Life's a Beach?? (for Tian)
The lovely and sunny beaches of Shokushu's island were popular and frequented by many of the school girls. Whether it was catching a few sunrays or splashing and swimming in the water, the beaches were very active in the day... and very safe. The steady crashing of waves was a tranquil and peaceful noise, broken by shrieks of laughter or conversation, but with the steady noise and the warmth, it made for a very relaxing environment.
Which is probably why Tien had nodded off. Especially when one chooses a spot away from many of the other students, but still in sight, able to feel the sun and hear the noise without being disturbed. Dozing in the sunlight, she didn't come to until a particularly high wave splashed against her foot! Cold, cold way to wake up!
The sun was beginning to set, casting the sky in a reddish pink color, and the clouds glowing a flame red. Touching the sea on the horizon, the blazing orb was slightly oval to the eyes, a trick of refraction in the sky that reminded her of an eye...
Despite being later, it hadn't gotten cold yet, though her wet feet were begging to differ on that opinion. Before she has a chance to do more than sit up and let the grogginess pass, she hears a strange burbling noise coming off to her right and near her head, where a small tidal pond had been (and still was) nestled between banks of sand.

My eyes traveled towards what seemed like one of the small pool's children used to make on the sea. They'd dig a hole in the sand and then a little tunnel to allow the water to travel into it. By the time they finished the day would normally be over. But this time it looked much too well dug to be done by a child. And bubbling water was never a good sign. I let out a shuddering breath, pulling up my cold feet to my chest. I looked to the sun, its reflection in the water reminding me of an old movie that was based on a fantastic book. Lord of the... Mings, or dings, or something like that. But anyway, the main badguy had been killed and all that was left of him was a giant flaming eye that would live ontop of a mountain. Mount death or something. Anyway, it would always be searching for a ring, that would empower it so that it could live once more. I shuddered. The idea of having an enormous, burning entity watch me was terrifying.
I stood up, my red bikini practically glowing in the sunlight. The sand felt familiar in my toes, like back on Florida. This island reminded me of it so much, except for the sun. And the forests. And the fact that the Eye of Sorgon or whatever wasn't the only monster on this island. I had met many of these evil beings, all of whom decided to turn innocent women into their violatable sex toys for one reason or another. If I didn't know any better, I could say that this was some perverted man's fantasy and that it were all being simulated on a computer for his pleasure.

to choose caution or courage...
It was an interesting twist of fate of her struck by such imagery, because even as she thought of it's comparison to that gigantic eye.
The glow of the bikini, wrapped around the girls' sensual curves, had caught the eye of something a little less (or perhaps, a little more?) fantastical. In that quaint pond, a curved white tentacle was lurking, resting after the strenuous work it had done earlier.
That flash of bright red though, nearly glowing, was like a beacon to the tired creature; it swam up through the water, looking like not much more than white driftwood, and peered through the liquid surface at her. She was definitely a sight to behold! Sexy and smooth, with long hair, a cute almost-cherubic face, and deliciously little clothing... he needed to feast, and he had found a juicy meal indeed.
With her thoughts on the strange twisted nature of the island, she nearly missed the log floating up towards the surface, nearing reaching the top. There was a strange bump on it that made her think of an eye, but it was hard to see precisely...

What must have been a white log looked very orange in the setting sun. I stared at it for a few moments, feeling as if I was supposed to notice something more about it. I turned around and looked about me, seeing that everyone had left already. I nodded to myself and knelt down, picking up the blanket which I had fallen asleep on. I raised my arms into the air and yawned again, stretching my muscles. "I better get going, before the night watch-monsters come get me." I started to walk, my feet seeping into the sand each time I stepped, causing my rump to sway a little. I always hated coloring my nails. It was so tedius and in my opinion didn't even look good. My hair was practically waste length, all of my chestnut locks swaying in the salt tinged wind as I walked.

As she moves away, the 'log' notices the sound and change, pausing in it's slow ascent. {Ack! No, she's getting away! Nooo-} {Can it already.} One of it's companions 'thought' back...
As she stretches and walks for the edge of the beach, body swaying back and forth, there was an audible crunch of sand from up ahead. Near some large rocks that jutt out into the water, and by where the sand meets grass, she spots an unfamiliar sight on the island!
A young man, about her age, was walking out onto the beach. He was short and lean, clad in a white short-sleeved shirt and blue slacks, wearing a pair of sandals on his feet as he made his way out onto the sand. He had short, blonde hair that was beginning to dance in the ocean breeze, light, round cheekbones that made him look fairly young, and hazel eyes that were flashing with orange as he looked out at the sun.
{Look at this...} He thought to himself, appraising the cute girl and smiling cheerfully. "Hey there! Shouldn't be out this late, should you?" He grins lightly, tucking his hands in his pockets. {Very cute... I wonder how she'll react?} In the water, the 'log' had breached the surface, ready and waiting... but also curious to see what the 'rest' of himself had planned. "Don't let me disturb you, just a little lost."

