Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
[i]It has no mind? Why do they have it? Minerva mind clicked into high gear as she tried to figure out why would they keep such a thing. Was it simply to act as a guard, a way to pick up people's minds as they approached and let them the slavers know when they were approaching. Was it something to keep the slaves subdued as they were being taking to market. The possibilities were endless on why they had it.
Still young agent was making progress, she had a spanner. The redheaded woman would have preferred a pistol or a rifle, but at the end of the day a weapon was still a weapon. It wasn't great weapon, mind you, but it did have some weight to it and it did have a grip. She took some quiet practice swings testing its speed, it was fast enough for the work she would need it for. She got ready to move out when she heard Aegir voice inside her head again warning her.
The purple creature warned her that he did turn something on his belt buckle and had turned his back on her. If he was aware that the agent, then he wouldn't turn his back on her unless he confidence she couldn't harm him. That made the most sense in the pretty redhead's mind. The young woman though about it some more and came to two conclusions. The first was the belt buckle was some sort of personal detection device and that it was detect her moving towards him and thus giving him the edge as he knew where she was coming from and could attack her first.
However the second conclusion made the most sense, it was some sort of personal force field. That would render her attack useless and leave the poor agent at his mercy. Her improvised club was now rendered completely useless...or was it. The agent had idea, it just required a different use of her spanner. She moved further back into the warehouse and leaned one of the smaller crates against the spanner. The spanner would be able to support weight for a little while, then it would come crashing down. In the meanwhile the agent would wait hidden somewhere nearby. When the crate would crash to the ground after the spanner gave way, the tall alien would go check it out and Minerva could sneak by to the table where that weird device was as well as the star charts.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
From the mind of the little one they use it in both manners you have thought of. While it does not think for itself it can be told what to do and even programmed for different functions. Ah ...
The sound was more akin to pleasure then pain as Minerva used the spanner to prop up one of the crates in the warehouse. Aegir had followed the logic of her thoughts thus far and then examened where she was going with her current plan and hoped to achieve as she bleed back into the warehouse and circled away from her makeshift diversion.
She waited for a few minutes before she heard the thud of the crate upon the floor and the rattle of the spanner as it bounced against the floor. Phaerin's head jerked up from the charts he was reading and his pistol had fluidly left his holster with blinding speed.
He was quick, and probably would have gotten a shot of in that moment had there been anything there to draw his attention. Again he called out in that strange language but no response came this time, the little guy was outside and could not hear him over the arc torch he used to wield the plates onto the hull of the ship.
Phaerin proceeded in that direction cautiously, though he stopped just within sight of the table, she could see a portion of his leg from beyond a crate. He was looking in the opposite direction though he had not gone as far as she would have liked the crate did provide a measure of concealment at present.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
So it is programmed? Like it was a living machine or something? Minerva wasn't sure why the purple alien was helping her out? Maybe he was curious to see how it would turn out. Maybe he wanted something from her. Right now she really didn't know and really didn't care at the moment as she could use what ever help she could get.
The loud crashed the spanner as the crates hit the ground. She saw the tall alien react with lighting speed as he drew his gun and moved towards the direction of the crash. She couldn't believe how quick the alien he was, he would have shot her dead before she could even aimed had she tried to get in a gun fight with him. Still the alien hadn't gotten far enough for to feel like she could move from her cover.
The agent moved to the other side of the cover as that least provide a better route to the the star charts and whatever that device was on top of it. The young agent looked for something nearby she could use to throw down near where the crashed occurred. With luck she finally convince him that he really needed to check that spot out to see if there was any intruders down there.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Oh, you misunderstand. It is not alive, a machine of some sort. If it were alive I could detect it, provided of course it was not a plant-like creature, I have yet to learn how to read them. It having no brainwaves makes it effectivel invisible to me. I could certainly see it with ordinary means but not through any forms of telepathy.
Only recently have I worked out the mind of the alien called Phaerin, he was tougher to crack than the other but can feel his presence entirely now. I deal with humans for the most part so cracking their minds happen to be easy, aliens are tougher, the more unlike humans their brains are the longer it takes to figure them out so to speak.
Daringly she came out behind her cover, not really knowing nor caring of Aegir at present as she looked for something, anything. As fortune had it there were a few open crates where Phaerin and his buddy opened up earlier in the search of particular parts and thus she found a sizeable bolt with a good enough weight to it that would serve her task well enough.
Throwing this would cause the bolt to clatter off the ground getting Phaerin's attention and he too move off in that direction cautiously as she hoped. A moment later he had been gone from sight though with his quickness she would have to give it a moment longer than normal to be certain that he moved off far enough.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
It's not alive. Then how did you....ohhhh...you read it from the small alien didn't you. That made the most sense. So the third one was some sort of robot or something. That was going to be difficult depending on what it is currently programmed to do. Hopefully it was programmed today to make coffee or something.
The redhead reached into a crate and found a good sizeable bolt. This was exactly what she was looking for, something that would make alot noise when it hit an object. With a hard throw she sent it sailing over to where the crate and spammer felt it echoing as landed among the pieces on the floor. The agent then ducked behind the cover again to see if the alien took the bait.
