"Find the measure of angle BAC if the measure of angle BAD=75, the measure of angle BAC=3x and the measure of angle CAD=2x. Ah, simple. 45," Aleace mummbled, busily doing math homework she had recieved earlier on. She didn't exactly hate geometry, but it wasn't challenging whatsoever and it became more of a choir everytime she entered into the classroom. Now in the library, her mind had begun to wonder in other places, mostly towards typical things like what she wanted to eat for a snack, or how should go about making friends... "I am way to perky for people to become my friends," she answered herself and chuckled. Maybe she was abit upbeat, but that didn't mean she wouldn't be able to make friends. She looked up and watched the librarian walk out into the hallways. She quirked a brow in curiousity. Why would she leave the library unattended? She shook her, not delving into the thought and went back to work. |

Ryujin crept along the ailes of the library, watching the girl as she studied. His hunger ws gnawing away at him and he needed to catch a student to slake the intense lust within him. He would have taken her but the librarian would have made problems. There were other girls he knew were alone, though quite some distance away. He was about to walk out and make his way to one of them when he caught the librarian leaving. "That changes everything" he thought to himself. He moved down to the end of the ailes and removed a few books from the shelves. Quietly he placed a few books on the side to place a 'Lust' ofuda on the inside of the shelf. He moved to each corner of the cluste of shelves, placing an ofuda at each one forming a large square formation. With that he activated the paper charms and created another illusion. "Excuse me, I need some help putting some boks away." Aleace would see a mousy, diminuitive girl with braided pigtails and pair of extra large glasses planted on her nose. (sorry that took so long. my dad needed some help moving the furniture.) |

((Quite alright. ^^)) She looked up from her book to the girl, whom was apparently having trouble with putting some books away. She could clearly see there was a small pile behind her and must have wanted her to help because of her height. "Oh. Alirght then," she replied and got up. She followed the girl a few steps, but a small sticky note of some sorts caught her eye. Her mind registered what the piece of paper was and began backing away. This was a trap. She could already tell it was and looked to the girl that turned around in puzzlement. She remmebered they did...something... "H-hey! Little girl! Get out there! Those are ofudas!" she warned the girl, her English accent playing fittly on her tongue as she spoke now, beyond stressed the little girl might get hurt. She pointed at the one clearly viewable, to show her she needed to run out as quickly as possible. Her eyes scanned to see three other that formed a moderatly large square in the area. What did they do exactly? She read it in a book, she knew what it was, but what the bloody hell did it do, again?! "Get out now!" she warned again, wondering why the girl was not listening to her. She didn't seem affected by the trap and was still looking at her confusedly, but she knew deep down, she knew for a fact that these were magic using items. Something....something used in early Japan by priests! Okay. Atleast she knew the origin, but she didn't quite understand what affect they were suppossed to have. Some...sort've trap. But by whom? Who could use these things that take up so much energy and have plenty more to use? How did this person get a hold of such a rare piece of magic in the first place?! I've never even seen an ofuda in real life! |

To say that Ryujin was surprised would be an understatement. No one, especially not a student on the island could have known about his charms. But somehow this girl knew of them. Even if not their function, she knew of his charms; charms he had never taught or spoke to anyone else about. There was no choice now, he had to take her and question her. The girl her had conjured up looked at Aleace, "What? What's wrong?" she walked over to her and looked at the charm, "What that? That's one of the protective charms the librarian put up to ward off demons. She's very supersticious you know." As the girl spoke to Aleace, Ryujin began moving toward the two, keeping himself hidden with illusions. |

To just ignore her own screaming mind would be the most foolish thing she could ever do. Her mind was in a fix, arguing with another part that said it might be okay. The librarian? Hmmm, maybe. She probably does read, or it would kind of ironic that she didn't while she handed them out on a daily basis. But how in the world did she get a hold of these?! Sighing with frustration, she decided to take the chance. She stepped into the square and cringed, waiting for it to wreak hacvic on her body. But nothing came. She opened one eye and looked puzzled. It...wasn't doing anything? "Huh?" she bluntly asked, and looked to the girl. It would appear she overeacted and was now the fool infront of this girl. "Oh. Well...cannot be to careful," she sheepishly explained, and walked over next to the girl. In any reason, might aswell help her now since she made a complete fool of herself. "So. Which books do you need help with might I ask?" she asked softly, trying to forget the memory of what she had just done. How emberrassing, though she'll admit she felt a small tingle in her chest, it was proably nothing and was easily ignore...for the time being. |