I looked at the cute, young boy, summing up that he was probably 18 as well. I blushed slightly as I looked at him. His hair was flowing in the wind, his face built perfectly. He was gorgeous. "Yeah, I fell asleep on the beach. I should probably get going... And what are you doing here, I thought this was an all girl's school?"

darkness approacheth...
The young boy smiles and shrugs. "Oh, yeah. Not a student though; visiting family." He says with a grin. "The staff get to break the rules that way." He looks down at her with some curiosity, but started to walk up onto the rock outcropping, stretching his arms out to balance himself. "What's your name?"
He asked with a light grin, looking her over. With this perspective, he could much more easily admire her figure... and it also gave him something resembling an idea for later. But for the moment, he found his focus gravitating towards the beautiful girl in front of him.
"Maybe you could help me find my way around. If it isn't too late for you." He looks towards the setting sun, holding a hand up to shield his eyes a little as he squints. It was starting to sink below the sea, the sky quickly changing color.

I considered what he said and turned towards the sun as well. It still resembled a giant flaming eye to me. I turned back towards the boy, smiling at him warmly. "Sure, I'll accompany you. But your first tour is going to be indoors. Lets just say its a tad dangerous out here at night." I then wondered whether the monsters were interested in boys. Maybe they were scared of them. What an interesting questiion. If only I was brave enough to test it.

moving to a more secluded locale...
He nods, smiling and tucking his hands in his pockets. He starts to work his way over, nodding for her to walk ahead with a smile. "Then you can lead the way, ok?"
When she goes on, he spends a moment to look back, grinning at the setting sun, then hops a little and hurries to catch up to her. "What did you say your name was? And, dangerous?" He tilts his head and smiles curiously.
As they moved away from the beach, the tentacle slid into the ground, burrowing and speeding up as they walked... it lurked and waited, readying itself. Soon, very soon, it was going to have... quite a bit of fun.

I continued to walk, aware of the boy watching my body. Oh, how this brought back memories of Florida. Where I almost always wore a skimpy swim suit. I'd tell my parents that I wore so as to allow me more maneuverability when I dived in the water to save drowning people. When in reality, I wore it because I knew of the attention it would grant me. And so it had. I've never really had a boyfriend. But definately a number of sex buddies, as my friends would so kindly put it. I called it experimenting and doing my friends favors. But, of course, no one, including myself, believed it. Nonetheless, I still did it. More for the satisfaction of knowing I made someone happy then my own self pleasures.

Isolation
The boy was certainly watching her closely as she walked. As she reminisced about the lack of boys on campus... and the enjoyment she's had with a lot of the friends she has had around, the young man jogs forwards a little, coming up next to her.
He leans forwards, rather plainly watching her from the front now, but before she can react, he reaches forwards with a hand and flicks her on the nose!
"There we go, a little bit spaced out aren't you?" He grins broadly at her. "Maybe you didn't get enough sleep? Well, I was just asking the pretty girl her name."
As they've been walking, they've left the beach proper, closing distance to the campus. But he's begun to stray a little, bringing them on a bit of a scenic route through the trees. That might not be abnormal, he doesn't know his way around, but with the setting sun it's surrounded them in darkness and solitude.

"Hmm? Pretty girl? Where?" I looked around curiously, expecting to see Kairi or some other girl beside us. Then I realized he was talking to me. I blushed lightly and smiled at him. "Oh, you mean me. Name's Tian. Nice to meet you." I looked ahead again, watching my step as I once again began to reminisce about the past.

blocked passage
He tilts his head and raises an eyebrow at her reaction, stopping in place. "Huh..."
He didn't follow her, letting her walk ahead, lost in her reminiscing. It was a few minutes befoe she began to notice that the setting sun had finally vanished on the horizon, casting the trees and path around her into the darkness of night. She was alone now, the boy she was with separating at some time during her daydreaming. The wind was blowing gently, a whistling noise that made the leaves rustle and dance and made skin shiver with chill.
Up ahead, she noticed the path was blocked off by a large bush that was apparently uprooted, tossed or fallen from wherever. It wasn't a thick obstruction, but her eyes noticed the large thorns that stuck out from it's branches. Around it was other thick foliage, bushes and trees, but although thicker, they looked much safer than the one that was lying in the way.
Or perhaps she can work her way into the forest enough to circle all of it. As she thinks, a sudden noise makes her jump! "H-oot, hoot..." Just an owl in the tree above, it sounded like.

I gasped as I suddenly found myself alone. Where had the boy gone? And what was I doing in the forest? Oh, no.. It was a trap.. And I was lost.. This can't be happening, it can't! I turned around and tried to find my way back. But it was no use. I may as well get naked and start masturbating in preparation for the monsters. I was doomed.

Tian's situation certainly was grim; the forest was getting darker, and the wind was beginning to blow. Leaves were rustling, making her nervous. A bush rattled and shook at a particularly large gust, settling down only as the wind dies back down. She was lost, and it was late...
'Flapflapflap!' Tian nearly jumps out of her skin as a bird flies right past her head, wings flapping with surprising quietness in the air as the small form lands on a branch nearby. Turning it's head, the small brown owl looks back at her with eyes that seem to glint malevolently... as she focuses on that frightening sight, the forest around her goes deathly silent. Something was out there... something close.
