A tactical first encounter (first come)
(( I haven't managed to read all the data files yes, so I apologize if my canon is a bit off. The RP is open to anyone who posts first, though I would appreciate playing someone who uses more then just a few sentences.))
Quadrant 19885b was mostly an empty patch of space, not hospitable at all but not dangerous either. It mostly consisted of hunks of ice and several barren rocks. There was a brief interest in the patch of space for mining purposes and a small outpost was constructed on one of the larger asteroids for research purposes. The project was deemed not cost effective however and as interest in the quadrant waned, the station was abandoned. Yet, Two hours ago a signal was received, carrying the station's old ID code, along with an emergency message. The situation was deemed odd, though most of the analysts suspected that the station had been raided by looters and accidentally left some systems running.
The outpost in question had been quite state-of-the-art the day it had been constructed, though most of the equipment had been taken when the place was evacuated. Any useful items that could still be found such as mining and excavation tools were mostly sub-par in quality, which begged the question who would want to bother raid the place to begin with. Unfortunately, an emergency message could not be ignored regulation wise so, who could be missed a couple of weeks to check this out this waste of time?
Deep inside the base a dangerous entity made itself comfortable in a swivel chair, simply waiting to see who would spring the trap.

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
Lieutenant Minerva Rocha had just finished her patrol when when she had been redirected to Quadrant 19855b. The agent was not very popular with High Command especially her sometimes questioning responses to orders. So as a result she often drew the worst assignments at times. She had just finished a very boring patrol and now she ordered to check out an old emergency signal. It came from an outpost that had been had been abandoned along time ago. High Command had assumed that someone must have come in to loot it and had accidentally triggered the emergency signal. Still someone had to go just in case a ship had wrecked nearby and the survivors were calling for help.
The redheaded agent knew little about the outpost. Supposedly the outpost had been abandoned a while ago, and anything that was worth using had been taken when the outpost had been abandoned. Therefore, there was no real reason for anyone to be there. And with nothing in the area, it seemed strange that a ship would even be in the area. Something didn't seem right to the Lieutenant, but she still had to check it out.
This is Lieutenant Minerva Rocha to Outpost 19855b. I have received your distress signal and I will be arriving soon. Please respond when you receive this message.

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
No reply came from the comms and all they picked up was the repetitive drone of the emergency beacon. The outpost itself was mostly cast in the shadows of the rock it had been build on, though several blinking lights could be seen from space. Presumably one of those lights was the communications array sending out the signal. Another set if lights that could be seen quite clearly were set in the distinct shape of an X, marking a landing rig, big enough to allow the safe landing of cargo carriers. The entire thing was automated and as soon as it detected the ADD ship, the heavy doors started to grind upwards to allow the vessel to land inside.
Inside the complex, the entity stirred as the communications console came to life. Beeping and rattling, as it started to print out data it had gathered from scanning the approaching ship. The Outsider grinned at the news.
"Well, that didn't take quite as long as I expected," she mused.

