It detached the panel at the front of it's chassis extracting the glass tube that collected the genetic samples that Balnab had been after all that time ago. There were no new orders though it kept gathering up genetic samples and would continue to do so until ordered otherwise.

This shelf was filled as it placed the last tube in the slot then changed the tube with a fresh one so it can collect another sample. It then replaced the panel it removed and did an assessment of remaining coolant before seeing to general maintenance after running the standard self diagnostic.

Once the usual was done Tinman left the cave, hide it with the vegetation though anyone looking for the lab would easily see the deep depressions in the ground that it made there.

It proceeded onward then in search of more samples and more coolant in the never ending quest to carry out it's orders to the best of it's abilities.

"Ahh... It's such a beautiful night... The sky is so much more clear here then back at home..."

She sighs to herself happily as she walks along through the vast amount of tree's and vegetation. Since it was after hours and her classes were done, she decided to wear a short pair of shorts that she would never year in public, a black tank-top and a simple pair of running shoes. It was a LOT less then what she would usually wear because of her scars, but she didn't care at the moment, no one would see her all the way out here. She very much enjoyed her secluded walks alone at night, it always gave her time to think and sort things out. This school wasn't as hard as she thought it would be. She expected it to be almost impossible to pass, but here she was, passing all of them with a B average. She continued her walk, getting farther and farther away from the campus. Some people called her crazy for wondering out alone at night. But hey, if she could handle walking through the alleys of downtown Phoenix in the middle of the night and make it out alive, then she was pretty sure she could handle herself outside of a school full of other girls and teachers. Or so she thought...

"It's so strange... being surrounded by so much green... We never get anything close to this in the city... It's pretty though... and so peaceful... God, I'm starving..."

She opens her bag and pulls out a small container filled with her favorite non-spicy fruit- mango's. She he takes a seat under a tree and sticks her fork into the bowel of fruit and takes a bite, moaning at the the blast of sweet juicy taste in her mouth. She really was at peace right now, and nothing could ruin this for her.

Nothing save for Tinman … well, there were many others. As a machine it did not possess an ego, just a collection of hard numbers. It was late and while it's infrared sensors where on it crashed through the forest.

It was late and it was probably not going to find anything but it was compelled to carry out it's orders. Collect coolant and genetic samples.

COOLANT LEVELS AT 62% … ADEQUATE … NOISE …

It paused and while Angel was quiet a distance away it's audio sensors heard something. Tinman played back the audio a few times then used some filters to scrub out the crashing sounds of it's own thunderous movements.

A moan? That indicated that there was a student in the clutches of a monster with a 97.3% probability.

ENTERING STEALTH MODE.

It moved towards the sound with purpose and determination. It would wait, Tinman didn't mind sloppy seconds after all. Just the assignment mattered, collect samples and to a lesser extent it's own preservation in gathering up coolant though it it ever had to decide on one or the other it would chose to collect samples because that was as it was instructed by the good doctor to do.

Angel leans back against the bark of the tree, fully enjoying her time alone.

"MMnn... heh... A girl could get use to this... nothing here but me..."

She holds up her container of fruit.

"... And my amazing food~! Hahaha!"

She laughs to herself and taking another bite of her delicious fruit, releasing another small pleased sigh from the delicious taste. She allows her eyes to slip shut as she enjoys herself.

Angel's peace would soon be disturbed as even in stealth mode Tinman was quite loud. Loud enough to get her attention at the very least.

EFFECTIVE UNDETECTED APPROCH 7% … READY ROCKETS. LIKILHOOD OF A CHASE 96%, 4% CHANCE OF FREEZING UP OR FAINTING. 99.6% CHANCE OF HER NOT BELIEVING THIS TO BE REAL INITIALLY …

Tinman waded through the options as he tried to approach. Acoustic sensors would let it know if it needed to kick it into gear because she ran off but this was too good of an opportunity to pass up. She was probably restrained in someway by the attacking monster it guessed to it did not take any chances and tried to foolishly sneak up on her.
