Post subject: | Monster Question |
Since the link to the rules is dead, I just have a quick question before I really cook up my monster. I know for the girls that magic is inhibited to parlor tricks, but is the same true for monsters? I'm not talking fireballs, chain lightning or anything of that sort. What I have in mind is more to do with the mind. Telepathy, telekinesis, illusions, that sort of thing. Would that be a go for the island, or just for space? |

It should be fine. Monsters are free to have all sorts of strange powers. The only issue is making sure you can find students who will go along with it...I mean, if no students are interested in your monster, you're not going to be able to RP! |

As a general thing I'd stay away from hypnotic control since that removes the forced aspect and stay away from illusions that make the monster appear human since the topic is monster sex. Other than that you should be good to go. Have fun! |

For the record, Hypnosis is not all that the media cracks it up to be. The hypnotist is never the one in control, the one being hypnotized is in the driver's seat. Hence, you couldn't hypnotize a student into a monster's clutches unless she wants to be there. |
