When she set out it was a pleasant Saturday afternoon. Being warm Bria sets out on a long hike. Given her medical condition she hated being babied. Normally she still would have preferred to have someone with her in case the worst happened. Ginger was unavailable and Bria didn't want to travel with any of her fellow Tramps thinking that they would get to handsy.

So alone she set off into the mountains. An easy hiking trail or so she believed. Dressed in khaki shorts, a short sleeve green tank top she wore a sturdy pair of boots and carried a back pack that had a few things like water and a few snacks.

Unfortunately for her she didn't have a flashlight. She found herself waking on the ground. Her arms and legs scrapped up. She must have fallen asleep, a Vitim of her narcolepsy once again.

It was late. Too dark to risk traveling far. As it was she nearly twisted an ankle by the time she back tracked to that cave she passed earlier in the day. Well it was a good enough place to rest seeing that she wasn't going to get far. If only she had some light she could at least write. She was never without her notebook and a few pens and pencils.

Eh? She saw a soft glow farther in the cave. This caused her some unease given her experiences on the island thus far. It could be students with lamps too. It was a Saturday night and this could have been a tryst she stumbled into. Should she check it out? Clearly she couldn't leave in any case.

Indecision flicked through her head before she figured she'd creep forward a little. If it were a tryst she could retreat back to here. And if she didn't see anything amiss well … it could be some bio-luminescence. Maybe a fungus? She didn't know much about plants and fungi. She bet Ginger would.
