Post Going it Alone (For Kanade Katsuki)
It was another beautiful day on Shokushu island. The sun shone, the birds sang, the surf was divine. Just another day in paradise. Not that paradise meant anything to 263. Raktars' had very limited appreciation for climate, or scenery, or recreational opportunities. 263 was perfectly content anywhere it happened to be, so long as it was able to explore its surroundings. Through rapid cellular regeneration, it was able to grow its dexterous tentacles for miles in any direction, blindly mapping the surrounding terrain by touch and sound and smell. This was a raktar's most basic instinct - explore. And it brought 263 endless satisfaction.

But there was something that 263 "enjoyed" even more than exploring. It supposed that the two ought to be of equal merit in its instincts (which was strange enough for a creature without higher-level sentience to suppose anything). However, during its time on this island, it had definitely come to favor one. A day like this, however, was the perfect opportunity for both. With the crowds of students out at the beach or hiking trails or in their rooms, the classroom buildings were largely deserted. "Largely" being the operative word. With the throng elsewhere, 263 was free to explore the class buildings without fear of discovery by large groups - something it had been conditioned to avoid at all costs by the people who had brought it to the island. And anyone who was inside was likely to be alone. Any stray, solitary girl it happened to come across during its day out was free prey. And it came across such a girl more often than not, it seemed. There were good memories in this building.

And so, it began as it had done dozens of times before. It crawled stealthily into the boiler room, sequestering its body far out of sight. Then, its tentacles began to grow. The extensible appendages snaked their way into air vents, maintenance shafts, and electrical conduits, weaving through the holes left in the building's infrastructure. Before long, the building was crawling with 263's appendages, moving unseen and unheard through the halls, searching for today's unlucky winner.

Post Re: Going it Alone (For Kanade Katsuki)
Despite the wonderful day it was on Shokushu island, with many of the students and residents enjoying the good weather by going to the seaside, one student in particular found herself attending Shokushu High School rather than the beach. Kanade Katsuki, a student who had just recently enrolled into Shokushu High School, had decided to use her time by getting to know the school building's layout. Kanade had just arrived on the island the previous day, and despite not officially starting lessons until tomorrow, Kanade decided she would spend the day to familiarise herself with the locations of her classrooms so that she wouldn't be lost when she actually did start classes. While at first it did take her a while to get used to where was what, she eventually did find herself being able to get a decent grasp on how to get to each classroom.

Despite the beautiful day and the fact that there wasn't any lessons on today, since Kanade decided she would also greet the teachers today, the long, dark haired girl decided to wear her school uniform. A simple uniform that consisted of a school jacket, a red bow around the neck, a white shirt under the jacket followed by a mini skirt with striped decorations that covered her upper portion of her thigh along with knee height, black socks.

After having familiarised herself with the school building enough to be confident she could get to classes without any trouble the following day, Kanade decided to go to the school toilets before heading home. She was still exhausted from the flight journey the previous day, and while it may have not shown, she really did need some time to relax and take a break before returning home. Entering the girl's toilet, Kanade took a look at herself in the mirror, making sure her clothes were fine and to double check her exhaustion wasn't actually showing. Fortunately for her, it wasn't. With no classes being held on the day, and the day being so good, the entire building was practically empty with the exception to some members of staff and maybe the odd few students. Of course, being a new student as Shokushu High School, Kanade had no ideas of the dangers of being alone at the school, and after checking herself in the mirror, began to head towards one of the vacant cubicles, unaware of what could be lurking around the school.

Post Re: Going it Alone (For Kanade Katsuki)
This didn't seem to be 263's lucky day. There were only a few eligible victims in the building today, and they all seemed to have places to be. Although its tentacles weren't slow by any means, their lack of sight meant they weren't especially good at snatching prey in a hurry. 263 needed time or luck to properly trap someone, and these girls were all out of the room and on their way practically as soon as it realized they were there. What 263 needed was for one of these girls to corner herself for it - to get into some space that it could block off, and just sit still for one damn minute. And the only presence it had been able to find who was sitting down was a fairly voluptuous teacher working in one of the office rooms. But alas, some unseen force in the room had made the tentacles feel uncomfortable, and they'd been forced to retreat before even being seen. It would have to come back for her later.

Raktar were incapable of despair, however, and 263's search persisted. Before long, it heard footsteps moving beneath the vent several of its tentacles were crawling through, and they slithered after the sound. The sound-maker spent quite a while moving in circles and circuits around the building, weaving an interlacing path through the halls, unaware of the growing throng of alien tentacles following her just above. A few times, she stopped by a door or stepped inside a classroom, but she always moved on before 263 could lay a trap. Its patience began to wain, and eventually, it was considering just leaping out with everything it had, and hoping to ensnare her before she could get away. Before it came to that, however, the girl ducked into the bathroom.

This was the chance 263 had been waiting for. It knew this room well - as luck would have it, it had a number of tentacles wrapped around this room's boundaries already, all of them able and ready to strike. It knew there was only one way out, and there were about to be none. As the door closed behind the girl, 263's tentacles finally emerged into the hallway. No one was around to see the mass of fleshy appendages descend from the ceiling and coil outside the door, waiting to strike should she try to escape. Inside the bathroom, the tentacles began to slip into the room. The vents around the building were designed to swing away under enough force, and 263's tentacles were more than strong enough for the job. The grates opened silently as the tentacles slithered past and descended silently to the floor. Following the sound of her footsteps, they moved towards the stall she'd just occupied.

Unaware of both what kind of things usually lurked around the school, and what kind of things were currently lurking around the school, Kanade had no idea the risk of being alone at this school. Not only did the building have very few people around, but the girl's toilet that Kanade was current in was completely empty. Completely empty with exception to Kanade herself, and the tentacles which had entered soon after her. Of course, given how silent the tentacles were, the young, black haired girl was completely unaware she was sharing the room with something else.

In fact, she was most likely too deep in thought to really pay attention properly to any odd sounds given that she had to decide what she would do after this. Kanade was the type to dislike wasting time doing nothing, and simply returning home and spending hours doing nothing was down as a waste of time in Kanade's mind.

It wasn't long until Kanade was finished using the stall, and she was once again stood up after having finished up. She wasn't in a particularly rush, still mostly thinking about where she should go next. Having seen most of the school, she struck that off her list of things to do and was considering getting to know the island better. Visiting the town was certainly on top of her list. The dark eyed girl began to fix her clothing, making sure her school uniform wasn't out of form in any way, moments away from leaving the stall, still unaware of what was lingering outside of the stall, and no doubt giving the tentacles more than enough time to make its move.

Although Kanade hadn't noticed she wasn't alone yet, 263 wasn't really one for stealth once its prey was cornered. The only exit was blocked, and it couldn't sense anyone else around to help her escape. Even if another student did show up, 263 would just catch her and fuck her too. There was nothing to stop it. But if that was true, maybe it could afford a little fun first. Playing with its victims had never really been something to cross 263's mind. But lately, it had noticed other monsters enjoying such pre-coital torment as it slithered by in the shadows. Maybe there was something to be said for getting a girl's heartbeat going a bit.

Sensing and sharing its thoughts was something that had only come to 263 recently. It still didn't really understand these voices that it could suddenly understand, or how its victims seemed to sometimes understand it, but it wasn't about to let them go underutilized. As the tentacles poised outside Kanade's stall door, 263 began searching for her thoughts. It began to think its hardest at her.

Inside Kanade's head, she would suddenly hear a voice. it was barely a whisper, but it was deep and throaty. It seemed to come from every direction at once, practically in her ear. It spoke slowly, broken. "Girl. Mine. Now."
