one was possible. However, it also meant that there were more inside alone in absolute terms, even if the ratio went much farther towards groups. He was in luck, then. He had found a room, and though he hadn't paid much attention to it... he knew that the girl to enter it, the girl whose room it was, had been chosen. He'd take her and do everything he felt like to the girl, in the safety and privacy of her own dorm room. He wasn't visible at the moment... technically you could even say he wasn't physically even there. His form existed only partially in this layer of reality normally, but he could hide it so easily that it was virtually effortless. |

The winter had been a mess that day, even though Ryu preferred rain as the general weather she hated how her clothes got soaked by sheer endless amount of water pouring down from the sky on her short way from the library back to her dorm. She got forced to study for an upcoming exam and this time she would study for it, no matter what would happen. Still, her little raid through the library wasn't that successfull, she just found a few books about the subject due others of her class already borrowed some from there. She made her way through the building, walking down the hallway to her dorm room while she tried to avoid others to notice her appealing manner of wet clothes. A long, black coat covered her whole body, but the water already made its way through it so her short and kind of thin looking black shorts and her completely white shirt were soaked as well. It was a strange feeling to feel the coldness around her as a shiver ran down her spine, she'd better change them quickly or would get ill because of it. Her room wasn't locked as usual, she forgot the keys somewhere and while she entered she looked around carefully with the intention to spot any possible invader. Ryu got surprised in her own room before so it was time to be very thorough. The walls had the usual color, as well as the rest of her room and there seemed to be no additional furniture. A sigh of relief left her before she suddenly closed the door and placed the bag hidden under her coat next to the desk which surprisingly found place next to her bed. |

Unfortunately, she hadn't been chosen by an entity for whom locks mattered all that much anyway, so it didn't really matter how carefully she looked, or even if she did have the ability to lock the door after all. It wouldn't have made any difference, and the result would have been the same. As it was, as she looked around carefully she'd find nothing amiss, for nothing had been touched, and you could technically say he hadn't really entered the room in the first place, yet. But that changed. While keeping their invisibility, a number of tentacles were soon in the room. They stayed away from her for now, but made sure to stay between her and her door. She was trapped and didn't know it. He wouldn't allow her to leave. But before she had a chance to leave on her own, he'd contact her. It was a few minutes after she'd entered the room, at a time when she'd finally feel safe (probably). But the first contact would be mental. A voice appeared in her head. It wasn't as if she was having a thought of her own... it was like a real voice. Only, it was obviously not her ears which were hearing it, but something directly entering her brain. If she listened carefully the lack of any actual sound would be noticeable. "Good evening. I hope I am not intruding too much." He spoke to her to gauge her reaction. Could he get her to cave in with a few words? Would she fight and struggle with everything she had? Depending on her temperment, his approach would have to change, from cajolement, to seduction, to outright force. For what he wanted was very simple: He was going to excite her sexually for as long as he wished, for that mental reaction was so deliciously pleasant to the rather psychic being. And though it was easier to do this when a girl gave in... well, the end result was pretty much the same any way he went, and outright force was a common tactic, one he happily used. |

She already managed to get rid off her coat, but decided to take care of her wet clothes later as she walked up and down in the room for some time before she stopped in front of the window and looked outside. The rain was a thing which calmed her down for a reason, it reflected her inner thoughts and spirit in a way if she was angry or felt sad in a way, like someone stroke a healing ointment directly into her mind. But this time there was something else she heard in her mind as she still looked into the pouring rain. Ryu didn't move after she heard the voice inside her mind, the girl didn't appear frightened though but from her view it had been something she didn't expect as she entered her room this time. The redhead analyzed her possibilities, she could either fight and keep the tiny amount of dignity which was left inside her even though she'd lose in the end no matter what she did, or she could simply give up and accept to anything the obvious monster would like her to do. Both possibilities had their own benefits, but she wasn't used to give up so easily. Turning around slowly and staring into the room it seemed like there was no one, but something like her sixth sense told her there was another being around even though she wasn't able to spot it. Maybe it was just her slight paranoia again, she always had those symptoms recently if she felt being watched. While her clothes began to dry she decided to check if it was just her or if there was something else inside as she expected. Her kind of strong, but still soft voice responded to her thoughts. You are hiding and that's something I would call intruding, so your hope is misplaced. |

