Post Blue (for Minerva)
The last few assignments had been relatively simple, go to this would acquire said information, go here and meet this alien to learn these details. While Karde and Phaerin languished in prison there were still other slavers out there and thus cue Goro.

He had been arrested before, escaped due to an inside job and was relatively minor in the realm of slavers. He had attracted some attention again, was corned and blabbed about his supplier Minge, a rather wealthy and daring slaver that he was getting his supply from for the most part. He was still just one alien with a meager ship so he wasn't really back in the game yet.

He knew that he could get a reasonable price for the girls at Shokushu but lacked the resources to do so. Thus all to happy not to get arrested again Goro mentioned a planet in the Vanejin system that was well uncharted and it was there that Blue resided with only half a dozen men at his disposale, men that he trusted and were loyal to him.

Her task had been simple really, scout things out and note the defenses so that other agents could be dispatched to back her up when she was suppose to make a move on Blue.

The trick was that they didn't want him dead either but alive for he had a ton of useful information governing not only his slave auctions but his smuggling rings as well. So thus, in a nut shell she had her latest assignment and while it was a little more exciting than the last ones she's had lately it was not by much.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva last few assignments had gone well. While the agent had not been able to make any arrests she had provided value information to other agents who made big busts. Even if she had to managed to act undercover as a spy and gather information straight from the aliens themselves. While she had been captured two alien slavers, that was a while ago and since then she had not a lot of missions of critical importance.

Recently she had gotten information the despicable would-be slaver Goro, the amorphous blob had set up a meet between the a slaver named Minge who was doing providing girls from Shokushu. Goro had found out a buyer for those recent "graduates" and had hooked up the Minge with the potential buyer.

So Minerva had tracked down the slimy Goro and cornered him to get some information. The alien immediately recognized her as the agent with the deadly aim and immediately talked rather than risk her rather. He had lucked out before by their gunfight being interrupted by that purple alien, he would not that the chance of lucking out again.

The amorphous blob had soon told the red headed agent up about the buyer, an alien named Blue. Already the alien seemed to be a dangerous creature, he was smart enough to set up his base on a planet that was not charted in Vanejin system. He had only six or so men in his little base, but they were all loyal to him. Being so isolated it was going to be impossible for the young woman to inflitrate his base or learn information from a loose lipped guard.

No she was going to have to land on the planet and sneak up to the base. It was only then she would be able to gather information needed to bust this slaver. So Minerva began to softly land her Lancer in to a deserted spot a little ways from the base.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva touched down on the planet, aware of a few choice things before coming here. Minge got the slaves and transferred them over to Blue. She was able to get all the basic information on Minge so apprehending him wouldn't be too much trouble when they made their move against the entire operation.

More of a worry was Blue himself since he had the funds to supply big operations. He was paranoid and set up shop on a world that was once civilized in the distant past, in fact it was the ruins of a city that he found himself in converting over some of the better, sturdier buildings though with only six people it was tough to set up a decent parimeter.

There were sensors set up on obvious streets that lead to the temple that sported the pirates and it was to this that she was heading, prefering to avoid those sensors and take less traveled routs to the center of the city.

The temple was a large stepped pyramid, there was a door atop it of course to allow a ship to enter and exit from though there was a portal on ground level too.

It looked quiet from what she could see though the agent had no way of knowing that she was being tracked from planet to planet. HE was getting closer to her, ever so close and was just leaving Goro's presence so HE was not to far behind her.

Six, possible seven pirates, no sign of any though she did hear a hum coming from the temple and realized that their was an energy source of some sort there, a power generator in fact. She guessed that the six were some where inside. She had seen no signs of them and while there were some sensors lined out they were in obvious routes to the temple. Perhps because they had thought that the world was isolated that they did not bother with too much of a defense thinking that they were hidden.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva climbed out of her Lancer as soon as it powered down from landing on the planet. The agent climbed in her mostly form fitting flight suit, it definitely left little to imagination about her curves. The young woman soon began making her way towards where she had where Blue had made his base.

