Time to relax...

His streak of successful missions was unbreakable. That's when you don't count the ones he aborted due to lack of proper reward, or so he said. This amazing feat attracted obviously the attention of many aliens that looked for someone to hire, of some female ones and, unfortunately for him, of the ADD.

He really didn't think the little incidents he had with the Directorate in the past to be so troublesome for them... and for him. But recently, he's had a few close encounters with the agents that were actually looking for him to 'talk' about how he shouldn't go around breaking into bases, kidnapping high ranking officers and obviously raping the poor agents. If they had actually taken a more subtle way to make their point, he wouldn't resort to prove his efficiency in battle and then rape them.

But that's something they don't understand quite clearly. And since the Directorate doesn't usually dare to chase someone to a remote planet just to 'scold' him, Rahs opted to go to a world just outside the normal ADD territory and rest a little in a somewhat populated city. So after landing his ship in the port and expecting no agents whatsoever, the mercenary only traveled the city with his usual helmet, gauntlets and boots, covering his otherwise nude body with the long cloak he had.

He decided to make his first stop a nearby bar to have a few drinks before finding any form of entertainment, which wouldn't be so tough to find, considering the city looked very peaceful. But Rahs was not aware that his plans would be ruined by someone...

The city of Tartena occupies an otherwise inhospitable rock just outside ADD purview. As such, it has a reputation as something of a Wild West town. Here off-duty ADD agents mingle with traders and more nefarious types, pirates and smugglers who operate right on the border of more civilized space. The landscape of the planet's outback is hilly and muddy, the whole planet drenched in an almost perpetual, muggy rain, not the type of place Kate would usually occupy her free time with. She's starting to think some of the higher ranking officers in the organization have it out for her. Otherwise, why would she be on this little hellhole, laying it wait for a devious if not particularly high target outlaw? Sniping isn't even her specialty, but here she is.

The mark seems capable if a little surefire, completely oblivious to the fact that the last ADD agent he ran across tagged his heat signature, a means of identification without much range or accuracy but good enough to track cross-city. She missed his entrance into the city but managed to trail him to the present bar. And so she's been stretchd out here a good hour, a rooftop about a block away. Tartena is two cities, almost, the huddled crowd of the alleys and streets below and then the tangled, interweaving network of the rooftops above. The bike beneath her warms her body against the persistent, endless rainfall, sheltered in leather bodysuit, dark hair dancing free on the wind. The frame steadies her as she lounges lengthwise across it, the long sniper rifle aimed for the doorway to the bar as she just waits for the target to leave. She's been downing nerve suppressors like M&M's but her body shakes still, cursing grumpily under her breath the whole time.

Good music and laughter filled the bar inside. It was a contrasting picture when compared to the gray and perpetual rain outside. Rahs was glad his gear can't rust because it would be a pain to search for something of the same quality as Syrictae armor. Jokes and catchy tunes filled the bar inside, contrasting with the trivial conversations and grumbles of the crowd outside.

Yes. It was a good decision to come and spend a while with the merry fellows, the mercenary thought as he heard the punch line of another funny joke from a humanoid alien that played the piano and laughing with him. He had been asked by the crowd to sing them a song, and after pleasing the audience he proceeded to sit by the bar and socialize with the clients. It seems he was called Billy. His friend was the bartender and got him and Rahs free drinks when they got to talk about life in the planet.

The old man sitting next to them gave a slight cough as they kept talking and somehow time flew. The mercenary let the pianist know he was actually planning the walk around the city and look for a place to stay along with other places where he could have more fun. Billy then offered himself to show Rahs around and since it seemed nothing could wrong that day, the syrictae gladly accepted.

Standing up from their chairs, they waved the bartender goodbye and made their way to the bar's door. One last joke as they stepped outside and Biilly got his futuristic umbrella out of a pocket. They were clearly visible through the lens of a scope, and the pianist took out his device. But his hand was cold and let it fall. Rahs quickly knelt down behind him to retrieve the umbrella, unaware of the sniper with the finger on the trigger.