Fortunately he did and he was off to go investigate the noise. She waited a moment to make sure he was far enough that he wouldn't interfere with her next step. Once she was sure it was save she began to quietly but quickly move to the table with the star chart and the device that sat on top of it. She would only have a few seconds to grab it before she would have to get to cover again.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Very perceptive. Aegir confirmed about her thought. He might not have been able to track it though he could get details about it from the memories and thoughts of the others and thus knew about it. Given that he was probably aware of what, if anything it was programmed to do and where it last was as known by the others though he did not pass on this information, only that it was there as if he were restricting his involvement in matters or perhaps it was because she had not asked him any details. In any case she had to make her move now.
As she raced towards the star charts and the device though she found out the function of the belt buckle. It set another device akin to a motion detector that went off when she had been about 4 meters from the table causing a shrill sound to bombard through the warehouse.
At the same moment behind her to the right a crate fell opened and a metallic being vaguely humanoid on treads rolled out into the room. Both arms ended in blasters oyyf some sort and it was firing at her, stunning blasts. So, she found out the answer to another question, it was not programmed to make coffee today or if it were it was programmed to guard as well, following instructions based on contigent activities it seemed.
Phaerin headed back at a jog, his thumb flickering the setting of his blaster from the lethal setting it was on to a stun setting as he went, the setting sufficient to take down most organics. He rationalized that the ADD agent was here and it would be more profitable for him as a slaver to take living prisoners to sell off into slavery.
No doubt by now the little guy outside heard the commotion going on inside.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
As Minerva raced over to the table she about to reach for the device sitting on the table, it looked like it was palm size and she will be able to grab with one hand and run for cover. Just as she get a few steps when the device suddenly erupted in a painful shrill. The young agent grabbed her ears as the earsplitting noise as she was temporarily to disoriented by the shock of it all. She stumbled backwards repelled from the device as it her ears rang in discomfort.
The young agent could barely her the crate open behind and she heard something roll out. It must have been the robot that Aegir was talking and it had her dead to rights. Desperately the young woman attempted to roll out of the way as she dodge the fire that must be already inbound. But she highly doubted she was going to get away scott free. Worse she knew the tall alien would upon soon, this was going to be really difficult for her to get away now.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Instinct kicked in allowing her to avoid the first few incoming shoots as she took cover behind one of the crates, the robot firing into the crate but doing no damage to it since it's blasters were set on a stun setting. It was busy though advancing unconcerned about it's own safety it did not seek any cover against incoming shots though there had been none at this stage.
Another shoot hit the crate from the opposite direction, Phaerin, getting her into a crossfire of sorts. He spoke, either a command to the robot or to her herself, it was tough to say given that it was in the same incomprehensible language, the shooting did stop at least for the moment.
That did not seem to go well. Now what? They have you in a crossfire. Oh, and Phaerin is calling for your surrender, he rather not kill you since he expects to turn a profit on you. Kard, the smaller one, is circling around the back of the warehouse intent on slipping in there and taking a look around to assess the matter first.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Somehow Minerva managed to get through the barrage of fire from the robot and dive behind the crate. The crate held up where under the fire from the robot. It slowly became clear that the robot fire was not designed to damage stuff, it was designed to stun her. She was trying to figure out what to do when the large alien began to fire on her hit the crate from the other side. The alien that Aegir called Phaerin then said some that incomprehsible to her and the firing on her. Aegir seemed to amused by this as he asked her what she planned to do next. I plan to escape. Minerva ripped off a crate top and held it up like a shield. She aimed it at Phaerin as she expected him to be more accurate shooter. She then began running to the table once more.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Quiet determined. Aegir's words eechoed in her head as he watched on. Shoots were being fired now as she moved towards the table, Phaerin's shots going into the lid more often than not, the makeshift shield serving her quiet well thus far.
The robot was less accurate as she correctly guessed though it was more accurate then she had imagined only narrowly missing it's mark as shoots came at her from both sides.
She made it back to the table with enemies either side of her closing in. The robot with no concern for it's own safety soldiered on in more or less a straight line deviating from said course only to avoid objects while Phaerin, even though he was not being shot at moved from crate to crate getting cover, force of habit perhaps.
Then she would feel it, a crackle like electricity coursing over her, spreading out from her back where something impacted against it. Kard, from behind her no doubt joining the others efficently setting her in the midsts of a triangle that the trio established.
Another crackling burst, then another as Kard fired into her again and again obviously not satisfied with his handiwork as of yet.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Minerva had made her way to the table only to have device go off again, its earsplitting shrieks filling the warehouse once more. It was uncomfortable but it was something that Minerva could deal with for the moment. In fact, it was the very shrieks that the redhead was after. She could easily pick it up with hand and throw it at Phaerin. It would probably distract him for a second leaving her to have to deal with the robot. She would then be able to make a run for it and dive out a window while using the create as a shield.
