i have read all the rules and know that i cannot create a monster based on infection of the students, my theory is that my monster while unable to infect HUMANS, can infact infect other monsters/demons. and if the antidote is not coaxed from my body within a certain time limit (like 5 days) the infection is complete, and the other monster would become something of a hybrid of them and I. as far as i have seen there is nothing trully said about infecting other monsters, just the human aspect of the island. if i did miss it please let me know so i can edit it fully (building the profile in word first then will paste it here) i just wanted to know if something like that would be allowed before completeing it as well. i am also looking for a pic that would depict my monster fully from my description. wish me luck on that one anyway, please holler at me with any thoughts and or suggestions if this is deemed legal on the island.

While I don't think there would be a problem with making a monster into a different kind of monster, it can't be a 100% effective change as that would force the other player to either change their character or go after the cure.

I think it would be alright as an optional follow up sort of idea, just not as something unavoidable.

so your saying as a side effect, or possibly as a temporary change for again a certain period of time? something like that would be more fair to the public at large?

I don't think you can be able to infect PC monsters without permission, but to be honest...I don't feel comfertable with that idea.

More like something that only effects a certain percentage of the monster population. Like saying only 1 in 10 creatures are susceptible to it or something. That way the people you RP with would have the option to decide whether they want to to that route or not.

Consider Mercy's monster 31088. It changes its victims. But only temporarily. In that case, the "infection" is specialized. Against its target species, the infection is permanent. Against humans (and other PCs), it is only temporary. If whatever infection your monster causes is short term, there likely isn't a problem. (Also, since there are so many different kinds of monsters, most will be immune re: Katya)

It also seems unlikely that you will have that many opportunities to infect monsters. Most RPs are Monster - Student or Monster - ADD/SFA. True, there's the Monster's Hideout. But you'll likely find the pickings few and far between even there.

As a general guideline this is the sort of roleplay where you would need OOC consent to make any such change to another character. With that consent it's between the two players how they handle it so long as they both stay within the guidelines.
