The captain sighed as the holographic image flickered.

“Can't it wait? I can't spare Mia given that these gear heads -”

“Captain, the situation is grave. The Xagi are acting up in that sector of space and there is no telling if they will attack the world in question. Keep Mia. Hope will suffice captain. She's got experience against the Xagi if they prove to be an issue and has even met the target before. Lieutenant?”

“Yes, ma'am?” Hope stepped forth and saluted.

“You are to go to Destra and follow up these rumors about this advance technology, see if there is any truth behind them and procure them if possible. They are in the possession of a women called Krisna Callvello. Known associate being the former pirate captain Destiny Imaldris, otherwise known as Scorch. The two have been reported as traveling together along with a droid. Proceed with caution, headquarters out.”

The hologram dissolved.

“Looks like you're on your own in this one kid. Use the shuttle in the Behemoth. Don't scratch it up I just had it painted.”

“Yes, ma'am.” She saluted and headed off to Destra it was ...

Destra had been a world on an established trade route. It had been line with skyscrapers and had served as a place where the law was not so strong. Corporations had ruled here and their own police force patrolled the planet.

It was from here that Scorch got most of her information about the corporations she robbed while she was a captain. She made it a point not to mess around with the top 5 companies here to avoid unwanted attention. She had a price on her head with corporations though none that existed here.

Back at the casino she had learned that their search took them here, Cinder she had found had been doing some work with Fuya who had already met Krisna. The two had done a minor job retrieving an engine from a ship for a spider-like alien Dreg who was said to be on Destra so that is where they had gone.

Stupid corporations … they had to wait for everything and it took a few days waiting for an appointment to see the guy who had told them that he had just given the engine to a fellow named Ven, a Hel'Corian that wanted it and went through him to get it. He and his ship of machines had just left to Marca.

Of course in the time they had to kill here Krisna managed to stick out more than once with her technologies but it was about time to depart.

“Onto Marca, with any luck we can catch up. Odd that there's another Hel'Corian. From what I know about him, which isn't much, is that he was arrested by the ADD and got released early because he volunteered for some sort of project.”

Back at the casino Krisna ran into troble with a man named Cinder if that was even his real name befor narrowly escaping being captured and take onboard the mans ship to parts unknown. Afther returning to Scorch how ever the travler learned their journy would betaking them els where to diffrent world Krisna took the pleasure of documenting. Since Krisna never heard of a world being controled by giga corps like Destra she was sure to spend extra time here cataloging just about everything note worth befor taking off.

It was what Scorch found that intreasted her the most, recalling these Hel'corians from her time as a vast race of geneticly engiered warriors and works. Krisna dont know much other then their involvment in the founding of the G.A.P and the Collectors guild. She also knew they did her time brake up into sevral waring factions that still fought over territory at one point in time but she choose to leave that out when speaking to Scorch as the curious travler fallowed Scorch to where ever they where off too next.

"I wonder why the ADD would just release some one like that, from what I get about him he was simply a bad person." Krisna said smiling as she fallowed closly behind Scorch.

Fellow agent Nail had captured the Hel'Corian. In fact she was one herself or a half-breed or something, Hope had yet to work with her and only knew vague details surrounding Ven's capture and release. Something about 80 or 90% of the est subjects dying so it was a huge risk. If she were not mistaken it involved genetic experiments of some sort but Hope did not follow the case too closely. It did not assist her as a Sweeper after all.

By the time she got to Destra her investigations revealed that the women with the strange treasures had been seen with a red head matching Scorch's description.

They had spent a great deal of time hanging around the business districts and a few bribes here and there had uncovered were they were staying and what docking birth they had been at.

Flight control was flashed her credentials and it was revealed that the pair listed a flight to Marca. She dwelled on what she knew of Marca first … that was the world of techies wasn't it? Robot factories and gear heads, Mia would feel at home there … she followed ...

They were probably safe to split up here if they wished. The world had a great many of factories of course and most of the people here were mechanical rather than organic. Save for the security droids and those manufactured for warfare. Most of the security models would have been sequestered away or serve as law enforcement fog guests to the world since he droids (unless reprogrammed by another) were generally harmless.

Scorch was more at ease here. Ven's ship, a large battle ship had been in orbit so he was probably still on the planet.

Asking around about Ven they got an address of a place that he was heard going to when he got out of his shuttle. He had not taken his shuttle back up and so he was probably still down here.

“Alright, he might be back here and I'd hate to miss him. Wait here for him in case he shows up while I'm checking this place out.”

Once on Marca Krisna was over joyed to see the number of things she could catalog here. Factories, robotics you name as Krisnavwas like a kid in a andy store scaning and documenting just about every thing they saw that was amazing in any way and thiswas just fist stepping out of the starship port. Further strolling ito the City Krisnafound more and more amazing things. How the city used robotic police force intreasted the travler enough to scan several robotic officers befor moving on, fallowing Scorch closly behind. Scorch all ready warned her one to stay close and close Krisna stayed untell they reach a certain building where Ven was sopost to be seen around afther the two gathered some information.

Krisna was perpaired to fallow Scorch in befor the travler paused seeing her red haired friend turn around, telling her to wait out side untill she got back but befor Krisna could object Scorch was gone leaving the travler alone agin out side as she huffed with disapointment and looked for a place to wait for Scorch.

Hope pushed the engines of the shuttle a bit. It wasn't the fastest of things and no doubt Mia would have gotten better performance out of the engines but this would do. When she exited hyperspace she did some general scans. The space lanes had been busy transporting shipments of droids in bulk freighters.