Ryujin's ploy had worked perfectly. She had dropped her guard and entered the field created by the charms. It was so ironic that the trust between students always seemed to be their undoing. He kept progressing toward the two discreetly, hiding behind shelf after shelf, concealing his presence by projecting books piled lazily on top of each other to cover the space between board and book. By the time he was in reach of his target, they had nearly finished replacing the books save the two or three that belonged on the shelf just out of their reach. With no need to hide himself any longer, he took the book from her, "Let me help you with that." |

Feel accomplished, she reached up to place the last book away. Unfortunatly, it was met with a very scaley, very smooth hand. She withdrew her hand on instinct and backed away slowly. A massive, sharp-tongued lizardman was right there infront of her, holding the book she had moments ago. Oh no, not again. This actually was a trap. She cursed her foolishness, now understanding these monsters were highly intelligent and could outwit her at any given time. She backed against the other side of a book shelf and tried very slyly to sneak away. "That's alright. Y-you can keep it," she replied, her accent still played on her tongue, and continued to try and edge away. Oh heavens, please let her get away. She adverted her eyes over to the girl she had been talking to and looked to see what her reaction in all this was... |

"Hmph." was all he said be walking back to the side of he shelf. Reaching into his vest, he removed a blank ofuda. Showing it to her he inscribed 'Bind' to it, the japanese lettering appearing on the charm right before her eyes. He lifted her a few feet higher off the ground and held her against the shelf. He pressed the ofuda to her wrists, "Bind" and the ofuda attached itself to the shelf, holding her in place in an unbreakable grip. "As you can see, the charms on the shelves are mine. Now, I want you to explain to me how you knew my paper charms were a danger." |

She is extremely glad she isn't afraid of heights. She watches as he inscribes the binding ofuda and binds her to the shelf. She listens intentlly on what he asks and seems dumbfounded. "It isn't like they are never recorded in books. I have read some history over the feudal Japanese and how priests used to use them to exorcise demons that vexed a house or person," she replies, being point blank to the lizard. Maybe if that is all he wanted, maybe he would let her go. How ironic these holy pieces of paper were now used by demons to bind humans. As the lizard registers what she says, amybe this would be a perfect time to try and get free. Mummbling some words under her mouth, her hand begins to glow with a beautiful white light. It slowly turns into a thin like whip and she flexes her hands to the ofuda, trying desperatly to burn the piece of paper that bound her. It didn't anything else, except for maybe the shelf as she continued to miss, being at a such an angle as she was. But as she seemed to ge the hang of it and might just break free, the whip dissolves. Her eyes are wide, understanding how her body was somehow...someway being aroused and it was now just giving off heat in her groin. What? I-I can't concetrate like this. What's wrong with my body?! Questions filled her head as she tried to conjure the thin line of light again, but it was of noo used. Her magic was being drained into her body to go directly into her heated abdomen. "The paper charms made by priest are nothing like mine. Only demons are affected by their charms, hence they are the only ones who would feel any sort of threat from them. To you they would be nothing more than pieces of paper. However, you felt that something was amiss when you saw them." he informed her backing away from her face. It would seem his fears were unfounded. In her inexperience she mistook his charms for the common ones used by the priesthood. He sighed softly in relief when he heard her mumble something and a white light appeared at her hands. It soon formed a whip like shape trying to get at the charm that bound her, albeit with little success. It was gone almost as soon as it came however. He watched as she frustratedly attempted to reform her magic, to no avail. "That would be the effect of the ofudas you saw on the shelves. I'm afraid that when they are not applied directly to the body, their effect is much slower, albeit much more subtle." he said getting down on his knees to poke his maw under her skirt. "Well, I never said I knew to to much about them. But those being put in a square out of nowhere told me I should stayaway...I wish I had listened to it," she said and still struggled in her wrists. The Bind spell was all to familiar, but priests were never horny when using these, so that really caught her off guard with the ones around in the square.
