MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
Slowly and quietly, the Lancer space fighter approached the Space colony X-113. Recently abandoned, the colony had shown no signs of life. In fact it looked like a failed dead colony on the outside, so much so that the ADD had left it alone. However, the red headed agent had tracked a spaceship heading to colony. There was only one reason to head to abandoned colony, to avoid one's activity being spotted.
Sliently the Lancer pulled up to airlock and Minerva parked the Lancer and got out. Slowly she got the door unlocked and made her way into the colony. Her flightsuit may have had armor on it but it did little to hide her curves. She pulled out a rifle and got ready. Somebody was here, she mad to make sure why...

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
They waited. The colony, their home, was doing well to avoid detection. However they knew that someone would arrive, and they knew if they did they would act accordingly. Up in the Colonies main control room a lone creature viewed out into the distant never ending blackness of space. He stayed there for long hours looking out pondering and ever more curiouse at what lay out there in the deep blackness. He was the one who spotted it, the decoy ship they had commandeered some time ago was making its autopilot run back into the hangar. It wasnt that whatcaught his attention, it was the new ship, a different one, lancer if he remebered from the data banks. He almost pressed himself up to the glass to watch it. However he soon overroad his own curiosity and sent a message over the hive mind. Several levels below he could hear the skittering and hissing of his fellow family as they realised they were in for an encounter. Above all else he heard the Matriarch issueing orders through the hive mind, bennding his family to follow. He however ignored her and stayed where he was. He made special attention to where the ship docked and the minute it stopped moving, he started.
With agile and grace he tore himself through the holes made in the control room, slipped into the vents and slithered down the levels, taking turns, dropping through holes before he vaulted out of the vent and onto the ceiling. He slithered with a speed even regular xenomorphs had to extend themselves for. This was his home and he knew every inch of it. it took him merely a matter of minutes to reach the corridor that the new commer would most likely take. He saw his kin hiding all around, watching and expertely hidden for his signal or his command. When it came down to this he controled the hive-mind and he gave the orders. He remained on the ceiling looking down, completely hidden in the shadows as he waited.
As minerva would move along she would first notice that the walls and the ceiling seemed to have been changed into something alien, covered in a strange black matrial that almost looked like the inside of a shell, rippled and contorted. The air had a kind of humid feel to it, and she would notice that alot of the gratings on the ceiling, loors, and walls are ripped through and or melted once she traveled along. It was also black and dark with no overhead or light source of anykind beside one she would provide herself. It appeared that the power was out.

Minerva pulled out her rifle and began to make her way further into the colony. The first think she noticed was despite being abandoned, the station had a very humid air. Despite the humidity, there was no lighting of any kind. Minerva turned on a light on her suit, but was completely unprepared for the situation she was about to see.
The ceiling and the sides were covered in some sort of black material, it was like she was in some sort of inside out turtle. The only think that was even recognizable where some grating on the ceiling, floors, and walls. Even these appeared to be ripped out or melted through. Minerva still had seen evidence of whatever was in this colony, but she was pretty sure it was occupied. She decided to be more cautious as she explored the colony.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
He waited, and saw her outline before he saw her. Since she was equiped with her rifle he gave a small hiss of dissaproval since in his vision her outline was a red one. He moved into one of the sleeping coves his kin used and curled into it, making himself seem a part of the strange material around them. He knew where he lay was out of sight but he needed to make sure he could keep observing her without having to worry about that troublesome weapon. He decided to play with her a little, as was his nature, and make things interesting. He sent his own subconciouse into one of his kin and dominated it to go to the main control room and flick on the necessary floor lightning to make a path to said control room.
With this he also made two of his kin make some small noise, making the glowing path and the almost dead map boards that where barely flickering show her the path to the main control room. An experienced ADD agent as herself would no doubt think that patroling around in complete darkness despite her flashlight would be...troublesome.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
Slowly some lights began to flicker to life in the corridor, providing a little additional light to the agent's flashlight. Minerva looked around and saw that there was a map on the wall that barely came to life. It showed a path to the main control room. The agent did a quick glance to get her bearings, to see where she was in relation to the map.
