The docking clamp tightens, letting out a puff of air.

Clemens smiles, his hand drawing along Minerva's rear. "Okay...we're here."

We will just have to make sure that does not happen.

The ship jerked a bit, as it docks with the larger ship.

Minerva could feel a hand moving along her rear, I guess a tour is order.

Clemens nodded as the locks opened, the two walking into a standard entrance bay, similar to the entryway of a house, complete with side tables and galactic works of art, some Minerva might recognize...

But something seemed off. There were no other guards here. The air smelled of ozone, a telltale sign of recent laser fire...

Clemens nodded as he opened the door to the ship. The room seemed to be standard affair you would be expect to great you on entering a ship. There were tables and art from throughout the galaxy...

But yet there was something wrong. I smell ozone....someone fired a weapon here. Where are the guards? I think we are in trouble?

The escort frowned, drawing his own weapon. "Yes...this does look suspicious. I'll keep watch. You better arm yourself..."

Right. The agent quickly went through her bag, pulling out a pistol to arm herself. She begins to load the weapon as they get ready to check out the ship.

Clemens would take lead, peeking around a corner. More rare artifacts , some taking up a bit of a...naughty theme. Sexual totems, females, in various forms of undress, nothing that would surprise the agent too much.

The smell of ozone seemed thicker here...

Clemens took lead as she pulled out her pistol, unlike most people in space her gun was automatic. She preferred the more primitive firearm as she had more experience with it. As Clemens took a moment to peer around the corner, she couldn’t help but notice more of the room they were in. There many artifact, those of various women both human and alien in states of undress and some provocative poses. Though it was nothing that should have surprised the red head. As she moved up behind Clemens she realized something else, the ozone smelled stronger over here…

Clemens turned as Minerva approached from behind, pointing to the other room. Looks like the battle was long over. Laser scoring and bullet holes marked the walls, ruining the few sculptures and paintings nearby. Three bodies, two with guild uniforms, one of them...lizardy. Bipedal. Must have been one of the alien invaders...

The two moved into the room with their guns drawn and out. But the battle that took place here had been long over. The room was covered with laser burns and bullet holes. Some of the erotic sculptures and paintings were destroyed in the battle. Bodies lay on the floor, two wearing a guild uniform. But the third was some sort of lizard like alien. Minerva frowned, We need to see if there any survivors, and we assume that ship has been completely taken over.

Clemens kneeled over the bodies, checking their wounds and faces. "We can rule these out." He points over to the entrance to the opposite corridor. "Take a peek over there. I'll check the opposite rooms."

Clemens checked to see if there was any signs of life on the bodies but quickly ruled that out before they moved ahead. Got it. Minerva quitely moved over to the opposite corridor to take a look at what might beyond the enterance as Clemens cleared the remaining rooms.

Minerva emerges into the bedroom. Double bed with satin sheets, elaborate paintings of erotic scenes from Greek and Roman mythology, certainly showing the professor's lecherousness...and speaking of which, there he was on the floor, spread eagled, eyes wide in shock, a bullet hole graced between his eyes. Dead.

Soon, Clemens walks in behind her.

Minerva raced in the bedroom gun drawn. Almost at once she could see could see the room that matched the professor’s lecherous reputation. The room was covered with erotic scenes of Greeks and Romans, presumably from mythology or an ancient Roman house of prostitution. Satin sheets covered the double bed, but the professor was not there. Instead he was on the floor, his arms and legs spread out. A bullet hole was in head, between his shocked lifeless eyes. A pool of blood slowly forming around his head.

Rats, we are too late. The agent looked around to if the assassin was still around, perhaps hiding in the room.

Clemens noticed the body too, taking in a sharp intake of breath. "What a way to go," he said aloud. He watched as Minerva searched the room, kneeling next to the body of his ex-boss. He shakes his head softly. "Whoever was here left a long time ago. No survivors."