"Yes. I suppose it is." No sense in playing around, really. He might be somewhat polite, but Antipode's formality was a veneer over a level of force no less than that of any other monster. Well, that and the fact that he held no malice either, which was something, at least. He did not yet appear, the room remained quiet as he spoke once more. In fact, there was no hint there was anything in her room at all, even now. "If I was hiding, however, I wouldn't inform you of my presence. No, it's more that I've really just arrived, at least to your room. But I'll show at least a portion of myself to you." Now, however, there WAS something in her room. A dozen tentacles, to be precise. Where they came from was hard to tell. They seemed to come from everywhere, and their stating points were oddly difficult to discern. Yet there was one thing clear about them: They were between her and the door. Yet they did not approach quite yet. After all, he was not yet certain how she would react. If it was a fight, then he'd act immediately... but a few more words were needed, just a few, before deciding upon the proper method of subdual. "At any rate you do not seem terribly surprised. I presume you have met others like me." |

Of course it is, no need to suppose. The girl hadn't been surprised as she heard the voice again and even though he seemed to be patient with her in a way, it was quite strange for her to do nothing as a dozen tentacles showed up and blocked the distance between her and the door. She didn't pay any time to look where they came from which would be difficult anyway, instead she decided to look for another exit or at least a possibility to fight before she'd lose. While it seemed they wouldn't approach her abruptly, she decided to move over to her desk to set up something like a blockade with the table. Her feet slowly carried the student over to the desired side of the room as she decided to speak, no matter how stupid her attempt to get something like a defense which was doomed to fail anyway. You're right, there were several encounters I had, but I guess it doesn't matter at all. Ryu thought she may be able to use the chair next to the desk as well to distract the tentacles in a way which would lead to a small time window she had to escape. After all she guessed he'd capture her before she even managed to open the door due the tentacles would most likely be too many for a simple chair to take care of, but this time there were no wepons around, so it was everything her room had to offer. |

She was obviously on guard, quite clearly not ready to just give up, lay down and take it. Oh, well, that wasn't much of a problem. After all, the result would be the same regardless. His goal, however, wasn't something too horrific, so one last statement before he simply took her would be appropriate. Perhaps he'd had less patience then he did in the past. Perhaps it was the girl. But he figured he wasn't going to end up hearing this one's life story, so why worry about buttering her up? "Well, it does matter, I'd say. Not everything on this island has the same goals... and I haven't spied on you, so I don't know what you've experienced. But you know enough for me to just tell you the details. No need to speak delicately: You should notice I am communicating mentally. Well, I can also feel emotions, and thoughts as well as send them. And the feeling of your pleasure... well, it has an amusing effect, and I am not at all interested in your pain or anger or anything else." He hoped that was clear. With her knowledge of what he wanted, and what he intended, and what he wasn't interested, she could make her decision to fight or surrender with full and clear understanding of what she was getting herself into. Not that she'd be able to avoid it one way or the other! However, if she assumed just because he wasn't interested in pain that he wouldn't cause it to force what he desired, then she was sorely mistaken. |

It was a hard decision. The oppurtunity to give up and take the pleasure she'd receive by him while he used her for his own needs was quite inviting, but to fight and lose anyway or just make an attempt to resist him seemed quite interesting as well. The dozen tentacles between her and the door would make it impossible to flee, so she guessed it would be better for her to give up and take it. But her self confidence kept her from doing this every now and then, others already convinced her to do it voluntarily but this time she would force him to take her with his own force. That's very interesting. You remind me of someone I encountered already, so I guess I can deal with your 'mental abilities'. Well, show me what you got. I won't just run into your tentacles or fight you with something useless like a chair, so it is your turn to get me. Of course it would be easy for him to grab her due she suddenly stopped moving to her desk, it would be a useless attempt to fight him with nothing like a real weapon, so the thought to get caught would be an inevitable fact. No matter how much she disliked to get captured like a helpless victim, she was quite confident there were no firearms around to at least harm the monsters. Her eyes focussed the tentacles due she expected them to attack her first, she would do something against them but in the end her efforts would be simply exhausting if he was going to do what she expected him to do. |