Somewhere in the wait, she fell asleep, a bare, fitful rest, shivering under the rain. She jumps awake as she hears the beeping from the radar in her ear and groggily, quickly sets to realign her sights. Lips twist sadistically as she settles the crosshair on the little armored bastard. Christ, it's taken him long enough. She doesn't even know what time it is, but it's late enough for the sun to have set, vision obscured by the dark and the oppressive rain, shivering still in the frigid cold, but her arm is sure, carefully leading Raitei with the pinpoint aim of the sniper. "Good night, you cunt..." she murmurs as she squeezes the trigger, the same precise moment as a crash of booming thunder tears across the sky. Lightning flashes above the crowd, the shot unheard as her arm jumps just barely, bullet whistling past Raitei's ear as it plows straight through poor Billy's skull. Billy's a big guy, a red, draconian monster of a humanoid, skin like leather, but there's a blink and then all that's left of his head is a splatter of liquid red against the back wall. With that kind of impact, Raitei has got to be thankful it wasn't him who caught the magic bullet. The crowd jumps into chaos immediately as she desperately looks for Raitei, lost in the crowd now but still in her internal radar.

"Fuck. me." she growls, irritated at the loss of her quarry, no tears lost for his new-found friend. Probably a scumbag anyway. She stashes the rifle back in the side compartment, combing back hair before pulling the insectoid helmet over it. The motor roars to life between her legs as she twists the throttle, her purr an undercurrent to the raging engine as she guns across the rooftops, chasing after Raitei in the higher network of rooftop byway.

(Ugh! Wrong tag! *Blush* SORRY!)

(No worries! )

Not even half a second passed when Rahs' mind decided to pick up the umbrella when a lightning flashed through the sky and the thunder hid the rifle's noise. Not even a full second passed as a bullet flew by, scratching his helmet and meeting Billy's face. The sniper landed a headshot on the wrong person fortunately, and his warrior instinct made him start running.

Only one second passed since the trigger was pulled when Rahs turned his head around and watched how Billy's body remained standing on the bar's entrance without a head. Poor pal Billy died and he doesn't even know it yet... Just what the fuck?

The crowd went crazy obviously, and that's not counting the shock of the people inside the bar when they knew their favorite pianist died after singing his last song. This served greatly for Rahs as he ran aimlessly at first, mixing his body with the rest of the crowd's and then reaching a sidewalk and running straight. His mind was looking for answers as his legs took him away from the bar and below some ledges to keep him from being a sitting duck.

A sniper had obviously intended to kill him, but why? Was it another soldier for hire? An old grudge? Or was it... the ADD? Nah, there's no way... For them to follow him to Tartena was too much. He could ask questions later, and so he started to plan how to deal with the threat. She was obviously on the rooftops, and probably was following him with a radar. If he went up to the rooftops he would have a better chance of taking the sniper down but would also have less places to hide in. For now, the mercenary kept running, turning around corners and through alleys hoping he was losing the deadly markswoman.

She smiles despite herself. It's nice to see one of these bastards running from her for once. He may have distance on her, and the anonymity of a crowd, but every other card seems to be in her hand. Her bike is a beast, a custom built nitrogen machine and she is hell on wheels. The unpopulated maze of roofs leaves no civilian population to slow her down but makes navigation that much perilous. Still, she responds with reckless abandon, the makeshift map patching through the holograph on her helmet display just an initial guiding point as she jumps and weaves through the shifting, plateaued landscape of the upper city. Thighs are wrapped tight around the hot rumbling engine, twisting her supine this way and that to guide the powerful machine. As she mounts a high, long stretch of motel roof, she can finally see Rahs in the alley below. Her smile turns upward, satisfied, as she unholsters the pistol from her hip.

As he kept running between the street and the crowd, Rahs couldn't help but think in the reasons why someone wanted to kill him. And since the chances were many, he decided to think in how to bring the sniper down or get some information from her. But even with the yelling and fear coming from the crowd and the loud thinking in his mind, there was one noise that followed him.

It sounded something like an engine. A powerful engine. And so, it naturally intrigued the fleeing mercenary. Deep inside there was a part of him that wanted to look at the vehicle chasing him, but his life was more precious. Though, he realized it was too late to keep running in the alleys when the sound remained close... too close.

Looking up, he saw clearly the silhouette of a woman on a motorbike holding a gun pointed at his face. If he weren't the target, Rahs would have thought that the sight was incredible. But alas, he was at the other end of the bullet's trajectory and so decided to fight back somewhat. He was never one to use his powers a lot in his favor, but the girl proved to be dangerous and he had no weapons whatsoever.

