Re: The forests of Shokushu bad place for a hike (for Fiona)
Completely oblivious to the malicious cat demon spying on her from above, Fiona skipped merrily along the narrow, winding strip of flattened grass and crushed leaves and twigs that marked one of the forest's many well-known (and many more unknown) hiking trails.
Fiona's choice in attire for this day is fairly well-suited for the occasion. It consists of a brown vest and the Macbeth Clan's tartan ((a picture of the pattern can be found in one of the links below my sig pic--today it's the 'ancient' pattern shown on the right)) worn over a white long-sleeved blouse with brown cuffs and a red ribbon tied at the collar. The blouse is tucked into a short, kilted miniskirt matching the pattern on Fi's tartan.
The shoes are a pair of soft black
Mary Janes with adjustable straps and shock-absorbing polyurethane soles worn over long white socks that kept the seasoned outdoors-woman's legs protected from poison ivy and any other hidden surprises she might encounter while traveling through the woods.
The trail that Fi was currently traveling on didn't lead anywhere in particular as far as the Scotswoman knew, but that was perfectly okay since she had no specific destination in mind in any case. The care-free lass simply went wherever the wind took her, as the saying goes.
If Fiona only knew what was waiting for her along that trail, the young mage would have had a slightly different attitude about it all...
