I've read a lot of rules and background and a lot of really helpful setting information here. The island and the school itself are detailed very well in certain aspects. My question - and I may just have missed an important sub-forum or thread - is what is school life like at Shokushu? for instance: - are there curfews? - are there school uniforms? - if so, when are they issued? back on earth before the plane ride, or at some sort of commissary at the school? - also if so, when do we have to wear them? only to class? - is there a formal, in-character, discipline system that could, for instance, get a girl sent to the NICE labs? - if so, who enforces this system? I know most of this is *probably* just plot driven - if I want my girl to wear a uniform because the monsters think it's sexy, then she is or, if I want to do a scene at nice - I just intro a reason she was sent there that said - I am a fan of continuity and I thought I'd ask if there is any consistency for things like this |

- are there curfews? very loosely enforced ones, since it benefits everyone if girls break them and go wandering about in the dark generally students don't leave the school grounds without permission and should be within the dorm block by 9pm - are there school uniforms? http://shokushu.com/campus/uniform.html - if so, when are they issued? back on earth before the plane ride, or at some sort of commissary at the school? Since they tend to get damaged so often they are available from the admin office - also if so, when do we have to wear them? only to class? During the school day. Casual clothing can be worn at other times but should be appropriate to a respectable establishment such as a school for young ladies - is there a formal, in-character, discipline system that could, for instance, get a girl sent to the NICE labs? - if so, who enforces this system? http://shokushu.com/admin/office07.html I would especially draw your attention to the final section A trip to the labs isn't necessarily a form of discipline. It can also be a field trip as part of a science lesson, a way to gain extra merits by volunteering to assist with research, etc. |

Just want to slip in here and plug that the Basement tends to be where detention is held, in my experience. Then again, I'm often the one hosting said punishment, so... |