So he decided to use his magnetism to move the beast beneath her body. Even when she was on the roof, his ability allowed him to lift it into the air and flipping it around. Since he wasn't able to see the girl anymore but was sure she didn't expect that, Rahs took a ladder nearby to climb to the roof of the building and check for himself who she was and try to get some information.

There's a maniac grin under the helmet as she grinds low on the thrumming motor. The first pistol blast tears about a foot to the side of his head, ripping through the concrete of the building to his side like it was butter. She steadies the pistol, ready to pull off another shot - her finger squeezes trigger and.... the bullet flies wildly as her bike bucks under her like an irate bronco. Eyes widen in alarm under the helmet. To Kate, the bike may as well be a part of her, and to have it pull out fom underneath her is like her own body betraying her. She twists atop the machine, trying to steady it as best she can, but its flung through the air like a ragdoll, pulled upward and to the side and reluctantly she bails. The Coyote spirals into a violent crash on the street below, a horrifying screech of twisted metal and rubber.

With a violent thud, her body hits the surface of the roof. The decrepit surface of the rooftop buckles and shudders beneath the compact weight of her violent tumble, dust and debris littering the interior of the motel room beneath. The pistol goes sliding across the surface of the roof. Her body aches, her mind confused, but she's quick to push to her feet, hair snapping like a whip under the helmet. Already her mind is running with possibilities. Her bike was sabotaged, or else this monster has capabilities she was never briefed on. Paranoia is already starting to creep in as she considers the possibility that someone betrayed her on the inside, someone wanted to knock her down a peg, but she pushes those thoughts down as best she can, not out of loyalty to the company but out of the necessity of the situation. She knows the depravities this alien is capable of. By the time she's back in a crouch she's already got her combat knife clenched in one hand, her other reaching out to grasp for the gun. He's already coming. She knows this. He's quick, could be on her any second. And as fingers reach to wrap around the handle of the gun, her eyes are already sweeping around her to get her sights on the prey.

First shot was not close at all for the mercenary. He didn't even blink as his hand reached out towards the heavens, or more specifically, the female sniper. With the flick of his hand the motorbike was out of control and got thrown in the air. His move was a success, and as he started to quickly climb the ladder, he could hear the machine crashing against the street.

Oops, I hope it didn't break 'cause it sounded like a cool ride, was his only thought as his hand gripped the ledge and pulled his muscular body over it. The first thing he saw was the girl reaching out for her gun. That thing was powerful enough to penetrate concrete, which was enough to dent his armor which was something no syrictae warrior likes.

She was not facing him directly but if she looked around, the tall figure would be clearly visible. He landed on his feet and pointed a finger at her, he was not gonna be fast enough to run the whole distance and disarm when she already was having a grip on the gun. "I suggest you not to waste your bullets," he said but it was obvious she was not gonna take the suggestion. He was prepared though. Ready to stop the bullets magnetically in front of him if she pulled the trigger. And since he knew it was futile for her, he slowly started to walk towards her.

Hmf.... Her aim catches him as he's stepping back up, on her back still, unable to jump to her feet without giving him the reflexive advantage. Her arm is crossed behind her back, combat knife hidden, as she settles the manual aim of the gun on her target. "Like you're in a position to make suggestions...." she snarls. Three shots are fired in quick succession, easy clean, headshots. Or at least they should be.

Post Re: Urban chase (Anna Lenox)
Because I just threw you off your bike without even touching it, right... His hand lowered a bit when she talked back and made it look like he was completely defenseless. It was in that moment that Rahs decided to play a bit with her. The need to know about the reasons were moved to the back of his head as he recognized the pistol in her hand.

She's ADD after all... he thought as the shots were fired. It was piece of cake for him to stop bullets but decided to play along for a while. Rahs stopped the bullets before they reached his helmet and then collided them with the gear to make it look like he suffered the same fate the pianist did, though in a less gruesome way. If they had not been controlled by him, they would have not pierced the helmet but would have caused damage nonetheless.

So as they got stuck magnetically to the mask, he threw his body backwards, flying through the air. His cloak opened and swayed around as his tall figure fell on the roof, bouncing once before playing dead. Most of his muscular body was on display now. His chest did not rise but along with his legs and his huge cock, it was getting soaked by the rain. The thought of being killed so easily like that was not enjoyable at all, but seeing her reaction when he proved not to be dead was too promising to be ignored.

