Rith lay on her back atop the school roof, her pale legs and black leather boots dangling off the buildings edge. Her slender fingers were clasped against her abdomen, and her breasts pushed outward against the dark lace of her dark dress as she arched her long creamy neck to take in a good look at the stars. She was no astronomer, but something about the layout of the celestial space seemed a little off. The raven haired student tried in vain to locate the big dipper and the north star. She stumbled across a few similar star clusters, but nothing definitive. The rational part of her told her to write off the mystery as being attributed to gazing from another hemisphere, but that didn't seem to take. She moved to take a stargazer's guide laying at her side into her gasp, but decided against it, leaving the boring looking leather bound tome where it lay. Rith had no desire to squint into its fine print in the dark, not when such spectacular sights sprawled before her. The relatively new student wasn't certain she was allowed atop the building, however she couldn't really bring herself to care. Rith rarely broke rules. She rarely had any reason to, but her obedience stopped at obeying any directions she found unjust or stupid. There was nothing to fear out here. She wasn't going to wander off the building's edge like an idiot. Rith let the cool night air play over her, slipping between her thighs and across her chest. There was still a small part of her that remained on edge, vigilantly keeping an ear open and occasionally scanning the shadows among the ductwork and corners of the rectangular forms atop the flat roof. The bulk of her attention belonged to the spectacle of the skies, of course. The full moon hung over her, as entrancing as it was bright. She found herself absentmindedly tracing the shaped of its pallid craters and mountains against her stomach, carefully recording each contour through fabric and onto her flesh. |

The moon was perfect, so perfect that Leon could feel his longing for it intensify. He finished his classes early and dismissed them, locking the laboratories. A glance out the window confirmed his suspicions. The night was beautiful. He felt the need for the moon tug at his heart, felt his desire to bathe in the moon light. He quickened his pace through the school, relishing in the empty corridors and the silence. No one was going to bother him tonight. He stepped through the doors and breathed a soft sigh of relief as the glow settled upon him. He raised his hand and lifted his face to the circular ball of reflected light, drinking the energy deeply. The moon’s light was like the sun’s rays to a normal flower. It empowered him, satisfied him. His human disguise melted away and the scent of a rose garden filled the air as he let himself get lost in the feeling. |
