Vera had questions but she found them impossible to ask. She could ask or beg that this creature leave her alone but the thought of her leaving made her feel an empty sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. The Head Girl had no choice but to comply with this creature's wishes until the monster was satisfied. "We... Lets just get this over with..."