It took a good hour or two for the redhead to make her way over the various hills and ridges that seperated her fighter and the base that Blue had set up, but just as her head cleared the last ridge the agent found what she was looking for. The base was not simply a base, but an entire city that had been abandoned a long time ago. The agent felt a scene of deja vu as she looked on the ancient city, but she quickly shook it off. She needed to focus on the mission, and it appeared that Blue had been busy turning the place into his own private base. She could see several of the buildings had been fully renovated, a very of obvious sign of the slaver's wealth.

The young woman pulled out a set of rangefinder binoculars and began to view the streets. It didn't take long for Minerva's trained eyes to spot the find what she was looking for. There were sensors all over the main routes through the city. There was no way anyone would be able to rapidly move up through the main routes of the city and not alert the pirates that were hidden here. And looked like the most heavily covered routes lead straight up to a temple.

The temple was a large stepped pyramid, it looked like came right out ancient Mexico, except it had lights all over it. There also appeared to be a massive hanger door on top of it, to allow ships to enter and exit the pyramid easily. As her binoculars checked every section of the pyramid, the agent noticed there was a door on the ground floor as well, so the agent had at least a way in.

The young woman put away from the binoculars and pulled out her rifle. She then began to make her way down into the lesser side streets, where there was little in the way of the sensors. As the agent began to make her approach to the pyramid, she could hear the hum coming from the temple. It was clear that it was some sort of power generator, something she made a note of. If necessary the agent would have to disable to cause a distraction when the assault began. But she was going to set it up so it could be disabled, she was going to have to get into the pyramid. And judging by the fact she had seen nobody outside, the red head knew that all the pirates must be inside. This was going to make the job very hard.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva made her way to the city, studying it with her range finder, looking over the defenses that were in place and noting that there were few, simply alarms that would warn the pirates from tripped sensors but only the main routes were covered so it was easy to avoid them by taking a little extra time.

Her form fitting flight suit clung to her as she drew nearer she did not notice any guards posted and came to assume that they were indoors that the pirates hadn't been expecting any trouble here. Blue and six pirates, things so far seemed easy enough for a small team to deal with but she did not know then what she would later learn.

We have company.

Blue gazed at the tentacled creature as he nodded slowly. He was large, over seven feet in height though his huge distinguishing feature wasn't his size but rather the single occular eye set in his skull, a brillant blue which afforded him with the tell tale nick name that he acquired.

He was well dressed reflecting his wealth and he had a blaster at his hip, custom made with a pearl grip and improved targeting scopes. It was also a smart gun in that his DNA was required to fire it. He reflected on what Fafner told him as he looked at the squid-like being.

"How many?"

Just the one, investigating for a future assault, she's getting close now. A markswomen at that.

Blue considered for a moment as to what his next move ought to be then asked "Goro?"

It would appear she got some information from him but not all ... the location of your base has been compromised but if the agent doesn't report back it still will be a number of days for the nearest ship to check it out, or so I'm getting from her mind.

Blue rubbed his chin, it looked as if he would have to leave here but they had a number of days so they did not need to rush, he considered his options, clearly Fafner still desired what they had agreed upon and would not want him to renige on the bargain, however this made things a bit difficult though not impossible.

Do not think about reniging now. We have a deal.

Yes, it was creepy how Fafner had a way of getting into his head. Then the alien snapped to attention as it realized something about the agent. It's multifaceted mind allowed it to do several things at once and while it was speaking it was still rumagig through some of the agents memories. She knows Aegir! I must have her.

"And you shall," Blue realized he could not stop the alien and it was rare that he got interested or excited with anything. "Take Amos and go. Neutralize her, have fun with her, I do not care just make sure she does not report back until we are gone."

As you wish. And with that he slithered away.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva continued to make her way into the ancient city, her rifle at the ready. Even as the young woman moved quietly in the shadows, the agent continued to scan the abandoned buildings for any signs of guards in them. However, not only were no guards in the direction she was coming from, but there was no sensors on the side street she was using to approach the pyramid.

