Jaz hadn't been at the school for very long, but she was finding it easier than she'd been told. She was over-confident in her abilities in learning, and one of her teachers, noticing this, decided that Jaz would be perfect for a study at the N.I.C.E labs. One day after class, she called Jaz over.

"I figured, with your quick brain and cleverness, you might like to take part in a study at the Labs. I'm sure they would like your help there." The teacher said, handing over a form. Jaz felt elated. She was being asked to take part in a study at the labs? She couldn't believe it. Of course, she had her story wrong. She thought she would be assisting a study. Eagerly signing her name, she handed the form back. She hadn't even bothered to read it. The teacher beamed.

"Be at the docks tomorrow morning, around 9. A boat will take you over to the lab, and you will receive further instructions from there. You don't need to take anything with you. Everything will be provided there." The teacher said. She knew that Jaz had gotten her facts wrong, but she was the last person that would ever correct a student in their beliefs. Indeed, the teacher wore a self-satisfied smirk on her lips as Jaz headed out.

The next morning, bright and early, she stood on the dock, ready to get the boat over to the lab, her heart pounding in excitement at the ideas that were going through her head. Would she be needed to run tests, to help others? She couldn't wait.

Selected via a poll, the mercenary was now on a boat heading towards the campus. Being one of the most intelligent monsters, his help was requested in doing a test for this smart girl that didn't have much time in campus but appeared to be cleverer than average. But it seemed the girl has not encountered any monsters yet, so Rahs was told to hide his identity with a long coat. Due his helmet would pretty much scare/give off his identity, he hesitantly left in the labs and opted for wearing the large hood that the coat had.

Jaz would be able to see the boat coming in the distance, and possibly tell that there was only one 'man' on board. It carefully stopped in the docks and the tall figure went to help the young student in the boat. It was then that Rahs noticed even through the clothes she was wearing that she had a large bosom. "Please sit down Miss Storek, we'll reach the N.I.C.E. Labs shortly," he said as he gestured to the bunch of seats that the boat had aligned along its deck, knowing her name from the file he read. His whole body was covered by the coat and the gloves he wore, the hood projecting a shadow over his face that made it impossible for anyone to see it, it was like if she would stare into nothingness if she tried to look at his face.

The simple, yet futuristic boat roared to life as the mercenary took the helm again and headed towards the odd buildings in the distance. "You're going to help our scientists in the labs to conduct a test with your quick-thinking brain, Miss Storek. Not many girls are praised by their intelligence so you should feel flattered for being asked to help with this experiment." Rahs was talking like if he was part of the labs, possibly just a helper there but it was all just a facade.

Soon, the boat reached the labs and the pair got off the boat and walked on a large set of stairs that led inside. It was a cold and cloudy day, and rain was threatening to make the trip back a bit difficult, but that only would give them more time with her. As they stepped inside, the mercenary asked Jez to take a seat again in the reception. The room she was going to be in was being prepared and while she waited, Rahs proceeded with the next step of the plan. He went inside a small room where he took a glass and poured his strong aphrodisiac in it with a tentacle. The drug could certainly be confused with water, since it was very clear and tasted like mineral water. He went back with Jaz and offered her the glass. "You'd do fine if you keep yourself hydrated for today's test," the mercenary suggested as his tall figure towered over the girl.

Jaz saw the boat, and her heart skipped, excitement flooding her. She saw the one person, and shrugged, not really caring about that. There were probably heaps more people waiting at the labs, waiting for her. She stepped into the boat, and sat down, pushing her long hair back, and looked at the man. Okay, she was a little creeped by the fact that he was wearing gloves, and his hood covered his face so she couldn't see him.

She listened to him as he spoke, looking up at the man, and nodded, her hands, clasped in her lap, got a little sweaty from nervousness, but she pushed the thought from her mind. This was an honour. She wondered what the experiment would involve, but she was sure she'd find out later. Jaz nodded. She felt extremely flattered. Though she didn't know what to say, her mouth was suddenly dry.

Following him off the boat, she took note of the clouds that threatened to open up, but she didn't mind it. She had a feeling she wouldn't want to leave, she was finally doing something that she would enjoy. Quickly following the man, she sat down as she was instructed to, then looked up as he came back. She took the glass "Really? That's interesting. I've never heard of testing making one thirsty, but all right." She says, and took the glass that was offered to her, and drank it down in a few long gulps, then put the glass down, and looked up at the towering figure.

The mercenary noticed that for being told that Jaz would be excited about being taken to the labs, she was pretty silent the whole trip. Maybe she can't talk due the excitement? Even so, she wouldn't get much info on the test... Rahs thought as the blonde girl took the glass and looked at him.

"The fatigue that occurs if you work too much in a lab can make you thirsty, but that's not what I meant. For this specific experiment, we would like you to be refreshed and have your mind active and eager to work," the mercenary replied to Jaz as she looked at him one more time. Not wanting to risk someone seeing his face, Rahs took a few steps back until his back rested against a wall. People in lab coats were passing by and looked pretty busy. A certain scientist looked at Rahs as he walked towards a hall and the soldier shook his head in an almost unnoticeable manner. With that, the scientist kept walking. The next step was to wait until the aphrodisiac took effect and then take her to the test room to finally have some fun.

