He was off looking for new victims to torment. From time to time he visited an old girl if he had refrained from braking her entirely for the braking was his favorite part. Once it was done he tended to loose interest in a student, which was probably best seeing that their weren't many who would crave his attention.

But the new students arrived today. He could recognize some of the monster in disguise that had been doing what he was doing, checking out their selection of targets. He did not mind his fellows too much though he rarely said more than two words to them.

Some preferred virgins and in a way that was his greatest prize … not sexual virginity, he couldn't give a damn about that but rather he enjoyed braking a girl in to the horrors or pleasures that the island had to offer. A lengthy plane ride later, she awoke from her seat with somewhat of a stifled yawn...She didn't even remember exactly when she dozed off! It was kind of like a side-hobby that she remained awake in order to see "where" she was going, but of course if she happens to be captured in the thralls of slumber it didn't matter to her. She would make a mental note to remain awake for the trip for the holiday break.

Of course the holidays being months away, time to focus on the present as she arose from her seat, glanced about her person to make sure that her clothing wasn't out of place as she moved from her seat to disembark from the aircraft in which the girls were promptly greeted with an immediate, but brief tour of the campus.

Taking in every site that they walked through en route to the dormitories, she looked rather impressed at the many features that this school had to offer. An expansive sports field, accompanied by a just as impressive gymnasium. Most of which she intended to spend much time at once she finally was settled in. Library, multiple classrooms (she wasn't looking up to sitting down in one however, but that's later on), even a beach which she spotted just before they landed!

Seems there was much to do at this school, but then again it was built upon an entire island. After the brief tour was over which took more or less an hour and a half, they arrived at the dormitories after being told that any other touring of the campus would have to be done in their own time. She intended to do just that as she walked through the halls politely speaking with many students along the way, and to occasionally ask for directions to her room.

Dropping down her stuff and plopping upon the bed, but only for a moment as she quickly motioned into the bathroom for a quick showering. All of that sleeping and then brief walking left her a tad tired, and decided that a quick shower and freshen up would help her as she quickly finished and placed her clothes back on as she left the dorms, fiddling about with the separate sleeve covers in order to observe the campus more thoroughly...

Ortix had everything prepared envisioning such horrible and delightful things that he could do. The slime transforming as it moved about, his color a constant flux to better blend in.

He was drawing this out a little, savoring the moment and had been prepared to strike as she got to a lake. The trees not so far from this spot and had he lips he would have licked them in anticipation of what was to come.

Casting his gaze about he simply thought that he was going to ooze along the ground and strike her from behind if she got caught up with the lake. Regardless he planned on taking her in that clearing …

Darn! She ha a Knight today, no for now as it seemed he would have to wait his turn or perhaps surprise her in the dorms when she thought this terrifying ordeal would be over ...

Really. He was not expecting anyone today. Today was orientation, he rarely left the forest though, just that one time where Meredith was within sight of it, within his range of influence …

That was a fun experience though virgins always were, there was something about there taste that was exquisite. It was a pity that she hadn’t come back though he did not imagine that she would come back. They never did.

So he was coming to the lake for a drink when he saw the violet eyed girl. He assumed that he was going to be alone and was not in stealth mode and was very visible to her. He paused and stared, if he had eyelids he would have blinked … well, so he was going to get a little snack in today. Tomorrow would be busy with all the new arrivals exploring the island but if he topped up now he wouldn't be so eager tomorrow and make the new girls stretch further, after all they wouldn't seek to stay away.

Tamae herself was simply walking along glancing about at the various plants as she walked from the dorms into the forest in hopes that she would possibly get a nice view of the beach from there, and if not the exercise would've just been a silver lining in itself of exploring where her home was to be for the next few years.

Continuing on until she arrived at the base of a lake, looking outward to it's seemingly glistening waters as the afternoon sunlight reflected on the farther right side, glancing up to the sky to enjoy it's view as well. At times like this it was rather worth it. She continued to glance around here and there for a few moments until she had heard a voice "Hello there, Sapling..."

The freshman was rather surprised momentarily to hear someone else's voice for she hadn't thought that she would have been followed or even in the least encounter anyone else. From the sound of the voice, it sounded male. Perhaps one of the teachers had seen her and decided to greet her. Although his way of speaking threw her off a tad. She did tend to be distracted once she set out to do something as she turned to greet the person "Hello th-a...aa..."

She stopped rather abruptly upon seeing the true form in which the voice had come from, standing there with his...or it's oddity of green colored skin. It looked rugged and dis-formed as if it were apart of the trees themselves as the now cautious students lower base trembled as she quickly began to back away, misplacing her footing, stumbling over herself as she staggered to the ground and continued to shuffle her feet backwards to place some distance between herself and this speaking oddity in front of her.