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
(Hey sorry about two post, but I can only wright so much in 1)
Quadrant 19855b, Krisna has heard about the patch of space befor from pirate chatter shes cataloged beling any historical significns but according to the young collectors arcives tts been recorded as dead space, deemed mining frontier terratory and according to her documents its dried up of any useful raw materials, at least thats what the records say... Yet the young collector could not help but over hear the mention of the ammount of state of the art tech'nologie that has gone into the constrution of the mining facilitie located on one of the astroids with in the dead system belt.
Mostly likly milked dry for its rare metals and abbandoned Krisna thought. It was funny to think of, finding this time periods silly process of cosuming raw materials over and over agin instead of matter constructing or recycaling kinda silly really. Yet she was sent here to record such historical advancments in the first place so it made since why the sentients of this time would not have such advance tech, but thats why Krisna was making this trip to quadrant 19855b in the first place, to better understand how and why they mined astroid like they do. Also the rumors around the mineing facilities that Krisna's ship has picked up from pirate chatter around the sector of space about recovering "strange things", its worth looking into she thought.
The young travlers ship The Humbug blasted off two days ago from the outlaw planet of Hanette, leaving behnd her dear friend Destiny for a short time while she took care of her own bussniess while Krisna was gone. Due to her ship more advance and superior desigh Krisna was able to make the trip in only a day instead of a voyage of weeks, but this left her ships damaged power cells severly drained once she finilly arrived jumping out of folded space in a bright flash of blinding light not far from the mining facilitie that allready seemed to have a new visitor of its own. Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
(#2).... visitor of its own.
Krisna would have just been stepping out of her ships cryo sleep chamber when she heard the staticy chatter come out of the compatibility inner comm. Rubbing the sleep from her bright blue eyes , Krisna would yawn nice and big befor carfully stepping out of her bed and lazily walked over to the control panel to check the insterments. Krisna wasnt quiet awake yet and she disregarded most the of mangled mess of symbols and holografic displys but she knew it was a Female voice on the other end of the comm.
A mis lieutenat Minerva Rocha? instantly her name was ran through her ships own internal data base of known people but came up negitive. Even so Krisna didnt recall the name her self anyway even if her ship did.. mybe its a ADD agent? Krisna wondered. They are the only agentcy Krisna has recorded that doest military based patrols, missions and titles around the known univirse. Mybe shes was a friend of Hopes? Krisna imagination went wild but her attention was soon taken by her sensors, her ship was allready readying itscself to land, she didnt have time to dally. "Uh oh! I-! over slept!" Krisna yelped as she had to quickly scrambled around the cabbon of her ship grabbing tools finding her kits befor steppng into the on board outfitter, letting it do the rest as she was quickly stripped of her pajamas and then equiped with her arch armor while her spade shaped metalic ship auto piloted its self in. Fallowing behind mis Rochas vessel and setteling down not far from the agents own landing area.

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
Minerva's requests for status were only answered by the repetitive signal of the ever present emergency beacon. The outpost was not visible hidden among the shadows on the hunk of rock it was built on, fortunately there were some lights that blinked. Minerva recognized that some of that must have been the communication array and some were navigation lights to keep ships from accidentally hitting the outpost. As the redhead's old Lancer fighter came closer, another set of lights came nearby in the shape of giant X. It seemed to match the description of outpost's landing rig lighting pattern. Almost on cue giant doors began to open to allow the agent to dock.
Still this was expected automated behavior as outpost was responding to a nearby ship, there was still no sign of actual life. The agent moved to land her fighter into the landing bay. Designed for giant cargo vessels, the fighter was able to easily place itself in the bay. In fact it was then Minerva noticed that a second ship had joined her in the landing bay. The agent did not recall the Directorate sending backup? A quick look through the database also showed the ship was not an ADD ship? A little weary, the agent stepped out of her fighter wearing her almost skintight flightsuit and her weapons as she wondered who would have come to outpost and if they two were responding to emergency beacon.

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
Detecting a human presence, the outpost's automated systems automatically turned on the lights as the ships entered the landing bay. The building itself was about as average as one would expect. A large steel gray hangar, reinforced against potential assaults with thick support beams near the walls. Traces of colored lines on the floor designated different parking spots or work areas, though time had began to fade the colors away. Several cabinets and abandoned storage boxes could be found in the corners of the hanger. Most likely they had contained maintenance tools and repair equipment, those these had either been taken when the station was abandoned, or were stolen by raiders. A few computer consoles could be seen as well, though the dead screens and a lack of flickering lights made it obvious that they weren't operational.
The only thing that could be called out of the ordinary in the hanger was an odd smell that floated through area. Although not something one expected to smell in an abandoned mining station, it certainly wasn't unpleasant, reminding those that sensed it of some exotic, sweet and spicy tinted flower. A set of unlocked double doors were the only connection between the outpost and the hanger, and it was from those doors that smell was emanating from.
"Another one? No... Different type of ship, different level of technology... this one isn't from the ADD," the dark entity murmured as it watched the images of the hanger on screen. "Well, that's unexpected. I didn't think anyone else would be able to pick up the signal. I suppose that only proves how insecure the ADD's systems are. We'll just have to find out who this little intruder is."