Suddenly the young agent felt a blast of electricty flow through her body as she was hit from behind. The redhead dropped to her knees as she felt her legs go out from under her. She screamed as she felt a second shot hit her in the back followed by a third as she dropped to ground. She braced herself for a fourth shot as she felt her body spasm from the amount of hits that had surged through her body.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
But a fourth shot had not come. As the droid wheeled itself forward and Phaerin approached with his blaster trained on her prone form Kard moved in from behind. The words of Phaerin had been garbled, Kard serving to translate as his boss dropped to a knee beside her. He rolled her over so he could get a better look at her, his gaze drifting down her body then back up to the features of her face. He was still talking and while Kard had not translated everything it was probably stuff that he was sharing only with the little alien.
"Phaerin says that it was foolish to even hunt him down here of all places. He also says that he is glad since you'll fetch him a pretty penny, I believe that is the term that you humans use."
Phaerin ran a hand down her side down then back up it. Rough fingers seized around her breast, giving it a firm squeeze.
"He also says that he looks forward to seeing just exactly your worth."
That did not go so well, but to your credit you had to deal with three of them. Ironic that you desired to stop a slaver and now he intends to make a slave out of you, I would estimate that you have little less than three hours before the ship is ready from what I'm getting from Kard, apparentlly you did more damage then he initially believed.
So you have until then to escape. Just how, I am curious as to how you intend to pull that off with the odds stacked against you as they are. But take some relief in knowing that the droid is kept in the warehouse so you'd only have to deal with the two on the ship.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Minerva waited it for the shot that never came for a moment or two, before she attempted to push herself off the ground. However her body was still spasming too much to allow herself to gain any sort of leverage. Phaerin soon was kneeling next to her and he rolled her over to get a better look at her. She could stare at the alien as looked over like she was some sort of prize. He said something that she couldn't understand, but the little alien Kard translated it for him. It sounded like Aegir was right and that he planned to sell the redheaded agent into slavery. But then he squeezed one of her breasts roughly, making her gasp quietly. The little alien then told her that we going to sample her first.
Well, I don't know yet. I don't think Phaerin is going to let me out of his site anytime soon. Hopefully he'll want some privacy, that will at least reduce the odds to one-to-one.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
440000]Perhaps ... a;though ... He continued to monitor the situation as he read the various thoughts in the warehouse.
She war hauled up by Phaerin's hand that grasped her by the belt. Once she was standing he pulled her close to her side and began walking to the door of the warehouse. Kard following behind the pair either to join them or return to his work on the ship that became less of a time constraint seeing that they now had the agent. They had to wonder if a message got out revealing their position or not so time may still be an issue here.
"How much do you think she'll go for boss?"
Phaerin responded,
"Yes, you'll be better at determining that once you brake her in. May I join you or shall I get back to the ship."
Again Phaerin answered him. Kard nodded as they continued to move on now outside as the dual suns glared down at them as they moved towards the ramp of the ship, Phaerin practically carrying the stunned red head as they made their way up the ramp of the ship. Passing a few closed roooms they came to one which he thumbed open at the control panel of the door before roughly jerking her inside what appeared to be a large bedroom.
Lights turned on as they entered and Minerva felt her body being flung to the bed. Phaerin looked down at her and she could see Kard as well looking her over as a small smile appeared on his lips. He approached first, two arms grasping her by the wrists and pulling her arms above her head another pair grasping her breasts squeezing them slightly as he stradled her chest, looking down into her face as he did so. His grip was strong for a creature of his size, at least equivalent to a typical humans but he had demonstrated his strength early in the day with the crate that he dragged to the ship.
It appears that they're sticking together on this, two on one. If I'm reading things right, when they are finished the little one will go back to repairing the ship and you will be tossed into the brig.
Kard grasped her by her shirt, muscles bunching up as he pulled tearing the fabric a taring it at the front, his hands going back to her breasts, squeezing them softly as Phaerin reach down to the waist of her pants unbuckling and unzipping them as he began tugging them down the expanse of her legs.

Re: Alliances (for Minerva)
Minerva suddenly felt to Phaerin pick her up by her belt and tucker his arm, showing he had some strength as well. She struggled to get some feeling back from her body as he carried her to the ship as Kard followed asking if Phaerin can join him. The large alien replied in a language she still had no hope of understanding. Her body tingled as she was starting to get some feeling in her legs and arms, however the redhead still was not able to move them as they moved up into the alien ship.
The agent was carried passed a few rooms whose contents to where hidden from her. By this point she was able to make her wrists sway away a bit but she was still too away to get much movement from her arms and be able to move at all. Phaerin carried her further into the ship until the trio found themselves into a large bedroom.
The agent gasped as she felt herself being flung effortless to the bed, bouncing once as she hit the bed and before she landed back on it. The young woman then attempted to sit up as the two aliens approach her. Before the redhead could react, Kard climbed up on the bed and reached out with all four of his hands. He had a smiled on his face as pinned down her wrists with a pair of his hands, and then began to squeeze her breasts through her flight suit. The agent gasped a bit. N-no. Let me go! Let me go now.
As if to respond, Kard muscles suddenly bunched up and he ripped apart her flight uniform from the waist up as he went back to squeezing her now exposed breasts. Phaerin was also busy at work tugging her pants free of her legs. Soon the only thing the redhead would have left to defend herself was her black panties. I can't let them take me into slavery. I got to think of something to get out of this.