That was about the reaction he expected. She was a new one, she wasn't in uniform so he surmised that she was yet to get assigned clothes and what not though she could have been here for awhile now, he didn't really know of course.

How he had wished he had someone feeding him information but he supposed that wasn't as useful for him. He didn't leave the forest/jungle.

What was important was that she had not run of screaming hysterically either so she was shocked but could work though it though as he pondered he made that connection. If she were shocked then she might not have met any other monsters. Baring human contact … no, he was rarely so lucky to dine so well …

Birch could cover incredible distances and he could restrain her here at a whim so he was not concerned with sticking close. He gave her that distance sitting down on a stump of a log.

Won't you stay? Really he wasn't given her the choice but the illusion of one. Should she refuse then of course he would have to restrain her but would her curiosity get the better of her? He was not so sure but he allowed her to make the next move taking a nonthreatening stance with this one so far.

The now frightened student had continued to back away from the humanoid tree the fear of being too close to him should anything occur as Tamae once again staggering, but managing to get back up on her feet after being a good 6 feet away before the monster spoke as she looked to him while he sat upon the log.

At this point she did not know what to expect from this...but then again her eyes were gazing towards his figure, her mind was focusing more upon getting out of dodge as she attempted to reply, but her voice having not come back to her it sounded as if she were laughing at first before her words returned to her "H..he he..Who a- What are...." the freshman managed to piece together as she continued to stammer on her speech, while her gaze occasionally shifted back to the clearing where she came from before...but where was it? She had been taken by surprise that she couldn't find it, her eyes shifting a tad too quickly from her apparent uneasiness.

She was searching for a means of escape but she wouldn't find one. He was quiet confident that she was snagged, even if she did not fully comprehend what he could do. The only difference was whether she would run or not. Would she join him in a bit of banter first? Information outside his realm was scarce after all and while it was not necessary to keep informed it was rather useful from time to time.

He looked over the saplings features. He was beginning to recognize the small differences in the girls now. Meredith with her glasses and round features, this one was her eyes for he had never encountered a girl with amethyst colored eyes before.

Such a delightful figure at that too.

He gestured to a stone some distance away from him indicating that she should sit. It was not all too close but not far enough where he had to raise his voice to speak.

Either she would take her chances and run or actually sit, either way he was going to have her in time. He gazed at the lake for a few seconds then back at her to see what she had decided and whether or not he had to exert himself a little ...

Remaining standing for the moment, her legs trembling slightly not enough to possibly notice as she stared back towards those slanted leaf green beads of his what were called eyes as they reflected her in her entirety within their gaze which didn't help the girl at all. If anything it made her more unnerved than before that he was looking at her almost intently.

Had the girl known where she was, and how far it was to get out, she would immediately attempt to get from here without question, but she didn't. With almost no options as she tried to brave out a bit to cause her legs to stop shaking, but not impending against her heart which was thumping rapidly within her chest that she could clearly feel it.

Fear is a rather powerful motivator as Tamae began to sway back and forth as if attempting to motivate her body to comply with her minds demands of running away, still searching for that opening in which she came, once again no such luck. It looks like the girl was going to have to chance it, better away and lost than remained and trapped, right? It was until her concentration was broken from that low-toned voice from before and her attention once again shifted.

She shifted her eyes about towards the rock briefly before returning her gaze upon this plant man as he spoke, intending to tell her how did this come about as she shifted ever so slightly towards the rock and slowly placing her bottom upon it, shuffling her feet now and again showing that while she sat down to listen to him, she was nowhere near relaxing as she remained upon the rock awaiting to hear the beings story...

Oh, good. She hadn't tried to run. He did enjoy a good talk and other than that pesky Slarr these days company was rather hard to come by. Alas, she would not come back after today … not if she were like all the others at least.

Her nervousness had been apparent. She was searching for the path out but it was hidden from this position. She would have seen it clearly if she managed to get another fifteen feet o so back but he took that nervousness into account as she sat.

Birch admired her again. He had even considered letting her go this time and seeing if she did come back. Tomorrow he was virtual guaranteed a meal and if she returned at a later date, well even after he had raped her it might reinforce the matter in her head that if she encountered him again it did not always necessarily mean that he was going to rape her. It could be a means of getting some info. Of course he had to figure out a reason why she would return, what was in it for her. Pleasure? "...Tamae." the student replied rather quietly as opposed to her usually upbeat persona, her feet still crumpling the grass beneath them as her shuffling continues.