It was then she noticed that only the path lit was towards the main control room. Minerva could hear some small noise along that path. Clearly it was some sort of trap, she would have to move very cautiously along it. Still if the main control room still worked, then being able to light the station would be well worth the risk.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
The female agent would see little change in her scenary as she walked along. Every so often she would hear a clink of metal, a rattle of a vent, or the sounds of sparks in the distance. Of course being as decrepite as the station was she was probably just jumping at shadows and non harmful sounds of a dying colony. She would also see a few markers, old barely lit signs stating where she was and what some rooms were. She also came across a few more maps on her way. However as she came to a spot where she would have to move up a few levels, she would see that the stair case was collapsed and if she tried climbing up it'd be difficult. So she'd either have to find another way or try climbing.
Not so far behind, he stalked her, having moved out of the sleeping cubby. He waited, curiouse to see how she would react and what she would do. He could feel his kin near him anticipating his signal to strike but staying away. He wanted her to make this interesting. if she chose the easy path he'd be dissapoited, if she didnt he'd watch with great interest.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
Minerva was absolutely sure she was being followed, with the strange noises around her. However whenever she looked around she saw nothing. It was then she came across her first major obstacle. The stairways leading futher towards into the colony had collapsed, a victim to the years of neglect. She could turn around another route but that would could take a long time to go around if such a route was possible. However climbing up the stairs was going to difficult.
The agent sighed as she holstered her rifle, she made sure her pistol was ready to go incase she needed it. Slowly she reached out with one hand to find a firm position before putting her feet on the wrecked stairways. She would have to take it one step at the time if she was to make any progress towards the center of the colony.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
he was glad he wasnt dissapointed, the woman had slung her main weapon to proceed upward instead of looking for a safer route. He decided as to make things more interesting he would sit and wait, knowing that she would have to climb up six levels before she could find purchase to head to the main control room. He watched her avidly climb until she had made some good distance up before he nearly ripped out the closest vent, a sound that would be barely audible to the agents ears, and slither his way up to a spot he would be able to watch as she ascended. He would wait there untill she passed the fourth level before he would bring himself out into the shadows. Being the best in his family he lunged, his figure unseen until he passed through her flashlight and even then it was only a black streak that was there for barely an instant. As he went by her all she would feel was a slight breeze and the feeling of her rifle leaving its holster and then hear the sound of it clatter down into the black depths she had just ascended from. This would leave here with nothing but her pistol and any other concealed weapons she might be carrying. After having done that he vanished back into the vents and sat calmly and patiently to see if she would continue on or if she would retrieve her weapon.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
The red headed agent had gotten no further than the fourth level when she thought she heard something ahead of her. She brought up her flashlight to see if she could see anything. At first there was absolutely nothing, the agent sighed, her mind was playing trick on her. Then suddenly there was a black streak that appeared out of nowhere and disappeared with a slight breeze as something shot by her. Minerva felt a tug, as her rifle off her and tumbled off into the darkness.
Way down below her, Minerva heard a clatter as the rifle hit the ground below. The red headed agent spun the flashlight around trying to draw a bead on whatever blurred by her. However what it was it was gone. This isn't good, I definitely not alone. And whatever around me is starting to play with me. She was pretty sure her rifle had been damaged in the fall, but she needed to make sure. She was definitely not alone, and until she knew what she was dealing, she needed to as well armed as possible.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
He was surprised by her decision. He had thought maybe she would press on, but instead she was back tracking to regain her lost weapon for an added defence. Despite how tactically sound it was he decided it was time to make her feel that pressing on was to her advantage in this instance. Moving through the airducts he makes it a few levels below them and into a sealed room where any noise would be muted and unhearable unless in close proximity. In this room laid his own special brand of egg layers, re-designed so they didnt leave eggs of his kin but had a different ability. He carassed three of the eggs, causing them to open up and after a moment the egg layers crawled out and skittered out of the room, in search of the agent per his orders. After doing this, he used his dominance in the hive-mind to bring one of his kin to him. It approched wearily but obediantly, as he reared up and struck its neck with his second mouth, injecting his own 'blood' into it so it would change. The tortured screams filled the room but never would reach the agents ears.
