The sea was so hard to capture in a painting. It ebbed and flowed, making waves roll off the rocks with strength and finesse. Cherry couldn't just look up and find it in the exact same place as she had before-- it was always so volatile. That made it depressingly hard to paint, but the redhead had never been able to resist a challenge.

Her green eyes scanned the beach while she set up her easel. Nobody else was there-- good! She could sketch it without interruption, and then tomorrow in class she would have her sketch ready to paint. That would be good...

Cherry's tapered fingers tapped the easel while she watched the ocean. She saw some bubbles-- probably another one of those Goliath Groupers, such pretty fish-- and started to sketch them on her paper.