The red head also took a moment to figure out exactly how far away each of the buildings were, even as she moved towards the pyramid. It would be good to know the range in case a firefight broke out, but it looked like there would not happen. In fact if a team was the take this route in they would be able to take Blue and his pirates without any difficulty.

Minerva began to mentally go over the report about Blue, just to make it easier for her to recognize him when she spotted the alien. Despite his name, the alien was not blue at all. The massive creature had a single occular eye that was blue. Either it was rare enough to make him unique or his people do not leave their homeworld, Minerva figured. The alien was one that enjoyed his ill gotten wealth, wearing expensive looking clothes that had been custom made from him as well as a pearl gripped blaster. Intelligence stated that the the gun was tuned to only fire if his hand was on the weapon and that it had special targeting gear. It did not matter, as Minerva was not going to get close enough to find out how dangerous that weapon was.

The young woman had to be careful now as she figured she was with in a mile of the pyramid. Now it was getting dangerous, if she had tripped any sensors she had not seen, the pirates would be out in this area looking for her. The predator could very quickly become the pray. So Minerva continued to keep alert as she looked around for anyone trying to sneak up on her. And if things got to hot, she was going to have abort and make it back to her fighter to report what she had found so far for the assault team.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
She had pressed closer using care as she observed the terrain, looking for any hidden sensors but she had seen none as she went. She proved to be cautious though not wishing to trip any sensors and alert the prates but if if she had tripped one it was likely that she could deal with whatever came looking for her.

Of course she had no intentions of fighting, alone she would be out numbered and getting back to her ship would have been a bigger priority since the mission would have to be scrubbed anyway as Blue was unlikely to stay if detected.

But she managed to close with 50 yards before she saw anything out of the ordinary. A winged red scaled demonic looking creature had appeared in the door way. It had wicked looking claws and teeth and she had once had pegged him as one of the pirates, he had to be.

He had no weapons but powerful wings allowed him to vault into the air as he flew to the roof of a building, landed, then glanced around. He cupped a hand to his brow to shield out the sun and looked as if he were scanning the city for something, then flew to another building nearby and repeated this. In fact this time he landed on the roof of a nearby building.

Amos looked around, letting out a sharp hissing sound. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!"Had it detected her? Had she tripped a sensor? Or was it just assuming that something was out there as it made it's rounds. Thus far it had not spotted her it seemed, unless of course it had and was just playing games with her.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva continued to take her cautious path towards the pyramid keeping an eye out for any sensors that she may have missed, but she had been fortunate in that there did not appear along the street she chosen. In fact this seemed to be the idea route to make her way to the pyramid.

Which was good, for the alternative was not pretty. Most likely the pirates would come out with sufficient force to overwhelm the singular agent. And if she didn't get overwhelmed she would have to get back to her fighter as soon as possible to warn the other agents that she had been spotted.

Just as she got close to the pyramid the door began to open. Immediately Minerva dove into the cover of the shadow of the building, the agent pressed herself into a corner as she readied her weapon at the door. It was then that a demonic looking creature appeared in the doorway. It had red scaled wings and claws and teeth, he was clearly to one of the pirates of Blue.

The creature suddenly vaulted to the air and flew over to a roof of a building. Once he landed, he cupped his hand to shield his eyes as he scanned the city looking for something. It was clear that the alien had now weapons, though with those claws he probably didn't need any. The creature moved from one building to another looking around until he landed on a building nearby.

It was then it began to taunt her, surprising Minerva. The creature would not have called out if it was just a routine patrol, so she had to assume that she had tripped a sensor somehow. The agent cursed her luck now she was going to have to make her way back to the fighter and report what happened. But now until the creature moved away, any movement on her part would give away her position.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
As she hesitated there in the shadow of the building she inwardly cursed. Amos looked around, didn't see anything and flew to another roof top repeating his call. It was obvious it had no idea what sensor had been tripped so maybe she didn't trip one at all, clearly if she had Amos would have known where to begin her search. Another means? But what? As she considered this it was then that she saw the tentacled horror approaching her position.