As minerva would get to the ground she would notice that her rifle sling was sliced through, but other words it was fine. However she would also notice that she wasnt alone, as she would hear numerouse skittering noises coming from different locations and directions.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
No. Whatever that was had cut through her rifle sling was extremely sharp, more sharp than it should be. Someone...or something was playing with her and whatever it was keeping her from going up. Minerva looked up it was going to be a long way up if she took an alternative route and carrying the rifle was going to be extremely tough.
Minerva sighed, binding the weapon as best she could to herself. She wouldn't be able to access it, but it shouldn't be so easy to knock off either. Still the red headed agent would have to rely on her pistol as she slowly moved up. As she began to make her way up she began to hear lots of skittering noises from everywhere at once. The agent breathed out as she redoubled her efforts to get up the ladder in time, she definitely didn't want to be caught by what ever was closing on her. Especially on the ladder, where she was somewhat vulnerable.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
The skittering noises would continue, seeming to draw closer stop and then move around sometimes fading back or getting so close it almost sounded like it was right next to her. Of course it was merely the acoustics of the broken stairwell and the eerie silence that it once had. They werent very smart but with just their primal instincts and the newly genetic need to latch onto the woman they had the sence to stay away, escpecially since she now had her rifle. They waited until she was up far enough that her range and motor skills were slightly more hampered before two sprung out of the vents near the stiarwell. The two Facehuggers leapt out, one lunging for her ass as the other her face, the third one kept back to wait to lunge at her breasts since they were out of its sight and it couldnt target them yet.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
Minerva could hear things skitter nearby, like they were right on top of her. The acoustics in the place was horrible, but she could take any chances. Slowly and quietly she prepped her pistol as she moved up carefully up the latter. She had not get too far when she ears a vent pop open above and below her. Suddenly a weird six legged creature with an incredibly long tail came falling to her face. She pulled her pistol and fired above her, aiming at the creature above her. She didn't know that at exact time a second creature of the same type had used its speed to launch its own attack at her rear despite gravity. Not that it mattered she would be able to stop both of them at once.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
The one the agent fired at she succesfull hit mostly due to her training. The projectile punched a hole in the creature causing a sickly green with some yellow blood to spurt out and splatter on both her face and parts of her armour on her shoulders and the nearby walls. She'd notice right away that the places touched by the the blood started to dissolve as if a powerful acid had been placed on them. Her armour was no exception dissolving away creating holes and gaps in her armour near her shoulders. however, oddly enough the acid blood of the facehugger that had landed on her face didnt even seem to burn. instead she felt a blush like warmth go to her face. The facehugger that had launched itself to her ass was able to grab ahold onto her right cheek and with its tail it wrapped strongly around her right thigh, with its powerful suction and the grip it had with its tail any efforts to remove it with just strength would prove ineffective. If she had armour on her ass then she would not feel its main sucking mouth in the middle of it moving around. The third face hugger was still biding its time since its target was still out of reach.

Re: MR Mission 011: Homecourt advantage (for Six)
Minerva silently praised herself as the shot hit home. The creature was hit and explosion of green and yellow blood sprayed everywhere. For a moment everything was going well, then the spray hit her and the wall around her. The armor she was wearing was began to dissolve as well as parts of the wall. Her face was also hit by the blood, but oddly face merely suddenly felt warm and blush.
It was then she felt something grab on to her rear and wrapped around her thigh. The red headed agent looked down to find a similar creature had attached itself to her rear. She reached down to pull it off but she couldn't. Only her armor was protecting her. She could shoot it off, but she had to hope her armor would protect her as she took aim.