Well, then. She knew it was useless, and wasn't going to fight with something that didn't seem to offer any hope... but she seemed prepared anyway, at least to exhaust herself fighting in any method possible. He had several ways of dealing with this situation: First, he could do as she anticipated and launch a frontal attack, which would naturally be seen, since he didn't wish to move those tendrils quickly enough to scare her. Or, he could send those hidden tentacles from right near her, below her feet and behind her back, to snare her from behind. From there, he could let her tire herself out as the other tendrils slowly approached, making her watch as they reached her and began undressing her for as long as he felt like drawing it out for. Instead, however, he could do something else and make a game where none had been. She seemed deterred due to her lack of weapons. Well... that was no fun. What thus appeared in front of her, laying on her table right next to her was a sword. It materialized out of seemingly nothing at all, and its shape was perfectly suited. It's size, and if she held it, it's weight, were perfectly in tune with her own strength and size. Its blade was an unusual thing, not of metal but of a translucent black material, which let light through, yes, but it bent it and colored it differently than one would expect. It made a rainbow out of whatever colors were shown, or muted colors where they were bright before, when they passed through that odd, sharp blade. While this was there, nothing else moved, and the tendrils did not approach. "I'll be honest, if you feel like wearing yourself out fighting me, perhaps it would be better to give you something to fight with. I promise that this blade can cut through any tentacles you encounter. And it will not lose its edge before long after you have grown tired, I assure you. Take it up if you like... or give in or try to run, it does not matter. I give you twelve seconds to choose, before I begin." (in other words, next post he attacks, no matter what she chooses! ) |

Something she didn't expect at all surprised her as a sword appeared right on her desk. It didn't look that heavy and obviously would fit the student perfectly, but the idea to fight him with something he summoned seemed odd, but after all it would be a chance to do something against her new encounter. Maybe she wouldn't be successfull, maybe it was just a game for him to stay entertained before he decided to overwhelm her, it didn't matter. Her behaviour to struggle against someone forced her to analyze every possible way to flee and this one was obviously the wisest choice. As the tentacles stayed in place and he mentioned Ryu would have about twelve seconds to make a choice, her arm quickly seized the sword while her left shoulder pointed towards the tentacles and she got a better defense stance, at least it won't give him more than necessary space to attack. She started wondering why the sword fit her so well, it was like she held a perfectly balanced masterpiece in her hand. Both hands began to hold on to the sword as her eyes flickered around and focussed the tentacles again. I guess I can at least fight for some time before you prevail and for now I'd like to cut some of your appendages if you don't mind. Her will analyzed the tentacles, if they'd begin to move it would make up a plan and eventually discover which way they are going to take if they are approaching her, not the best method but her lack of skill to fight with something like a sword wouldn't allow her more than that. She remained silent as the seconds passed, waiting for the final twelve and her kind of exhausting conflict which would just force her to give up in the end. But for now she was going to fight to give her some more seconds in freedom. |

The being counted down himself silently, not informing her in words when the time was up, but trusting her to understand. It was more than enough time, from his perspective, for her to make her choice and so she did, choosing to take up that blade and fight him for as long as she could. He'd have to be careful here. Let her play to her aggression too long and she might very well lose heart, or at least lose that energy that would be necessary for what he intended. He was not a quick lover, and his ministrations would last as long as she could. With her words, the time was over half-way done already. As she prepared herself, so did he. He could snatch her immediately from behind, end this here and now... but that wouldn't be fun for her, would it? His intent wasn't to harm her in any way, and such disappointment would only cause more trouble. So it would be a frontal assault, then. The tentacles moved, their intent clear. They aimed to surround her now, several moving directly towards her. This first volley was simple. Two tendrils, moving at a speed that might appear rather rapid, but was in fact easily slow enough for her reaction time and level of skill to allow a clean strike. In fact, it was slow enough, and clear enough, to prove a vital test of her abilities. Though he didn't expect great skill, he, at least, expected her to cut through these tentacles at least. This would last only as long as she could keep up... but he wasn't going to make it too easy for her. "Keep in mind, I will not give you a second chance. If you fail at the beginning, then I will capture you and I will do as I will. Regardless, though, this way I may end up damaging your clothes. I hope you don't mind." |

Post subject: | Re: A Long Awaited Meeting (Ryu) |
Her attempt to fight seemed rather odd and stupid in the beginning, of course he would be able to defeat her just because of his stamina and his advantageous tentacles in a couple of seconds. Why did he give her a chance to struggle against him? She was nothing but an obstacle for him to reach his goal and he may be able to summon more tentacles in any corner of her room, was it even possible for a regular student just armed with a sword to win against such a creature? Ryu's thoughts got interrupted as her eyes catched a movement in front of her. The tentacles began to approach the redhead, she was confident he could simply beat her but after all it may just be a game of him but she would use the chance to find an outlet for her aggression. The first two seemed to be a little faster than the others, so she made a step forward with her right foot just as her arms led a blow to the top left of her. It had been enough for the blade to cut through them and they fell to the ground as expected. While others already began to surround her she would take care of the others which were directly approaching her first. I expected you to say that, it doesn't matter at all. Pretty much used to torn clothes and stuff, you know? Ryu directly continued her movement without hesitation and made another step forward with her other foot to use enough force to cut through the others as well while her arms did the movement she wanted them to do, the sword was swung to the bottom right and obviously hit two other tendrils again, even though she was close to her starting position the force she used would take some time for her to correct her position, the small time window would allow him to attack her more easily but she may be able to recover her stance first. |

