"...aaaannd that should about do it! Time to get back, Pia girl. Time to get back."

Pia was talking, or rather, whispering to herself. There were off course no one else out at this time. She would rather not be here herself, out in the dark on this island, but it was the best chance she would get.
Pia knew stuff. For instance, she knew she was not on Earth anymore. That had been a big idea to wrap her little head around, but she figured that it had to be so. Still, she had a nagging urge to make herself one hundred percent sure. So she had gone outside to take pictures of the moon. The pictures were not particularly good. There seemed to be a thin film of clouds across the skies. But she could probably clean them up digitally. If what came up on the screen did not look like the moon she knew from Earth, then this was not Earth.
It would probably not convince anyone but herself, but then it was mostly for her own sake.

Pia got up, and slowly removed the memory chip from the camera, then put the camera in its little bag. She was wearing glasses, as always, pigtails, as she usually did, a small black top, blue cut-off shorts, and a red jacket, unzipped, but with the hood over her head.
The dorms were not far off, in fact, she could see them from the hill she was standing on top of.

Pia started to half walk, half jog. There was a slight chill in the air, and the moon made everything shine like silver.

Muttering to himself Giza walked through the forest. making his way past a couple of small hills he noticed a girl standing alone taking a picture of the moon. How interesting Looking at the girl he decided to have her. Transforming into his human form he watched the girl begin to walk or jog to the dorms. He speed towards her in pursuit when he was a couple of meters away he slowed into a slow jog and jogged up to her.

"What! EEEEK!"
Pia screamed in shock as she realized someone was right next to her, nearly jumping out of her skin. Reacting on pure instinct, she whirled around, tossed herself away, slid and rolled a few feet down on the gentle slop they were on, and whirled to face her attacker.

"Leave me alone!", she screamed. "I wont let.. uh.."

Her voice tailed of a little. The would be attacker seemed human, at least at first glance. Hesitating, she looked at the figure, trying to determine if he was friend or foe.

"Oh, I am sorry.. professor! I just got scared, is all.."
Pia realized she might have seen him before, somewhere. He was a professor of sorts, she believed. She was not sure. Of course, that might still mean she was in trouble. She was out past curfew, something that might earn her a demerit. And she was a lone female.. not just monsters acted monstrous.

Still, she was probably safer from the monsters with him near, and he did not seem hostile.

"Uh..", Pia was not sure if this was a bad thing, she about to get a note of demerit, or if it was just politeness. She could lie, of course, but that would probably backfire at her later.
Looking nervous, she fidgeted with her pigtail.
"Hov..", she said. "Pia Marie Hov.. That is my name, sir."

Pia? Scratching his chin he continued to look at her before making his decision. You do know your breaking curfew being out here?

Ah, here it comes..

"Yes, sir..", she said, looking down at her white and red sneakers. "Uh.. I am sorry.. I could not sleep, so I snuck out to take a look at the moon.."
It was better not to mention her real purpose. She did not think she was supposed to know she was not on earth.

It is rather beautiful. Funnly enough so did I. Looking up at the moon it was reflected in his shades. Smilling to himself he looked back a Pia. Well you understand there will be a punishment for your careless disregard for the rules right?

Pia slumped her shoulders. Here it comes.. There was no way she could escape this, at least not now. It was so unfair! Shokushu had a million and one poorly defined rules, and an infraction against one could mean just about any punishment, with no means to defend oneself. Protesting and pleading would only make things worse.

String at the ground, Pia merely nodded.

Smiling his pointy canines glinting in the moonlight he took off his glasses his bright yellow eyes glaring at her hungrily. Well are you going to answer me?

"Yes, Sir.. I-I *gulp* am.." Pia said, eyes widening as she got a better view of the teachers face. Was it the moonlight tricking her? Or was it..

Oh, my! Is that fangs? Those yellow eyes.. Oh, I think it is..

Pia's mind raced, and almost hit spot on, yet managed to miss by a mile.

He cant be a real vampire! Vampires are not even real!

But what did Pia know? A year ago, she would have said demons were not real, and that aliens dwelled on remote planets if they even existed. Why not the undead?

"Don't hurt me! Please! I won't taste good at all! I am not even a virgin!"

Now Pia was even more confused. Should she believe him? Sure, he might be telling the truth. On the other hand, this place was full of monsters. Regardless, she had managed to infuriate him even more, and that would be bad either way.
Stepping backwards, she mumbled her apologies.
"Sorry sir! It was just.. I am terribly sorry.. And besides, vampires are considered cool nowadays, I meant nothing derogatory. I beg your forgiveness.."