The psychic beast Aegir! And it was heading in her direction. No, not Aegir she quickly realized, it was smaller, it's skin was a lighter shad then she remembered though whatever it was it was coming this way, white eyes easily piercing the darkness with it;s supieror vision.

There! I see you! You can't escape girlie ... save yourself the trouble and surrender now, Your free to try to get to your ship if you think you can reach it before I reach you.

t was quicker than Aegir, much quicker than the lethargic squid-like being she had meet before, much faster in fact thanks to Blue and his miracle drugs. It stared in her direction almost daring her to bolt as he came towards her.

She could see the demon creature take a close look around the building as she did not dare move. The creature then flew to another building and began the taunt again. The red head agent was confused, if the she had tripped a sensor the creature should have flown straight to the source, why the game of hide of seek? This made no sense to the young woman, though she soon saw the door to the pyramid open again.

It was then than a familiar creature came out and started heading her direction. Well at least that what she thought it was first, that the purple alien she had dealt with before had come after her again. However, the redhead began to realize the creature was not the same shade of color and appeared to be slightly smaller. Whatever it was it was clear that it had at least some of the psychic powers that Aegir had.

The creature had moved much quicker towards her than Aegir would have. Even as she heard its voice in her head, it became clear any chance she had to stealth her way around the pyramid was gone, she was going to have run back to her fighter. And as she did so she would have to keep an eye out for the demon that looking out for her.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Back tracing was difficult she realized. There were only a few routes not lined with sensors which would give away her posistion though the ones without the sensors were long and drawn out. It was then that she realized that this must have been intentional in leaving some paths clear to get her to take them and lure her into a false sense of security while she moved close.

So she did her best at evading the squid-like creature. If that wasn't bad enough there was an airborne demon that she didn't need seeing her but the little thing at least had a modicurm of psychic energergy. Sh could only prey that it was only a fraction of Aegir's power, but boy did it move quick!

Was that because it was younger and Aegir older moving like an old man with a cane, having immense power over the years. That gave her a little hope though inwardly it may have been best if it were Aegir, at least she knew that one and he was actually quite helpful after being shot tough she was only getting waves of malice from the two.

Yes run! Run, Minerva, it will do you little good, i will hear you scream! The creature taunted her as it got to the area that she had just vacated. It knew who she was! Did it have intelligence that she was coming or was it mental gifting that let him easily pull that information from her mind? Why was she getting so wet? Was it playing with her arousal, enjoying this little game of cat and mouse.

It was about then that Amos streaked off, Fafner relaying information to him about the ship, her ship and thus he sent the other creature off to cut her off and have some fun with her ...

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
As the agent turned to look for the best possible route, the poor woman discovered the true nature of the sensors. They were not there to keep people from getting in, they were their to keep intruders from getting away. Instantly she saw that any quick route she tried to take out of the city would result in her running over a sensor.

So she had no choice but take long winding routes out of the city. All the while she could see the squid-like creature closing the distance on her. The agent hoped this was a sign of youth, meaning the creature would make mistakes and be less powerful than Aegir. She would no once the alien moved in to a good firing range.

The agent could hear the creature in her head already, showing the same gift that Aegir had to communicate via telepathy. Worse it seemed to be able to read her mind like it was an open book, drawing her name just like that. The agent continued to run trying to out race the creature, but she could feel her panties starting to get soaked as her body began to get aroused by this chase. Either that or the creature was was controlling it.

Even as the agent ran, she looked up in the sky of the demon creature expecting him to land on her at any moment. However the sky directly above was clear confusing the poor agent. But unfortunately she did not have any time to figure out where the creature had went.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Fafner knew her thoughts, were she was going to turn, her hopes and fears. Of course he had known that she was going to go back to her ship so he sent Amos there to cut her off should she actually reach it.

