A merry whistling could be heard in the corridors of the Shokushu dorm. The whistling originated from a blond girl named Pia. She was dressed in a pair of shorts and a pink top. She also wore a lightweight helmet, knee and elbow pads and wrist guards. She was carrying a pair of inline skates. Pia was not the kind of person to make a lot of friends and acquaintances quickly, but she had come to know a few others. Right now she was on her way to Katy, a British redhead she had met a few days earlier. She did not Katy very well, but they had talked on a few occasions. Since both of them enjoyed rolleblading, they had agreed to go blading together. Pia was looking forward to get outside and perhaps see a bit more of the island. She paused in front of a door. Checking to make sure it was the right room, she then knocked. “H! Katy! This is Pia, ready to go!” |

On the other side of the door you can hear a crash, some scrabling, some cursing, then finaly the sound of a door lock unlocking. The door opens and katy pops her head out. "oh hey I'll be right out" katy says closing the door. More crashing sounds can be heard. |

"Uhm. Okay?" is about all Pia has time to reply, before Katy ducks back in. "Say, are you allright in there? If you need help, I`m right here." Uncertainly, Pia puts her hand on the door handle, but decides not to enter. "I'll just wait here, then.." Even if she knows it is no busniess of hers, she cannot help but wonder what the noice is about. |

after a while the door opens and katy comes out dressed in her swimsuit with rollerblades and helmet "sorry I took so long my room is a mess^^" katy giggles |

"I know what you mean. My room is a disaster area." Pia, laughed. "I`m just glad they haven't found me a roomie yet, she probably would have killed me by now." "Where do you want to go? You lead the way!". |

Pia had to think about that for a second. "Well, there is this path. Or maybe small road would be better. Anyway, it cuts directly through the forest, and it is all paved. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks good". "We could try it, if it is OK with you?". Seeing the other girl was ready, Pia made a motion to start walking towards the exit of the dorms. |

Leaving the building, Pia headed towards a bench, sitting down and putting on her rollerskates. "See thats the road I was talking about", she said, pointing towards the edge of the woods. |

"Mysterious? You think so?" Pia had her blades on. Standing up, she checked the straps on her helmet. She was ready to go. "If you want to somewhere else, thats okay. Maybe the yard behind the school building or something?" |

Pia, seeing Katy get dizzy, reaches out to steady her. "Are you OK? Maybe we should go easy the first distance." Letting go of Katy, Pia rolls a few feet backwards, clearly eager to get going. |