"Hmph.... Is that all?" The gun is lowered at her side, but she's certainly still cautious. Playing possum isn't a tactic exclusive to Rahs. It seems to be something these sneaky fucks do by habit. "Code of honor, my ass..." she mutters. She's read the report. The poor girls. So, naturally she's cautious as she approaches on Rahs. The knife hums in her hand, the faint blue glow of a hypersonic energy blade visible through the murk of the rain, vibatring technology, sharp enough to saw through stainless steel like butter. The ceiling beneath them creaks as she slowly closes in on her prey, knife in one hand, gun in the other. Her leather creaks in response, tight, athletic body practically melted into the violet and black suit. When she's close enough, she'll swoop in quick, quick enough to sink into a straddle and slice his throat ear to ear with one smooth twist of the knife. You can never be too cautious with these fucks.

It practically took an eternity for Rahs. The act of playing dead isn't his way to do things but it was too late to do otherwise. He could feel her though. Besides hearing her steps drawing closer with the ceiling creaking beneath, he could feel her body walking, being soaked by the rain but the suit letting the water fall easily.

And then she made her move. It was too sudden and exciting that it took all of his will to remain limp on the floor as the energy-based blade swooped down on his throat. But it did not meet its target. Rahs' hand reacted quickly and managed to grab hers just inches above his skin. The difference in size allowed him to cover her hand completely and keep the grip on the knife just in case she had any idea about letting it drop on him.

"Nah ah! I don't think so, agent. What made you think you would be able to kill me when others have failed miserably? Maybe you should drop the mission and simply enjoy the ride." As he spoke, the bullets levitated in mid air, showing no sign of ever hitting something hard enough and then they fell as his eyes opened slowly and even if impossible to see, there was an obvious grin hidden behind his mask.

His arm reached up lightning fast to hold her hand with the gun, pointing it sideways to prevent her from shooting at him. His grip was too strong, making it impossible for her to move any of her arms while the knife hummed between them and his cock started to grow in excitement until it pressed on her body.

Rain sluices off the slick surface of her suit, skintight against sleek, womanly curves, a living, breathing fetish doll. She straddles his chest, wrist twisted in one quick motion. She didn't assume him to be dead, but she never figured he'd move so quickly. The knife is held in place and her first instinct is to work the gun, but just as quickly, he has that wrist pinned in his iron grip as well, arms twisted painfully together tautly held in front of her. She tests the strength of his grip but finds it unyielding, unable to maneuver her hands so much as an inch within the tight vise. Her knee drives down between his legs only to withdraw painfully as it cracks hard against the metal of his armor. A hiss is the only sound in response.

He can read no expression through her helmet but his own mask, reflected against the mirror surface. Her voice sounds remarkably composed, not so much as answering his taunts, speaking clearly and succinctly into her helmet. "This is Captain Anna Lenox. Coordinates 3647:3625:92736. Immediate backup requested. Level C-3 Bounty Threat. Engaged and Immobilized."

The rain keeps pouring on them because it knows no end. His skin is soaked and the water sluices off her suit on him and his own helmet. She would look much better in the rain without that suit and the helmet, he thought just before she hissed at the failure of harming him. Rahs can feel her struggling somewhat in his grip but there was no possibility of escaping it.

And then she began to speak. The mercenary wanted her to reply to his commentaries just for the fun of it, maybe even to make her mad, but she seemed to focused on the mission. "They sent a captain after me? Maybe I should flattered?" Though there was one thing he noticed to be wrong. "But you made a mistake there... You really can't expect me to be immobilized by someone like you," And then, like if she were made of paper, Rahs moved his upper body forwards.

This made her fall back with her legs spread on his lap and her crotch met his. But he knew it was not the moment to take her like the rest, maybe she could get sick in the rain. A laugh escaped his mouth at the thought and then Rahs pulled her arms upwards and stood up. Anna was hanging in the air held by her wrists at eye-level according to him. "What a disgrace if they find you without your target, right?"

With that, the mercenary threw her away like yesterday's garbage and quickly jumped backwards, falling to the ground since his feet did not meet the roof. But his movements were planned and swinging on a tentacle that got attached to the ledge, he broke through a window and fell inside the building. Rahs landed with a loud thud, rolling on the floor to smooth the high fall and looked around. Nothing but darkness, it was an abandoned building, and from what he could see, it was a warehouse.

Boxes and boxes towered over him and some machinery surrounded him. With a smirk, he looked for a good hiding place, and waited patiently for her to come inside.