From how this was going so far it didn't seem as if anything was going to happen...maybe it did simply wish to talk? These were some of the thoughts on Tamae's mind as she contemplated whether allowing the plant man the time of day...and she meant that literally. The sun was going down after all...

Maybe they would simply speak and go on about their day...maybe nothing off putting would happen...nothing too bad was happening thus far as the student decided to give the being which was known as Birch a chance which is what she said to herself, and ended with if it gets too odd leave immediately. The curfew sounded like a good excuse. With her game plans in mind, Tamae tensed her feet a bit to cease the shuffling and breathed air through her nostrils holding it in as if to calm herself if only for a bit of reassurance in herself as her chest heaved back down during the exhale and then reverted her eyes back to Birch to hear him out.

Oh, this was so fucking disappointing. You mean to say that after all this time of stalking the girl they were just talking? He was hopeful that any moment he was going to get a show but this was beyond him. He didn’t fucking care to hear the plant's life story and when it was evident that they were not just going to skip ahead to the good part he considered the four other girls he passed up. Four girls that probably wouldn't have had experiences with other monsters yet … he so loved breaking them in.

Without the time to waist on this nonsense Ortix leaves the pair before they are even aware that he is there. He had considered raping the girl once the plant was through but the more he thought of it the more he didn't want sloppy seconds when the campus was a smorgasbord right now. Perhaps he would catch up with her later ...

Birch knew that she was nervous, who wouldn't be. He was also going to rape her at some point but he didn't have to be so eager about that too. He had wondered if he could get this one to come back, perhaps give he a reason to come back and endure repeated rapes. It would make his life easier without the need to hunt so often when he had a ready supply of nectar to harvest.

But the curfew would not have excused her should he have been incline to make his move. It might actually encourage him to teach her that the rules no longer applied but for now he would remain cordial.

My tale begins a little more than eighteen of your years ago. It may be a bit of a surprise but humans are not alone and a group of the non humans the Ashen had been interested in seeing if they could give sentience to objects.

I am the product of that work. The very first of the Yengel but I'm afraid to say that I may be the only one of my kind. The Ashen came here to finish their work in the event that there were unforeseen consequences to their work but fortunately there was none.

Other research went horribly wrong giving life to the plague of Ashlyn though this planet is too remote to be of any interest to them the Ashen scientists were recalled having to take care of the war efforts. Since then I have had not had contact with them and either the war continues or the Ashlyn succeeded and all memory of me has been lost to them. But that is whom I am in a general sense. A relic of a better time, well hardly a relic but you get the idea Sap – Tamae. He corrected.

Honestly he enjoyed company. It was so rare he had it these days, excluding that annoying Slarr who told the same tales again and again.

Tamae remained seated as she listened to the brief story given to her from Birch as she contemplated to herself as he spoke, but was still listening "Non-human...he means like..aliens and whatnot?" she continued to think and assess as he talked about a war to which she may have misinterpreted by what he meant from Ashen. Were they like a company of sorts? To her at this point was beginning to seem as if it were some sort of story.

From how Birch was telling his story it was as if they weren't on Earth...but that couldn't be right? I mean no other planets within the solar system can sustain life..aside from Mars, but even that was questionable.As the tale was seemingly finished Tamae payed more attention to Birch once she was asked about herself.

"Um, well. I was born in Japan..well...eighteen years ago. Heh..." she chuckled slightly from the fact that while her opening wasn't as similar to his, it did include the same amount of years. "I've had a rather loose childhood, free to pursue pretty much whatever came to mind so I put most of my attention towards drawing, sketching...other pieces and bits. Until I got older and I started playing more and more sports and other various activities. I don't really feel that I have much to tell about myself. Sorry about that." she finished up not honestly wanting to tell about herself to a complete stranger, especially if they looked as he had...it was just off putting to her.

We are the same age? he reflected on this for a moment, not too surprised. But there was some of what she said that he had to analyze, words and concepts about sports he had been taught but he did not use to terms often and only then when the scientists were teaching him at the beginning.

A life need not be impressive to be fulfilling. I have my origins from the stars but have come here to the planet you call home. Edna is it? I forget the name that you use to describe your planet. Ah, Earth … the knowledge is there but it is all foggy. I am to take it that Japan is some sort of territory on this world? Forgive my ignorance but I have never been off this island and geography isn't my strong suit.

The Ashen brought me here and gave life to me here … He cleared up a few things that she must have been thinking … it seemed that these aliens where the Ashen, that he was brought to this remote planet and left here on Earth though it was hard to say.
