Aurora sighs and smiles as she looks over her handiwork. "It's finally finished." she says, pleased with herself, as she looks over the newly completed and dedicated shrine to Skadhi that she has made.

The idea came to her months ago when she found this remote spot while exploring the island... a secluded grove in the woods that is backed up against a rock cliff. Near the base of the cliff, a large slab of rock had fallen.

It has taken all these months to get the time, strength and materials to complete the shrine properly. The large rock has been smoothed and flattened with the power of her storm to turn it into an altar. In the rock behind the altar, Aurora has carved in the runes for Skadhi in the primary location - but also other runes for the other gods of her people - Odin, Thor, Freya and even Hela. They all deserve their due, and she can not make a shrine to them all.

Looking out from the altar, the clearing slowly rises up along a hill - turning the altar into the focus of a natural amphitheater - where maybe a hundred or more could watch the rituals and join in the worship.

"Of course, no one will ever fill those 'seats'" she thinks to herself. "But it is right that a shrine should welcome all who wish to come here."

The white-haired priestess pulls back the hood of her ermine robes, and again admires the light rime of frost that covers the ground and altar in the glistening ice, which came as she completed the rituals. A sign that the goddess has accepted her prayers and blessed this shrine.

The power is weak yet, but Aurora knows that as she continues to offer her prayers and rituals, the strength of the shrine will only increase.

There was something strange going on at a little alcove that, for the most part, had been hidden away in the darkest depths of the island forest.

Grail had been by that place several times as he flew about during the days and weeks that he was on the island, but something kept changing at a small pace a few months back. The large rock, that was easily big enough to be a stage, seemed to be chiseled down with work and turned into some sort of altar for something.

Grail was going to have to keep an eye on this surprising development. It wasn't that he was afraid of anything, but knowing the students here and some of the things he'd seen, he'd rather be safe than sorry.

That fateful day soon arrived where he would be scanning around the area of the woods where that shrine would be enacted. He noticed from his position that there was an odd covering of frost...and it wasn't even remotely cold out. Interested, the demon perched high above the alter on that rock cliff, looking down and waiting patiently...

He soon saw a female begin towards the shrine and ducked down, grinning for a moment that it seemed she was the one doing all this work for just a piece of rock. Granted, the alter was huge...almost like a stage the creature mused, and that is when an idea formed in his head.

He snapped his fingers once, and in his hand appeared a little round, circular object in his hand. This small object was in fact a demon, and a rather strong one at that. It could warp reality for someone, make them see things that weren't there, and feel things that weren't there as well. The kicker was, any evidence left behind would be real enough.

He planted the small demon down on the rock cliff, it's power easily stretching further out than that hill that sat behind the pillar as he observed the woman down below.

Aurora approaches the altar, unaware that she is being watched.

She lets her long snow-white tresses fall about her over the robes as she kneels and starts whispering a prayer to Skadhi in ancient Norse. From high up on the cliff, the demons would see that the young woman is quite beautiful - and that her abundant cleavage swells from the neck of her robes.

Aurora puts her hands together, and blows between them - but not as if her hands are cold. Slowly she draws her hands apart to reveal a small figure of ice. It's impossible to identify from a distance, but it is clearly delicate and intricate - and seems to have just appeared in her hands before she lays it on the altar.

The priestess then turns slightly and begins to make her prayers to the signs of the other gods that she has instilled into the shrine - still heedless of the fact that she is not alone.

As soon as that small demon was attached to that cliff, an invisible force shot out from the demon, pushing past everything that it surrounded until it stopped about two hundred yards from where the demons were situated at. That large dome would forever impact every single thing that was inside of it, reality bent now as that demon sat there content.

Grail was no where to be seen, inside of that bubble, and that was the way he was going to keep it as he made his way down that cliff, diving off before his wings caught the air, flapping a few times to land him right down next to the female, but thanks to that demon that was master of illusions and reality, she would not be able to notice a thing save for a little wind that may have kicked up.

He was astonished to see that the female was making a little ice sculpture out of no where, and needed to find out quick what this woman was capable of. He inspected the alter silently next to her before making his way around the back, seeing that there was a rock with several symbols that he demon recognized...A sick grin began to form on his lips.

Mentally the demon was linked with the other one, and soon the woman would feel the wind start to kick up inside of that bubble that she was unknowingly in, and above her the clouds began to swirl, growing darker as it seemed that her shrine may have garnered her some attention.

Aurora sighs as she feels the wind pick up in the grove, taking it as a sign of approval from her goddess.

She kneels again and spreads her arms wide as she calls out to Skadhi. "Gread Skadhi.. Blizzard Queen, Goddess of the Winter Storm.. I hear you and listen. You honor and bless me. Speak again to your chosen daughter." The Priestess does not seem troubled at all by the dark clouds above her - if anything she seems to welcome them.
