Dared: Searching the Basement (for Drakus)
She really was stupid. And hard headed; she couldn't forget that. But damn it all, she wasn't going to let those girls say that she was chicken--her pride would not stand for it. As it stood, Persephone was one of the braver girls out there, daring to walk around with her head held up high, no matter what had happened to her. And as she had been managing to avoid any conflicts (or sudden bouts of tentacle rape) for a while yet, she thought that things were finally looking up and, perhaps, her lucky streak had returned to her in full force. And so, when the occassion had arose, she took this dare.
"Vampires...ha! More like dank, wet, slimy walls.....and barely enough light to see. Whoever came down here probably just bumped into a crate."
That's what Persephone had said, making those first steps down the stairs into the basement that quite a few of the girls talked about and avoided as much as possible. The pink haired student had snorted, thinking that the girls had encountered a few spiders or rats or such. Or that aforementioned crate they had mistaken for a coffin. Honestly...tentacled monsters she could believe, but vampires? All that sex must have finally affected their brains.
Of course, all of this was said and thought before she found the...well...
There were chains everywhere, tables laden with devices that made her blanch at the thought of it being used (or blushing in others--who left dildos those sizes lying around?). There were some knives, too, kept sharp and some cut rope close by. She swallowed. What was this room? A torture chamber? Or something else entirely? Whatever it was, she quickly bypassed it to head through another door--after snapping a picture, of course! Persephone had been dared to prove the non-existence of the coffin or vampire--depending on which she found first. Or didn't find. And so she had brought her camera with her to take photographic evidence. She also brought her cross, just in case. In one of her past 'incidents' the little cilver cross had helped her some, so now she wore it all the time.
"Stupid annoying, scaredy cats....sending me down here when I could be tending my garden....or reading something...or drawing--god I miss my sketchbook..."

Drakus stirs from his slumber, having found the Basement a convenient place to rest when the sun was up. He senses something moving nearby, and is instantly alert, feeling with all his senses for the intruder.
He hears a voice muttering to nobody in particular, and a light tread on the ground. He catches an enticing smell, a delicate little-girl perfume over the mature female musk that she releases as she feels a touch of fear. His mentalism catches the impression of naive innocence, which for now was clinging to a stubborn sense of pride to keep the fear at bay.
This was more than just nervousness. This girl KNEW... And she came down alone to the dark basement anyway.
Drakus grinned to himself, moving silently into a crouch in the dark alcove. he'd been amused by the coffin, wondering if there truly were vampires on this island who needed such things. But the coffin is in plain sight of where he hides, and made a good stalking-horse when placed on a plinth as if it was significant like he had down.

God, where was the god damn lights? Persephone felt like someone had thrown her into Silent Hill or something. She could barely see anything in front of her and barely avoided bumping into things. Or maybe this was more like Fatal Frame, since the pink haired girl had a camera on her as she went around investigating. For her trek in the basement the girl had forgone the usual schoolgirl uniform that all the girls wore while attending classes or at school. She wore a soft pink dress over a white shirt, long socks and soft leather boots. Not exactly an outfit made for 'tomb raiding' but it was comfortable and warm and Persephone loved nothing more than feeling warmth. Heat always kept her calm and collected, made her sleepy even, if given enough heat. Of course, there were times when too much heat made her, well...horny, but that wasn't the case here.
The basement was cold and dank as she had said it was, so it evened out the playing field a bit. No sleepiness or horniness for her (not that she'd allow herself to fall asleep or masterbate here in this godforsaken place). And she had to be careful...no telling what could be lurking just around the corner, waiting to pounce on her.
He leg hit something hollow and wooden. Wishing she had remembered to take a flashlight with her (it would have been the smart thing to do, instead of just assuming there'd be light) she held up her camera and took a quick snapshot. And there it was...the coffin!
"Well, alright Stephie...I give...there really IS a coffin here....but it's probably just a prop and doesn't house any vampire in it...outside of the school plays, anyways."
Alright...now...the moment of truth. Reaching out she grasped the lid and opened it!
Persephone braced herself.
Silence.
Nothing came.
Lifting her camera, she snapped a photo.
Nothing inside.
Persephone let out a chuckle.
"I knew there was no vampire here."
Oh, but how wrong she was.

As the girl moves over to the coffin, Drakus waits for her to pass and then emerges from his alcove. He lopes silently towards the entrance as the girl fumbles slowly forwards in the dim light, his burning red eyes easily piercing the gloom.
Turning to face her, he watches as she stumbles into the coffin. His gaze roams up and down her, seeing her appearance matched her scent, the appealingly curved figure of a woman covered in childishly cute pink and white frilly garments. Just the sort to fight against the needs of her healthy young body... And so just the sort he enjoys the most.
He chuckles as she speaks.
"No vampire? That would depend entirely on how you defined a Vampire, girl. Certainly there is nothing that needs to dwell in a coffin here with you. But here you are... Alone... And here *I* am."
His silhouette can be seen against the light filtering down from the stairs, a lean, powerful shape over eight feet tall with only the crimson, slitted eyes clearly visible.