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
The landing bay was large enough for cargo ships, it made it easy for both the agent and Krisnas ships auto piot to guide its self in right behind the agents lancer befor hovering off to touch down so to speak only a few meters away from Minervas own ship accually taking up two of these parting spots inside the landing bay even tho it only needed one.
On the outside the odd metalic ship, looked as if it was a luqid, the metal always shifting due to the metalic coat of the ship but really it was completly smooth as if it was cut from one piece of alloy. Stranger still the humbug didnt even deploy landing gear, instead it only hovered in place feet off the floor not making single sound as settled. From its hall came a flashing of blue light as a series of blue beams shot forth from glowing openings on the vessels hall, quickly scaned the near by area include the agents ship and Minerva her self.
It didnt find any potental threats besides the life form out side so the the mysterious vessel ran its last faze of its landing process as it loudly hummed. The ecoing reverirating off the hanger walls befor simply the vessel cutt all power to its lifts suddenly just faling, hitting the hard hanger floor with a loud metal -DINK!-.
Inside the metalic ship Krisna was stepping out of her outfitter when the holografic displys on the control panel started blinking letting her know she has arrived. Afther grabbing her uility belt and her trusty omni tool Krisna hussled to the air lock door and waited for last minute preperations befor it finilly opened.
With a steady sound of hissing air the side of Krisna's humbug would suddenly split open from top to bottom like jaws opening wide as a short little ramp out steched form the opening for the young blue haired girl stepping out of the ship to walk on.
Krisna stepped out of her ship, wearing her arc armor. (#1)....

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
(#2...) Krisna stepped out of her ship wearing her arc armor. A lightly violet and nearly skin tight outfit closly resembling a one piece bathing suit that did little to hide her girly curvey little body except for the long sleves and strips of thin metal plates that covered the young girls hips, belly, chest and arms. While on her hips and back was a glowing device atrached to suit almost like a gaige.
With a little click, Krisna strung her utility belt around her waist and marched down the ramp of her ship to take in the sight of the hanger bay, noticing empty boxes, some disabled consols and a odd smell of spicy flowers? Thats off Krisna tought as she unholstered her omni tool, a pistol shaped device looking very similure to a blaster befor the travler started to fiddle with it to test the air qulity in this place out of curiosity but Krisnas attention was quickly take by the more intreasting agent gazing her direction too as Krisna gasped... this women looked familure?.
The red hair? The blue eyes? The cute confused face? Could it be? was it? "Destiny!!" Krisna yelled, a happy smile spreading acrost her face as the young travler quickly and excitedly waved to the familure women she belved to be her girlfriend.
Krisna quickly holstered her omni tool and ran down her ships loading ramp, charging the agents directions with open arms and a happy smile. "Destiny! Oh! I missed you so much!!!" Krisna yelled, running into a jump, throwing her self into the womens arms most likly knocking her down if she isnt ready for it as Krisna hugged her tight. "Oh! What are you doing here Destiny! I thought you where busy with Ven on Hanette!" Krisna said giving the women she blived to be Destiny a nice long hug as she snuggled agiest her chest. "Regardless! I'm happy your here!"

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
The ship was quite strange looking as it made its landing. To the redheaded agent it appeared to be metallic , except instead of constructed it looked it was poured into one place. The ship never truly landed in the conventional sense, instead the alien craft seemed to be content to hover there quite still. The ship suddenly shot a blue light that made Minerva instinctively try to find cover. The blue light shown over the redhead’s body for a moment before it went over ever part of the giant hanger. As the young woman hesitantly stood up the light came to the stop. The alien craft suddenly dropped to the ground unceremoniously with a loud metal clank. Minerva looked in disbelieve at the ship’s front literally broke open. Out came a little ramp that drifted downwards until finally connected to the hanger floor.
Out stepped a woman with short blue hair, though she did not seemed more suited for the beach than exploring this abandoned station. She wore what looked a bathing suit though it seemed to be covered in metal strips of some sort. There was a glow coming from a spot on the suit, as if it was some sort of power device. When the woman laid eyes on Minerva she suddenly had a huge smile on her face before the blue haired girl ran over and tacked the redheaded agent. Minerva found herself falling backwards on the floor as the woman wrapped herself tightly against the agent. ”Ummpf”. It took a second to catch her breath. Destiny? Who are you? H-have we met before?