Oh, he was younger than Aegir by about 4000 years but it was the drug Blue supplied him with that made him quicker than the rest of his species and while yonger than his "father" he no doubt had many of the same talents. Many, but not all.u

He was enjoying this chase, conjuring up a mental picture of her from her memories of seeing her own reflection in the bathroom mirror. He grinned in the way that his species did, mouth tendrils twitching ever so slightly for he knew he was going to enjoy this.

Oddly he could sense her arousal, though it was no doing of his own. She got a thrill out of the chase and he was all to happy to show off his new found speed at Blue's hands. See, Aegir was slow as hell and thus tended not to chase after many individuals though Fafner could afford this.

He caressed her arousal though, dialing it up a

Such a slut! You wish to be caught ... very wll ..

He disappeared from sight. See he had no problems with the sensors, mentally he could turn them off as he passed and turn them back on after he passed them by and thus he could take quicker routes to her. Quicker so that he easily caught up to her with the knowledge of what direction she was going to be running in.

A short while later one of the walls exploded as Fafner came out of a building about half a block away from her. Damn he was quick but now he was in firing range.

I will show you how I treat sluts! And something tells me you will en - you know Aegir! Ah. well even that won't save you. It chuckled in her head as he deliberately slowed as he drew near drawing out matters just a little.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Minerva continued to make her way through the city, moving quickly as she in the round about path she had to take. The last thing thing she needed to do was to trip a sensor and confirm for anyone else where she located.

Of course, if she could get rid of the creature that was chasing her, they were all going to find her anyways. She had to assume that the creature had some way to communicate with the other pirates, whether it was through pheromones or psionics or even something as mundane as radio.

And the creature was extremely fast and psionic. The only creature like that one was Aegir, but he never showed that kinda of speed. She hoped that meant he was deficient in other areas.

As Minerva continued to run behind a building she got an image of seeing herself in the bathroom mirror on Antares Base. The young woman was struggling to tame that one piece of hair that seemed to never stay in place.

Minerva struggled with the thoughts in her head trying to shake them and focus on the mission. If she had couldn't get rid of them soon she would get caught for sure. It was only through sheer willpower she kept moving.

She looked behind her and discovered that the creature was no longer chasing her. That did not mean she could slow down, if anything it meant she should speed up so that she could clear of the area before other people or aliens closed on her position. It was her one real chance to get away.

However, soon a wall exploded nearby, making the young woman duck instinctively. As she looked back at the cloud of debris, she saw the creature approaching rapidly towards her. He was now only half a block away now.

Instinctively the agent brought up her rifle to aim at the creature. She stopped and fired a few shots at the creature's body to see if would have any effect.

Post Re: Blue (for Minerva)
Fafner was playing with her, he knew the situation was hopeless for her but he loved building up someone's hope to dash away their hope last minute. So he feed her such thoughts while philpher her memory. He had been interested to see how that encounter had gone, though he thought it strange that father had assisted her in the end. Humans = play things in his book and he shuddered at the thought of actually helping one.

Yet Fafner was different then his parent in several ways. He was quicker, yes, but that was due to Blue's drug. He liked the speed though it dulled his perceptions a bit. His speed would have been painfully slow where doing something like this, chasing Minerva down wouldn't have been much of a possibility. He would have to direct Amos to do all that dirty work which meant that he'd be coming upon a bloody mess all the time so he'd always be getting seconds. Why be second when you could be first? And with Amos at the ship he ensured that they wouldn't be disturbed either.

He was quicker than Aegir but not as experienced in some realms. While Aegir could actually bend light i.e lasers, Fafner could not so he had to telekinetically push on the barrel of the rifle to throw off her aim and use chunks of the broken wall to hurl into the path of others.

Stones lifted, orbitting him as he grew near, mouth tendrils twitching as he considered what he was going to do to her. He let her shoot at him, it made her feel better though he wouldn't comply by being struck.

Exerting a mental push against her chest in a telekinetic punch.

You know my father, good, then you know this trick already, I stole the idea from your memories, your experiences. You also know how hopeless things are. Give up and I won't make you scream ... much.