Persephone jumped, nearly stumbling on soemthing on the ground--she wasn't sure what and she truly did not want to know--and falling, but she caught herself in time. Her wide sky blue eyes darted around, trying to find the source of the voice quickly--and possibly try to find her bearings again so she could get the fuck out of there with her rear end intact. The girl had already established that she did not like the basement and wasn't too keen on being caught down there with anything...unsavory.
"You know...it's not nice to play tricks on schoolgirls like that....scaring them...they might just get the wrong idea..." the pink haired girl said calmly, keeping note of her voice to see if it was trembling or not. Unsurprisingly to her, it was shaking one little bit. Perhaps all the fear had run itself right out of her after a few months of staying at SHokushu. She wasn't entirely jaded though--just cautious. Who knew? Maybe, for once, she wasn't in the midst of someone--or something--trying to get into her pants.
Ha. Yeah, right.
Her back hit a wall and while most would think themselves cornered, Persephone mentally rejoiced. A wall meant a possible door. And maybe, if she followed it, she could get out.
But then, she saw it. His form...and those eyes.
Crap, I'm screwed.
"Do you always stalk abroad in the darkness like this?" she asked, without really thinking.

"Me? I was down here when you entered. YOU are the one who decided to come creeping about in dark places and look for monsters. Why should you protest at having found one?"
He watches as she seems to be feeling her way about the walls.
"Are you searching for some weapon? A fight could make for interesting foreplay... As could a chase. But I feel that a struggle will be better for now. I've got you cornered in here, and a girl in the hand... Oh, you can spare yourself the effort, the only door is the one I stand in front of."

"I protest, because I wasn't supposed to find one,' Persephone snapped back, pouting. And a weapon? Pfft. Yeah, as if she could put up a possible fight. And in this choice piece of battlefield? With weird things littering the floor, tables and god knows what else? Oh, yes, she was going to put up a magnificent fight--if she didn't accidentally kill herself on something first. But then, her mind caught on to what he had said.
"F-foreplay?!" Oh, hell no. She was not going to allow herself to be someone's play thing--and especially not in a place like this! Thinking about it, though, brought rather perverted images in mind of being tied down and taken forcibly until she came hard over and over again.
Persephone mentally slapped herself.
Right. Had to find a way out. But if that door was the only way....She would have to stall. But how? Well...she could talk. Bullshit until she had some sort of plan of attack. Grasping the silver cross hanging from a chain around her neck, she bit her bottom lip.
"So...you are saying you're a monster? What kind are you?"

"Why, a Vampire of course. You came looking for a Vampire, didn't you? Perhaps not the kind you were looking for, since you checked the coffin and are clutching that cross as if it can somehow save you. And really, the way you pout and bite your lip... I assure you, that's not how a girl with your looks makes someone NOT want to rape her."
His amused and mocking voice suddenly sounds again, but this time he doesn't speak out loud. The words flow through her mind instead...
But then, I saw what you just thought. You've tasted the pleasures that this Island offers girls, and no matter how much you try to deny it you crave the sensations again!

"Vampire? Sounds lovely. I hope you're not going to bite my neck and suck my blood." The sucking blood part she could really live without, she thought to herself. The girl had a paralyzing fear of having her blood drained--as seen by how pathetically she had cried once when the leech the size of a football latched onto her neck and just sucked. Yeah, that hadn't been too pleasant. As for the biting, well...secretly the girl liked being bitten, but found that most of the things that made her a 'victim' to their carnal needs lacked teeth.
Not that she was in a hurry to get bitten by some total stranger to claimed to be a vampire...albeit, not the ones she was used to. But she was curious...as curious as Pandora herself and every bit as lovely as Persephone. So when that tidbit had come up, her rational mind had backed off for a few scant seconds. And she had wanted to ask what he meant...
But then it returned in full force when he made the 'not wanting to get raped' remark. She wanted to bit her lip out of anger, but held back the impulse.
A red hot blush colroed her skin from the top of her head all the way down to her toes. It didn't take her a second to realize that he had psychic abilities--to what extent she didn't knopw. Crap, she wtas really in over her head this time, huh?
'Do not!" Persephone cried back, rather petulantly. Gods, what a way NOT to get someone ticked off at you. Ah, well. She had never been the one to hold back, after all. "And if you think you're getting your hands on me, you have another thing coming!" Big words...she wondered if she could back them up. She looked around...what to do? Where to go?

Drakus chuckles again. "Blushing, ah, how charming. Flush your soft flesh with blood, the perfect way to stave off a vampire's attentions. But fear not... My bite is one that humans don't survive, so I have no intention of using it on you. Not for feeding, that is. My hands, my teeth, my claws, they are going to touch and taste every inch of your smooth warm skin. And then I'm going to fill your needy little holes with another part of my anatomy..."
He moves to the side of the door, and slams it shut. The light level drops, and she can only see glimpses of his burning eyes when he turns in her direction. She hears the sound of something very large and heavy being moved, and settling against the door with a loud thunk.
"Now then... Shall we proceed to the part where you run round and round a room with no way out whilst trying to delay your rape by a few more minutes?"

