It had been a great day in one of my couple dozen courses... most of my days when other students had off I was rushing to my other master's classes, it was rare I had time to relax; and that was where I rested in the machine shop, orthe robotics lab as many called it. It was my favorite place to get work done , I wore a heavy jumpsuit, a weilder's mask over a doctor's breathing mask, thick work gloves and strong work boots, all over my short dainty school uniform, black school shoes, white thin bra and panties and my usual stick ons over my privates all in all with my clothes it was almost impossible to tell I was a girl... let alone a human being. There was a large machine in the back of the humongeous room. It was my pet project; my warp drive; unlike it's fictional counter part however it wasn't fueled with a highly explosive reaction but, by a single plant that secreted enough power to fuel a large city the size of new york that i had gotten from... a friend... It was still far from complete but, I was getting closer every day. I listened to the plant as I got closer, it's own energy fed it enough to keep the engine going when it was on; continually cycling power... infinite energy. I laughed as the plant told me a few jokes before I attached a copper coil onto the device. I removed the wielder's mask and placed it beside me and I untied my hair before stretching my neck. "alright that's the last condution inducing agent... Thought i'd never get that done... So what do you think so far roth?" I looked to the plant who responded simply enough. 'just like the specs I gave you so far, good work erica.' I picked up roth and brought him to the window sil with a sigh. I walked back to my work and began fidling with a few chambers. tightening things here and there. I didn't remove my doctor's surgical mask however. |
