Backstage at the Recital (Katarina Marseilles)
(Again I do apologize for taking so long)
He wasn't interested in the music, or the costumes, or the show that was being put on. Well, he wasn't until he saw the flyer for it that sported one of the students and her violin. The picture on the side of the flyer was one of many students, but it had her sitting on top of a piano, her legs stretched down so her tip toes rested against the bench. Her eyes were closed and she was in mid stroke over the strings of her instrument with the bow. He wasn't exactly sure what it was about her, but he was instantly drawn.
The day before the show, he had slipped into the auditorium and taken to the rafters and their enveloping shadows. He lingered there and idly watched as the crews worked back stage to get everything set. The program was scheduled to showcase the brightest talents in voice, musical instruments, and acting. The star he had his eye on was going to be the last on stage which worked all the better for him. By the time she was in her dressing room, most of the others would already be packed up and getting ready to leave, if they hadn't already.
When the night of the show came, he watched intently from the rafters. Crew and students were zipping every which way backstage, while the staff and other students watched from the packed house. For him, it was an agonizing wait, he'd spotted his violin player in the wings and wanted nothing more than to snatch her up then and there. To drag her up into the rafters and deny the school of her performence. But, if he did that, then all eyes would be on the rafters between her being lifted into the air by a set of tentacles, and followed by her screams and pleasured moans. No, now wasn't appropriate.
Timye patiently waited through all of the student's acts until the curtain closed. He followed her from above, his eyes never parting from her form as she moved through the students back towards her dressing room. Again, he'd need more patience unless he wanted to drag several more students in there as well. He let the panels on his back open up, and from the biologic mass, two tentacles extended. They wrapped themselves around part of the rafters in preparation for his descent once more of the students had cleared out.
Time didn't matter to him, so he didn't much pay attention to how much had passed, he just knew that his prize had not yet left her dressing room. His head pivoted and scanned the back stage area. There were a few others left, but he'd be able to drop down and remain hidden thanks to several clothing racks and pieces of set that were between them. But his head stopped for a moment as he saw what laid on one of the makeup tables. A bouquet of roses. Another tentacle slithered out of his back and dropped down. It coiled around the red cellophane that contained them as it began it's way to her dressing room door.
When the tentacle reached the door, it rapped against it several times. Though, the knock wasn't solid as if it were made by a knuckle, it was a softer thud-thud-thud. The moment after it knocked, it let it's coils unfurl from the roses, and drop them, right in front of the door. Quickly, it retracted and moved back towards it's body and master, it's length soon disappeared back into the mass from which it came. Now was the time.

Re: Backstage at the Recital (Katarina Marseilles)
((Apologies for the delay, a new semester just started here.))
The performance was a rousing success. Her mind played over the audience’s reaction over and over again as a very contented smile spread across her face. While Katarina had been a bit apprehensive at being the solo grand finale to a concert, she was glad that she’d gone through with it now. She was almost literally glowing in the wake of the audience’s applause and demand for an encore, a demand that she had acquiesced to. Her mind was still swimming in the torrent of excitement and exhilaration when she realized the noise beyond her dressing room had faded and she was probably one of the last ones left backstage. She took one last look at herself in the mirror, appreciating the floor-length, bright red dress and the memories that came with it. A slight, rather strange knock at her door called her attention away from her reflection, “I’ll be right there!” she called, smiling and twirling in front of it before going to the door. She opened the door slightly and immediately took notice of the bouquet resting at her feet…and the lack of a person with them. An anonymous admirer perhaps, she wondered, a thought that only made her smile brighten anew.

Re: Backstage at the Recital (Katarina Marseilles)
He heard the muffled call from behind her door and shifted his weight in anticipation. His body tensed, the tentacles tightened their grip on the supports. Timye's head turned from side to side as he scanned the back stage area once more, he was still in the clear. Then the door cracked open and he saw her peek from it, her head angled down towards the flowers. Even better, he'd suspected she'd have changed already, or would be wrapped in a robe, but no, she was still in that wonderful red dress that accentuated every curve and gave her an even more elegant look.
He flexed his fingers as he watched her, waiting for the right moment, but even monsters get antsy from time to time. He swung himself forward to bring himself closer to her door as the tentacles lowered him down slowly. When he was a few inches her door, the tentacles unraveled from the supports and his body dropped to the floor, a foot on either side of the roses. One hand shot out to the top of her door while his other plucked the flowers from the floor.
The hand on top of the door pushed it open a bit ore, enough for him to slip inside. In the same motion as the door swung, he crouched down a bit and moved into her dressing room. He didn't really care if she tried to run, after all, where could she go? His bulk blocked the only exit, and if she didn't want to be barreled over by the door, or him, she'd have to back up. As soon as he was int he room, the door shut behind him and he crouched down in front of it.
His head cocked a bit as he looked over her wrapped int he red material. He sat there still and silent for a few long moments before his hand stretched out with the roses.
"Such beautiful music you make..."