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
The entity in the swivel chair arched a brow, leaning forwards a little to watch the two arrivals interact. It was always possible that the signal would attract factions other then the ADD, which wouldn't have been much of a problem. Though two people from two different groups who also seemed to know each other, at least that's how it appeared, was a pretty surprising coincidence. The entity took a few moments to think, considering if she had to change plans or not. It's red glowing eyes fell on the strange, smooth looking space belonging to blue haired girl. It had never seen such a ship before and it's fingers started to itch at the thought of examining the odd looking thing. No, the addition of another arrival changed little in her plan. In fact, the little trap might end up being a lot more lucrative then initially expected. "Let's give these two some motivation," it muttered quietly while tapping a few keys. In the hanger, a light near the double doors changed from red to green as they started to open. A thick waft of the odd, sweet smelling scent filled the hanger as the doors revealed a wide corridor entirely alien compared to the rest of the outpost. The walls were barely visible behind thick layers of leaves, ranging in color from bubblegum pink to a dark sinister purple. Thick, fleshy vines hung from the ceiling which in turn was covered with more leaves and alien plantlike flora, resembling a canopy more than the inside of a space base. Although corridor had initially been wide enough to allow five or six people to pass shoulder to shoulder, the odd plant-life only left a narrow, twisting path available for the two girls to follow. Left and right of the path grew a mixture of flowers and plants that seemed to bear plump black fruits and some of the vines that had either been cut or damaged were leaking a thick, tar-like substance in to small pools. Oddly enough, the corridor was well lit with a warm, pinkish ambient light, as if the plants themselves were emitting a faint glow. If anyone was watching carefully, they could see some of the leaves and plants move, as if some hidden critters were scuttling away from the moving set of doors. (( Alien landscape example ))

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
Krisna went down with the redhead the seciond they meet in an unexpected flying jump a hug! as the travler tightly snuggled her cute reddish cheeks agiest the agents suit covered chest. The embrace was warm, welcoming and loving yet clearly a little awkward as Krisna only smile in the agents arm and kept up that tightly embracing hugg wrapped around the agents hips. "Dont be silly Destiny!! Its me!!" Krisna said as she quickly sat up from laying on top of the redhead to kindly smiled twords her befor leaning into to give her a nice sweet kiss on the lips. "There! remainber now?" Krisna giggled.
It was a adorable little kiss as the travler lean back to stare into who shevthought was her lovers eyes. Smiling kindly at the agent infront of her befor she jumpped at the sound of griding gears and a locking mechinism as the inner hanger doors slid open to reveal the oddites and the pinkish glow from the other side as rolled in that strange sweet scent Krisna could not help but love.
The sound of the door open startled her but seeing the more intreasting treasures behind the door made Krisnas heart race with excitment!"Whoa! look at that Destiny!" Krisna said jumping up excitedly as she quickly rushed over to the door way checking out those odd pink planets on the other side of the door, gently pulling out some of these pinkish leafs her and her "lover" discovered while taking great care not to break them from their viens or stims. After finding intreasting specimens Krisna would unholstering that pistol shaped device on her thigh and aim its optical sensor at the leafs she picked to quickly scan wth a familure blue light, where after she would carfuly pick a leaf as a sample. "Wow! These are pretty! Look Destiny!"

Re: A tactical first encounter (first come)
For a moment all thoughts about the mission had been forgotten as Minerva had the blue haired stranger on top of her. Still the strange woman snuggled against the redhead's chest, her hands wrapped around Minerva's hips. The woman kept calling the agent Destiny for some reason. Then the blue haired stranger moved her head up and gave the redhead a simple kiss. The redhead blushed as she was not expecting such an intimate moment with someone she had never met before. For a moment they both stared into each other's blue eyes, as Minerva tried to figure out who she was dealing with.
It was then that something caught Minerva's attention, out of the corner of her eye the redhead noticed a light change from red to green. The hanger doors began to groan as they pulled apart from each other. Almost at once a the hanger filled with what was what was a sweet scent emanating from the hallway. The hallway seemed to be filled with what looked like a virtual jungle of strange alien plants that were different shades of red from the darkest of purple to the lightest of pinks. Somehow the plants were giving off a strange glow that lite the room. It felt like the plants were moving, though it could have been the shadows playing tricks with on Minerva's eyes. Still the agent did not like the look of the vines that appeared to be cut and dripping some sort of dark tar like substance.
The agent struggled to get up and into a defensive position. But her new partner had no such worries as ran over check out the plants and began to check out the leaves. Wait a minute! We don't what the plants are. The agent began to make her way over the corridor, even as her blue haired companion had pulled out a pistol at one of the leaves that she picked out. The pistol quickly released a blue light as it appeared to do the same style of scanning that the strange ship had done earlier. Minerva soon was in the jungle covered corridor with the blue haired stranger. So how long does it take for that scanner to work...um...Miss?