Post subject: | Re: A Long Awaited Meeting (Ryu) |
When she 'heard' his voice in her mind, Antipode would sound... almost offended. "You should be aware that I do not intentionally damage any girl's clothing. I am very careful with them. However... a situation like this, accidents may occur, for I cannot see the future. It was merely a warning of accidental damage. I am not going to merely rip your clothes off of you like a beast in the field." With that, the monsters tendrils attacked again. Where did they come from?! At least four tentacles were already chopped away, and retreated from view entirely. But more attacked, in that moment of imbalance. He knew that he could beat her here and now, and protect her precious clothes from any damage. Yet he wished to see just how well she could do first. This was, after all, for her benefit. So the attack was fair, and it was fast... but it wasn't too fast. Faster, perhaps, than the first real assault. And its angle was strange as well, coming as it did from her side, partly, but not quite, to her back, on the side that was not being favored. With her weight more on the other side, this attack might be dodged. For it just so happened that it was still near enough that her eyes could see it as it began. If the girl could regain herself, she could surely defeat this attack. Yet could she regain herself first? For the only way she could beat it would be that, to rebalance herself, and also do so in such a way that she didn't move much closer to the tentacle attacking. And that wasn't even the only concern. For it was one of three, for which it served as the vanguard. The other two waited, and a moment later -a moment perhaps, just barely, long enough for her to strike against the first- the second one struck, followed by the third shortly thereafter. Antipode was not planning on making this easy on her. But if she defeated those strikes... then she'd see something interesting. In their attempt to surround her, and the loss of four-to-seven tentacles in various assaults, there would be an opening. A small opening, one that would last only an instant... but his movements, his attacks, would definitely leave that opening. The door was unguarded. |

Unnecessary waste of time to talk to him any longer... She thought as her eyes captured other movements in her still awkward position. Ryu would have to act quickly with the tentacles approaching her from impractical sides of her view of things if she intended to avoid them. The girl used her uncomfortable position to make a roll and managed to stand up and turn herself around with her remaining momentum and swung the blade against the tentacles which quickly dropped to the ground as it cut through them and while she managed to get a better stance as well. Her pose had been worse than expected and that's why she decided to make a roll to increase the distance between them and regain her solid state again. It gave her enough time to rebalance herself and to struggle against him as well. The monster obviously still intended to have some more fun with her as another tentacle approached her just before the last one next to the redhead began to attack her as well. It would be hard to perform two quick sword strokes to get rid off them as well, but while she performed them she reminded herself of the pretty well formed sword as blade cut through them easily as well. To perform this any longer would possibly cost her most of her energy, but the sudden view at the door she was able to receive made her quite confident about it. The tentacles made an attempt to surround her and forgot to guard the door which would lead to her freedom if she managed to be fast enough. Ryu quickly began to sprint towards the door and managed to set up a high speed for human settlements before she reached it, she still paid attention to the tentacles as she was about to turn around the knob of her door when her hand reached out for it. |

Perhaps talking to him was a waste of time for her. But for him, it was practically essential. After all, since he wasn't raping her yet, he figured she owed him some nice conversation. Besides, he liked talking to the girls like this, getting to know them a little bit and learn a little more about what made them tick. Sure, he could delve deeply into their minds and read down to the very closest details, but that would be something akin to reaching into the source code of a pleasant video game. Unless you're incredibly interested in the specific foibles of how various aspects of the program were completed, and not the game itself, you'd be very bored, even if you were looking at the code of the greatest game you've ever placed. And while Antipode was quite skilled at modding, to continue the metaphor, he much preferred the game. Or in this case the girl, and her personality. And long boring analogies aside, he didn't reply right that moment anyway. He was more interested in the game at hand, seeing just how far this girl could go and how long she could last. Though he could end the game the moment things seemed dangerous (for her! He wasn't in any real danger) it was more fun to see her go. And go she did. Right through the door. It would open without any difficulty... and for a moment, Antipode decided to let her believe she had freedom. But what she'd find was that just making it to the hallway wasn't nearly enough. For at this time of night, all he had to do was seal the other rooms, at least for the moment, cutting off sound and any method of communication from those rooms for the brief few minutes she would be out there, and there'd be no real escape. Oh, and what she would find is that she was surrounded anew. There were tentacles in the hallway... half a dozen long, winding, coiling ones in each direction. What was she to do now? |
