While most students did not appreciate it, Shokushu High School had quite a beautiful greenhouse. It was there for the sake of classes. Botany, biology.. such things cannot be studied without proper specimens. Granted, the island itself was a treasure of plants of many kinds, but not everything thrived there. Hence, the need for a greenhouse.

The school had made sure it was beautiful as well as useful, though, with its collection of gorgeous flowers. Most students did not visit much, though. Small wonder, who would stay indoors with all those beaches waiting outside.

Pia did appreciate it, though. Granted, Pia would love to go outdoors more often, perhaps catch some sun, go roller-blading, or go for a swim, but she also knew that was dangerous, and unless she was sure she could go where others where there was witnesses to a possible attack, she rarely went anywhere.

She hated being cooped up indoors too long though. Hence the greenhouse. Not many girls meant no monster would bother either, or so she thought. So she saw this place as her safe place. Often, like today, she spent her lunches here, reading a book.

Pia was sitting on a bench, next to a dam with waterlillies, and a bed filled with pungent, large flowers. Pia was not sure of the species, but they smelled wonderful. She herself was dressed in a school uniform, as usual. Her hair was in pigtails, with fuzzy pink and yellow scrunchies.
Her shoes, a new pair of sneakers, were also yellow. Her above knee socks were in soft pastels, with a touch of lime and sunflower, with vague floral patterns. A splash of color against the monotony of school uniforms.

The air seemed especially heavy with floral scents today, Pia noted. She liked it, the feeling of life around her. She stared into the air, sipped a little of her smoothie, then returned to the book.
"Oh.. chapter seems like it is getting steamier with each page..", she said to herself.

Second only to the wide and lush jungle on the island, the greenhouse was Flora's favorite place. There, it was filled with other plants, none like herself of course -otherwise the greenhouse would be popular for far different reasons- but it felt like a second home for her. Often she would just curl up within the deep flowers and mosses, feeling comforted when she hasn't caught much for a while. And as part of the reason she was here, relaxing among her own kind, and trying to find a time when students were here, Flora had been here for most of the day already.

Deep amongst the twining ivy crawling up one of the walls, Flora had attached herself to a trellis as a vantage point. Not surprisingly, feeling so comfortable there, she had fallen asleep up in the ivy, and when she awoke, she was gleefully surprised that there was a student below, down a short ways off on a bed of flowers, next to the flowing dam. Flora smiled happily, but still tired, she wasn't going to try and catch her newfound prey by force. At least, not yet. She was going to see what all the prey would do, and how long it would take for her to catch on.

To begin her toying, she tipped her bell a bit, pouring the strawberry scented contents into the water near the student, adding to the wonderful aroma of the greenhouse. She poured out about half of the formerly near overflowing bell into the water before ceasing, and moving on. On a shelf a short ways from the student was a row of flower pots, each devoid of flowers but full of rich and ready dirt. Flora extend her vine fingers stealthily and burrowed into each of the flower pots from the bottom, creating bulbs at the end of each of them, and pushing up a small sprout from each of the five flower pots. Flora smiled and watched the student with excitement, ever eager to see the students fall for her tricks.

Oblivious to the strange plant hidden among the more mundane greenery, Pia continued reading the book. While reading, she sucked intently of the straw, letting it sink in between her lips, then slide slowly halfway out again as she slurped up the last of the smoothie. A small, pink drop of the liquid had collected on her round lower lip, making it glisten slightly. Without even thinking, she licked it off, her tongue tip trailing the smooth curve of lips.

The blonde girl did not immediately notice the strawberry scent, perhaps because it mingled so easily with the flavour of her drink. As she put aside the empty canister, she did notice a change in the air.
"Mmmm..", she said to no-one, pulling in air with her nostrils. "Oh my.. the flowers do smell good today.."
It was a pleasant scent, and Pia took a deep breath, making a delighted little sigh as she did so. At the same time, she stretched a little, showing of a little more of her body, and trusting her bosom forward. She settled back on the bench, changing her position so she could read with the book on the bench. Her position did emphasize her curves and legs, even more so as her movement had caused her skirt to slide up, revealing a little of the place where her round buttocks met her shapely thigh.

"It is hot here today.."
Pia loosened her tie a little, then kept on reading, playing a little with her pigtails as she did so.

It was not just that the greenhouse was hot. The book was getting more risqué as well. It appeared that the relationship between the heroine and her bisexual vampire ally was heading towards a new level..
While Pia might give away an impression of innocence most of the time, she was getting a bit aroused. And when she got aroused, her inner essence, her mana reacted. It would be almost impossible for someone to detect, unless they had sensed someone with magical powers before, but it was there.. An inner glow, hidden inside her body and mind.
