This certainly was not working out as fluid as he liked. Using Lynn to spy on his behalf was less effective then he had thought and he would be better off using numerous nodes though it took about two months time to product one of them.

Still a deal was a deal regretfully. She really was an attractive girl and there was the hole issue of that hidden personae that he had not worked out yet. A protector of some sort was all he guessed, and something to do with the strange tattoo she had. The two were obviously linked but he had not managed to dwell too deeply into her mind to figure out how they were connected.

It was that defender that made things more difficult. His normal methods were slower though still effective so he would get to the heart of the matter eventually.

Aegir was dwelling on the issue back and forth over the last few days though he realized full well that he made no sort of arrangements to prevent him from tampering with her mind, only her body. Of course the agreement was made hastily and she probably didn't realize what he was fully capable of.

Well there he was lunging in the branches of one of his favorite trees knowing that Lynn would be by soon. Her radios were only partially effective though she still. reported in from time to time to keep him appraised of the situation.

The first time she did it though he felt so much fear within her mind, less the second time and each time thereafter since she assumed the worse would happen each time. It didn't though so she was growing more relaxed in his presence.

He could sense her mind too. Her brainwaves were easy to distinguish now and while normally he would care less he sensed the brain patterns of another nearby. A familiar mind, an alien one much different than a human's. Amos.

The being was a sadist, not very well liked either by Aegir as there was a time that they fought over the same prey. Now it seemed he was stalking Lynn through the forest, getting closer, that primal instinct strong within him. Normally he would not really care about the plight of another unless there was something in it for him though he took a liking in disrupting Amos' plans when he chanced upon them.

Effectively he paid the red-scaled demon back tenfold.
