Narcoleptic (for Antipode)
She was escorted to the nurse's office and it was not the first time that Bria had been here this week. Her teachers knew of her problem and there were things that were deemed to dangerous for her too do without strict supervision least she fall asleep suddenly while doing so.
This had been her third time in two weeks in falling asleep in her creative writing class though it was a passion of hers and the work was always swiftly made up. Bria excelled at writing and it might have seemed unusual for a published author to take such a course but Bria was always looking for a reason to polish off her skills and add to them. Not just that but she enjoyed hearing or reading about some of those things that she could not do.
The first time she fell asleep in class she was allowed to sleep as was the case the second time around but she woke after the next class arrived and well, freaked out rather badly. So on this occasion she was brought to the nurse when attempts to wake her were met with limited success as she simply fell asleep again.
So Nancy draped an arm over her shoulder as she made her way to the nurse's station with her. It was far more difficult then she had imagined though finally she was dumped off. She was placed on the familiar couch to sleep matters off at least for the time being. Little did Bria know she was going to have her first real orientation into the true workings of the school.