((OOC: Congrats! You've bene added to the Tentamon list! :3))
Persephone just glared into the darkness.
"Shut up. Unlike some people I have some decency. And if I want, I'll blush when I bloody want to." 'Bloody'. Not the best choice of wording, but Persephone made it quite clear that she always expressed herself however she wanted. And that she clearly did whatever she wanted to do.
The girl in pink pushed hrself away from the wall, moving about blindly as she tried to keep some distance between herself and her mystery vampire.
"Oh, that's reassuring. So...one bite and I'm dead?" She fought the urge to blush again, but it still came through. "And didn't I say that you're not touchign me?!" In her anger, she missed looking down and catching sight of a rather low work table. So, she stumbles and fell over, leaving her behind up in the air and rather exposed as her skirt decided right then and there to flip up and reveal her black panties underneath. What? She couldn't wear pink all the time. Knowing she was probably going to get some perverted comment, she right herself, wondering if he was able to keep track of where she was going when she heard the sounds of something moving...
...and seeing whatever dim light she had go out entirely.
She laughed though.
"Run? And possibly impale myself on something? No thank you. However, if you suggest I keep moving to keep avoiding you, I'm not the type to shoot down good advice when I hear it." And so, she kept moving.

"Oh, the bites won't kill you. I just take so much blood when I feed that you wouldn't survive... But fear not, you'll be feeding a very different hunger."
He moves, leaping over a table and landing on the far side of the room, then begins circling closer.
"I suppose you can keep moving if you wish, but really, I can see in this darkness and you cannot... How much do you believe it will gain you?"
His voice moves slowly closer, sounding from a different place each time he speaks, but always just a little bit nearer.
"I'm not unreasonable though. If you wish, I'll stay back while you remove all your clothes... So they don't get ripped to shreds when I tear them off you and enjoy your naked body anyway."

"How about we opt for no death and no sex either, hm?" Persephone said, actually grinning a little. Being around screaming, raving, squealing and even downright scary girls all the time had really skewed the girl's perception a little. Then again, they had been pretty messed up before Shokushu. Add in a few encounters and you'd have the Persephone of today, who laughed when faced with this situation, rather than cowering or backing down. She even found it a little humorously ironic.
She could hear him coming closer. It was probably on purpose. No true predator allowed his prey to know he was coming, unless it was exactly what he wanted. While she didn't have supersonic hearing and couldn't pinpoint exactly where he was coming from, the girl somehow managed to move in the opposite direction of the vampire coming her way.
"How very courteous of you," she stated rather sarcastically, when he mentioned letting her take her clothes off instead of just ripping them off. Well, she had met some rather 'gentlemanly' monsters out to fuck her brains out before. A couple of them even folded her clothes for her--as mind boggling as it was. Even stripping them off of her carefully. Of course, the fact that they'd fuck her until the cows came home kind of ruined the nice fuzzy feelings she sometimes got when 'her boys' decided to play nice before getting rough.
Yeah, this island had some strange things living on it.
"However unreasonable you are, I am, on the other hand, someone who would rather forego having sex with a complete stranger again for the next while...especially unadultered rape."

"I wouldn't call in unadulterated rape- after all, you know by now that you'll end up fucking just as hard as I do once your body gets into things."
He moves again. Even if she could see, he is fast and agile enough that she'd have trouble keeping away from him. In this situation...
"But are you sure you want to lose this fine dress?" He breathes, his voice suddenly in her ear. Fortunately she can't see him, and how he's perched and stretched out on a bench to be able to do this in the corner she's backing into. But his large, taloned hands reach out, and a sharp claw nicks a button away before he pulls back.

She bit her lip. Damn habits.
"Hey, you're the one who cried rape first. So I'm just calling as you see it." She paused a moment, trying to discern his form in the darkness, but to no avail. "And like I'd let myself fuck you back." There came that blush again and the sudden wave of mental images brought on by her own very active imagination. She beat herself up mentally. Girls aren't supposed to bend that way! She berated herself. Nor are they supposed to cuddle up to monsters.
She was such a hypocrite though. Even when she had been taken forcibly, made to come more times than she'd care to count, she still...well, one wouldn't call it friendship, but a sort of weird and twisted affection for her captors. Maybe she was suffering from weird form of Stockholm syndrome. And then again, only Persephone seemed intent on more than just squirming and screaming and creaming all over the place like most of the girls. She had an open curiosity and a side to her that actually played nice with the monsters of the island. It really was a mind blowing concept at times.
But in this case...
Not even that demon that got her once made her bristle this much.
Persephone shivered and stepped away, turning around to hopefully face him in the dark. Her arms found themselves around her body, a flimsy defense against whatever he'd have in mind.
"As much as I'd love to give you a show as I strip...I'd prefer getting out of here without getting molested by someone." She smiled. "Even someone as charming as you are."