Jaz had nodded, and once she'd downed the glass, she watched him. She saw the different people pass by, wondering what else was done here, when she saw a scientist look at Rahs, saw his reaction, and then the other scientist moving off rather swiftly. Jaz thought that that was rather suspicious, and for the first time since it had all started, she started having niggling doubts in her mind. She wished, now, that she hadn't drunk the soda water that had been given her.

Her mind was trying to grasp at the different thoughts, but one thought popped to the surface as her body seemed to react, she didn't know quite how it did so, she hadn't done anything even remotely sexually stimulating, yet her body started to grow warmer, her nipples taut, her nethers tingling. Suddenly, he heard how Jaz made her question and smiled, though thankfully, his reaction was not visible. "I don't quite get what you mean..." he replied, crossing his arms and resting his body on the wall until suddenly a female scientist came and talked to her, "Ah, good morning Miss Storek! We're sorry to have kept you waiting but the maintenance team took longer to prepare the room. Would you kindly follow me?"

With that, a very warm smile on her face and a very revealing cleavage, the scientist gestured Jaz to follow her. After the student made her way behind the scientist, Rahs followed too. His tall figure and the hazel colored coat made him stand out from the rest of the people. Turning a few corners through the seemingly endless white halls, the trio stopped in front of a wide door that was opened by the scientist and she then let the student in. After doing so, she did as well followed by the mercenary that closed the door.

Four, tall white walls surrounded Jaz. Right in front of her, part of the wall had a one-way window that reflected what was inside. In the two corners near the door, important-looking machinery was placed with many buttons and lights going on and off. One of the other two had a small console on top of a tall and small table with wheels. The other one only had a door that led to the room behind the window. But what attracted the most attention was a very comfortable-looking chair that had a practically unnoticeable division in the middle with the pretext that it was for the user's comfort. "Sit down please, Miss Storek, the test will begin shortly," said the scientist as she gestured Jaz to sit down on the chair and then disappeared through the door in the corner. Rahs was resting on a wall before moving behind the movable console in the corner, his hidden face looking at the student as she sat down and noticing how her nipples were poking even through her shirt, just in time for the experiment.

Jaz had a sudden urge to run, to get away, but before she could put the thought into action, Rahs had responded, and she looked at him. She was about to tell him she didn't believe him when the female scientist came over. "Good morning." She said in reply, then listened to her, and nodded. "It's okay." Jaz looked at the Rahs, then followed the woman, not really sure why she was, but it at least got her mind off the feelings that were spreading through her body.

Following the woman, Jaz looked around, not really sure where they were headed, though she knew that she wouldn't get far if she tried to make a run for it, or if she had the option to wander around. All this went through her mind as they walked, then stopped as the scientist did, watching her open the door. Heading inside, she looked around, wondering what was going on. This wasn't what she'd pictured at all. Looking around the room, she saw the different machinery, though it was all foreign to her, then saw the chair at the same time she was told to sit down.

Without thinking, she sat down on the chair, then she looked at Rahs. "I don't understand. I thought I was helping the experiment, not taking part." She says, understanding filling her. She moved to get up, not comfortable anymore, seeing him look at her body, and a shudder went through her. "I won't be the experiment." She says.

It seemed that the girl was quick to catch up to the situation, and Rahs was aware of it as they headed towards the room. She looked hesitant, a great contrast when compared to how excited she was before reaching the labs. The mercenary listened as he rested on the wall and Jaz talked about she thought it was gonna be another way. But just as she was gonna stand up, leather straps shot up from the chair and held her wrists and legs tightly. It also felt too hard to be leather but it was the only thing that a normal girl would think of it when looking at it. At the same time, Rahs raised his hands as if he was saying he didn't activate the straps.

"Ah, but you are Miss Storek. Your great capacity to learn and adjust to situations are something the labs need for an invention. An OS with a very human personality is Dr. Betril's current project, and your quick-thinking will be simulated by it. You are contributing to the experiment really... But failure to comply will result in punishment." Just as he finished speaking, some chords got attached to Jaz's head. Their purpose was to read her mind's signals but since the whole experiment was a lie, their true goal was to send pictures and feelings to the girl. "Several situations and problems will be presented to you, and depending on your answer I will have to praise you somehow, or have to deal a bit of 'motivation'... The test will now begin."

Jaz felt rather than saw the straps wrap around her wrists, and over her legs. She tried to fight, but found that to be rather fruitless. She looked down at the straps, then over at Rahs, seeing his hands in the air. It didn't matter to her though. She could tell that people were watching. He may not have activated the straps, but she knew someone had. She listened to him, settling back in the chair, her heart pounding, her arousal having all but disappeared.

She tried to understand the concept of the experiment, but for some reason was finding it hard. Maybe her hysteria or fear was causing her to react slowly. It went slightly beyond the class's teachings but if Jaz was really as clever as everyone said, it would be somehow possible for her to deduce something close to the answer if not guessing correctly. It wasn't all that bad, she thought. Listening to Rahs, she focused on the problem, nodding as she was told the problem had a time limit. She knew it was correct, and hoped there weren't many more questions so she could go back to her dorm and study, and relieve herself this sudden lust need.