There was also a battleship that stoke out along with a few patrol craft. Getting into cue she sets down, barely getting enough juice out of the engines before her modifications shorted out the engines when she came into the system. She still had the lateral thrusters, the repulsor lift engines and got the ship into port alright but the engines had to be toyed with to get it in operational order again. She had some techies do it charging the repairs to the ADD.

She asked about weapon restrictions on the world and found that it was permissible to carry but not discharge them in the cities so she strapped a blaster to her thigh, stashed a tanto on her and hung her Nagai katana at her side, the technique in making the alien blades eluded her but the weapon could carve through most alloys and had been hard enough to even scratch diamond which was saying a lot to it's effectiveness. Now she just had to find her target ….

At the docking platforms there were places to sit, benches near the streets though the cars hovered and ran on some sort of repulsor engine that gave them some clearance from the ground though usually no more than a meter or two. Other cars, air cars, had greater clearance and moved through the air ways though most had been operated by machines.

Quebos. That was who Ven had come here to see Scorch had found some sort of doctor or scientist she gathered by the plaques and name tiles engraved into the wall but as she traced down Ven she was unaware that she had been tracked in return.

From a coffee shop across the street Krisna could see a large lizard-like creature with cybernetic parts clad to his body. To his left there was a being encased in gray armor though he had no weapons the reptile did.

Ven looked at the girl, said something to his companion then with Quebos he crossed the street, hands clasped behind his back as he approached her, his cybernetic left eye giving her the once over.

“Greetings. Waiting for your date?”

The travler sighed as she watched Scorch leave, walking away to who knows agin. leaving Krisna alone to her own devices agin. It was ironic really Krisna loved to watch her walk away, checking out her lovers firm rear as she left but shoke her self out of the little day dream befor thinking she should find a place to wait for Scorch as she did her thing.

Walikng over to the benchs she remainbers seeing by the docking port near the street is where Krisna took her seat and relaxed kicking back to wait. The travler afther losing her clothes back at the casino was givin a new pair of clothes from Scorchs closet while on their trip here. Now wearing a pair of white boots and black leggings, with a white skirt and form fitting white sleveless top that ending just above her belly button, fiished off of chorse with Krisna typical utlity belt and thigh holster.

Krisna simply waited outside, watching the hover vehicals zoom past above while sitting with onebleg over the other on the benche befor she noticed two intreasting looking gentel men step out of a near by store. One a reptline man clade in cybernetics and armor while the other was just in a set of bleek gray armor befor Krisna noticed they noticed her befor they approched as thetravler was sure she should run or stay put not wanting to repeat a Cid situation agin.

The travler held her ground they aproched, sitting pretty as allways only to kindlysmile at them afther the odd mans question. "I-i guess you could say that." Krisna said nervously befor tring to calm her self down and smiled agin befor scooting over on the bench offering them a place to sit. "My friend went looking for some one I'm just waiting for her to get back." It was kind of the truth as she kindly smiled.

Her investigation began at the star port. She regretted not getting the information about the ship that Scorch was using though if the Add had it they probably would have made mention of it.

So Hope has to use what she knew. Blasting enemies was what she excelled at as a Sweeper. She and her team went to compromised areas and “purified” them when possible or shuttled them when not. Investigations were out of her element though but sill she was chosen for a job and she was going to do it.

After a few minutes she hit upon a promising lead from an old women that had seen the pair not too long ago. Hope had hurried along in that indicated direction.

“Hm.” He nodded at her response. He eyed the weapon that she had, “It's a shame that you'd be stuck here waiting. That weapon? You any good with it.” He was straight to the point after all he did no wish to waste time. The shuttle was close by anyway, he had a couple of minutes to kill and he wouldn't be long … already he could feel it as he reached out ...

The travler look at the two men curiously as they both just seemed to stare back, not taking a seat. They both seemed to be in a bit of a hurry as Krisa watched them, scaly one seeming to be intrested in her and her omni tool as Krisna simply smiled. "Yah, but luckly she said she would hurry..... Weapon?" Krisna said confused as she looked at the other alien with a stranged glare, wondering what he ment befor she saw he was looking at her omni tool befor she smiled. " Of chorse I am but..." Krisna said as she reached down and unholstered it off her thigh and smiled as she pointed it twords the strangers agin, displaying it for them to see. "Its not a weapon... You see its my Optimal, Multie, Nature, Insterment, or simply Omni tool for short. It can just about do anything." Krisna stated simply.

“AFFIRMATIVE. THEY WENT TWO BLOCKS DUE EAST AND TURNED LEFT FIVE MINUTES AND FORTY-TWO SECONDS AGO …"

“Thanks … er, which way is East?” The droid pointed this out for her and she hurried off in that direction. That was near one of the starports if she was reading the map she had downloaded onto the wrist read out that she had been inclined to grab.

As luck had it Mia had left the gadget in the shuttle probably for her own use if they ever had need of the shuttle. It was a useful tool, one she thought about getting, it could even be useful in her work.

“Hm … interesting,” Ven was looking at the tool, it looked strange and seemed to have grabbed to attention of Quebos who had been concealed in that concealed pressurized suit of his. The scientist had a thing for technology and this was no different.

“May I?”

He asked to see the tool though Ven realized that Quebos was interested in it. The guy paid well for the Ashen tech he found but for this? Well he could acquire the tool and while he wasn't a slaver he had been more the waste not sort. If he acquired the girl so be it, that was extra money after all.

“You'll be coming with us I'm afraid. It wouldn't be wise to generate a scene either though you're welcome to try ...”
